Jason:

Jason walks over to the prince, who stands next to the window looking out.

Prince Allendro, it is a great honor to see you here, sir! If you would, I need to speak with you. It's a private matter, not for public ears.

Prince Allendro:

Lost in a daze staring out the window, Allendro ignores Jason for a few moments. Finally breaking out of his daze, he turns to Jason and nods in acknowledgement.

Good evening, Jason. For what do I owe this disturbance?

Bastet:

Hi guys, thousand apologies for being late. Most unfortunate.. Where are you seth?!

Seth:

Pauses in the middle of dancing and turns his head in the direction of the entrance. Standing there is Bastet, finally arrived. Smiling at her he continues his dance with Morganna

It would seem that my master has arrived.

Anubis:

Walks into the dining room and sees Bastet there. My apologizes your highness, sorry for my tardyness and not being by your side. Anubis goes back to his seat and observes everyone.

Queen Tatiana

Seeing Bastet she walks over and greets her, and asks to speak with her a moment off to the side.

Host:

Lifts up her empty crystal glass and taps it with a knife from one of the tables.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we can wait no longer.  The staff is about to bring out the meal, please take your seats to allow them greater ease in serving you.

Filling wine goblets and taking orders for beverages from the bar, the staff members bustle about the room getting the drinks served.

First course is a delightful Chicken, Andouille Sausage and Oyster Gumbo

Seth:

Finishes out the dance with Morganna, smiling he bows and kisses her hand again

I am afraid I must go see to my highness, but I look forward to seeing you again Madam.

Walking over to Bastet he kneels to her and smiles

My highness may I say you look ravishing this evening.

(OOC) Fine. I'll say it: For fuck's sake, people, quit posting. Our lovely host has already explained that we're waiting for people before we even begin. Yeah--before we begin--meaning no, you're not supposed to be running around like a vampyr on a boat. The idea is that you are a mobster who has gone on a cruise and at dinner you will be partaking in a murder mystery party. Why don't you wait for dinner to start before making this thread ninety pages long? I know I'm not the only one that can read instructions. (OOC)

From behind the curtains of the stage, music starts.  The curtains cut back slowly and emerge to show a band.

Slowing down chatter for a few moments, everyone listens to a slow love song.

Having received a small nod from Bastet, she pulls her gently off to the side of the tables and tells her the rumor she had heard.

Bastet dear, I have heard some nasty rumors that your family, the Were's, may be facing a revolt. is there any truth to this? If you would like to discuss this after dinner we can.

Puck

Puck walks up to his mother and whispers something to her "Hey, what did I miss? Sorry for slipping off like that, I had some things to do. I wasn't feeling to well, didn't want to piss anyone off by sticking around drunk."

Bastet :

Bastet's eyes widened. Pulling Queen Tatiana further away from the tables, Bastet takes a final glance to make sure no one is within earshot.

Of course, I cant say that I havent heard of it, but you have to give me details. After dinner it shall be.

I shall find you after dinner them, enjoy your meal.

Queen Tatiana then hurries to her table, and takes her seat, still searching for her family.
