Well... It's been a long stretch of road, but at 19:26 today the Godmother of Detroit will have reached one year old. From a fledgling crew that came out of the new territory of Detroit to the family that became the most powerful syndicate we have ever seen, Marietta accomplished more than any prominent leader we have ever seen or will see for years to come.

Her reign has defied logic many times over proving you don't need to come equipped with a handcannon for a gun to rule steadily and for a long period of time. Before leaving the city of Detroit I was her Left Hand Man for four months and had the pleasure of witnessing the growth of the city and her ascension to Godfather.

Things were not always easy though... There are situations in this world that require resolution by force, where we were inclined to settle matters with our guns. Let's see if I can remember the city heads we disposed of in the rise of Detroit to the top during my lifetime: Branston, Mont, Caligula, Briana Arao, Doyle, Bi Polar Bear, Mane, Dante Balboni, Gambino, Mr. MFer, Phantom Ghost, Acute, Guardian, Munchkin, Sal Giaquinto, Nicky, Adrian, JimmyTheLionHeart, Brick Pollitt, and Vicodin.

Those were obviously not the every day occurrence however, in fact those wars made up the slim minority of Marietta's time at the top. Most of her time was spent innovating new ways to ensure she never became bored or idle. The most notable, and I'm sure she would say important, events of her reign would probably have to be: Tea Time, instituting multiple auths in a city, the Detroit IA Tax, cracking down on the punishments for -48 slayings, Detroit is Crazy Week, the Detroit Chronicle, and her numerous contests.

Marietta has been directly responsible for many of the successes the majority of us enjoy now or have in the past. The stability her leadership provided has allowed people the openings to achieve heights none of them had previously dreamed to be possible.

I became a Godfather and my success is owed to Marietta and the people of Detroit. As a tribute to her I am sending the first dollar I ever earned in New York:

I hope this year has brought her the fulfillment she deserves and continues to bring her happiness. It's gone by fast, the good times always do.

Happy birthday Marietta, you've definitely proved your regin in this lifetime. I will be making a more detailed appearance later in another celebration.

This is an accomplishment that has never been archived by anyone else. You have created an empire that has stood tall longer than any other. This is a shining accomplishment. Legend, is an understatement.

My bloodline served Detroit for nearly 5 months. First through MickeyRourke, then Hypno, and then you gave my bloodline its best run lasting nearly 3 months.

Though we had a falling out and do not speak as often, I still do count you as a friend and a comrade.

Again Marietta, Congratulations and best wishes. Enjoy your success for a long time still to come.

Good Lord - a full year milady! And I must say that even tho as evidenced from my ancestor's diaries, my family line and you have often been on opposing sides of conflict, there is noone else they or I have the kind of respect and admiration for as one developing and running such an regime should have, one such as you. So, on your birthday I salute you.
