Congratulations, what a great effort.

Perhaps it's a touch arrogant of me to suggest as much as the descendent of some of the aforementioned, but to me the clearest indication of Marietta's success is the calibre of the opposition she faced.

In terms of those capable of posing severe threats come war, I grant you there are several no marks there, Messrs Doyle and Phantom_Ghost in particular spring to mind, 7 Godfathers and a smattering of CL's who had hitsquads with over and above ten 100 kill members, Riot!'s continuing survival really is no mean feat.

Of course, it would be ridiculous to suggest Marietta hasn't had an incredible run of luck. That's not a dig, just a fact. Anita had incredible luck as well, as have had the majority (if not all) who have ruled the roost.

But incredible runs of luck aren't everything. It takes more than luck to seize power, and certainly more than luck to consolidate that power over the course of a year. It takes shrewdess, intelligence and the ability to see beyond oneself and their immediate underlings, something I believe Marietta has always tried (and nearly always achieved) to do; and for that she deserves the respect, praise and commendations from everyone here, regardless of past differences and vehement opposition.

But what do I know? I'm just a Wise Guy!

Congratulations its some achievement, one to rank up there with Anita. My blood line has enjoyed both working with you and being killed by you in a number of different guises.

Here is to the next year.

Congratulations!  As has been stated, this is quite the achievement and only further cements your legacy here. 

What more can you say? You've been around awhile, I say it's the prune juice that keeps you so alive and full of vigor. Congratulations.

Words fail to do it justice. Marietta has stood, for as long as most of us can remember, as an inspiration, a pillar of our society and a shining light for all of us to aspire to.

She has built and rebuilt one of the most impressive empires to ever grace this thing of ours. Throughout it all, she has gone out of her way to provide our world with fun, friendship and that flawless wit that some of us have been so graced to witness.

As a leader, she commands without fear. As a friend, she helps without question. As a penguin, she flaps without flying! All nobel qualities that have earned her that special place in our hearts.

Happy birthday Mari! May the glory of your achievement be celebrated with joy and be remembered throughout the seven cities for eternity!

Thomas, when I first Joined Detroit about 7 months ago I noticed that you were a great thing and attribute towards Detroit. Then you were given auth into a City and took it over as the Godfather. I was very happy for you and It made me feel good.

Marietta has done so many things for us all and Im going to say that today, if her day off. She can sit back and celebrate an awesome achivement. Not everyone if anyone makes 1 year old. I remember when I never used to make it a month old. Then when I did I was so happy.

I would do anything to be in Marietta's shoes at the moment to see what its like to be a year old.
