Strolling with her long legs, slowly and with great confidence she catches Guinevere before she and Seth can speak.

Guinevere dear, you are a healer, as such, you have no business with a Vampyr, your abilities should be used for the greater good of civilization, please think about this thoroughly before you act irrational.  Arthur may not be a very fine catch, but there are ways of dealing with that.  Ways that would not have as many consequences as you and the Prince. 

She looks at Seth. 

Take Seth there, we all know he is plotting to take her out of power, which will put him into power.  Think of all the good you and Seth could do together, none of that good could ever come from a union with the Prince.

Isis:

Smiling to himself he quickly grabs a glass of champagne and taps it with a fork. Waiting for the room to quiet down he stands up in a chair so all can see him. Raising his voice he declares for all to hear

All those who are gathered here today, rejoice for a historic thing is about to happen. As you all know many many years ago I tried to become the leader of the Were, through less than peaceful means. I was imprisoned for 1,000 years. Over that time I had ample ways to think about how I was wrong. I discovered that instead of through violence I should have done what the law requires. I now call upon the Hidden Court to make a judgment. I wish to remove Bastet as active leader of the Were. My basis for this request, just look at what my Family has become. Our former glory is all but gone under her rule. I remember when being a Were meant you were looked at with dignity and respect, but no more, Bastet has seen that the only looks we get are ones of pity and shame. That is why I call upon the Court now, to exile Bastet from the Were clan and crown me as ruler so I might begin to reshape the Were Family into its former glory.

Stands up beside Seth, I second that, we need a new ruler as Bastet is no longer suitable to be the leader of the Were Clan.

She hurries to retrieve Bastet.

Bastet, please the Prince must speak to you at once. 

Bastet:

Bastet breaks off her conversation with Isis. Her face is red with anger, and she quickly grabs a chair for herself. Standing up, she clears her throat and carefully consider the words she use.

Everyone, what my dear servant Seth said here is not true. Everyone, we will be in great danger if Seth takes my position. I dont want to elaborate.. But you can always ask me privately what the consequences are. I need your cooperation on this matter.

Bastet steps down from her chair.
