I am trying to find out what happened and looking back, I see that announcements have been made about this sort of thing.

Does anybody at all in this crime world know WHY last night's war happened?

I am sure I am not the only one wondering.

Teo was wandering the streets, smoking a cigarette and enjoying the quiet morning when he noticed the bedazzled Nolan, Teo walked up to him and pet him on the back.

"Nothing major happened, apparently you missed the take down of Detroit. There's has been many rumours about the reasons, but Godfather BlackBetty summarized them in another street corner not far away as that Detroit was no longer friendly by helping Godfather Ivan Romanov to remove late Godfather Curtis, or that's how I understood it."

Joseph wondered the streets looking for whatever opportunities he could find to make a buck.  He came upon Nolan who was asking people in the street about the happenings of the last couple of nights.  Joseph normally keeps to himself, but he decided to approach Nolan and have a conversation.

Greetings my good friend.  Only a select few ever know all of the little details about happenings like last night.  I've found it best to just read through all the journals of those that give us the little information they want us to have and then try to decide for myself what to believe and what not to believe. 

Joseph looks over his shoulder, its just become a habit over the last few days. His family has seen its share of guns in the back of the head.

But at the end of the day it really doesn't matter.  Just keep a mental note of those you trust and those that you feel you need to keep an eye on.  Bury the dead, mourn your kin, and move on with your life.  We know what our fate is when we join this thing of ours.  Life in prison or eternity in a body bag. 

Joseph tips his hat at Nolan wishing him luck and then shuffles into the crowd to find another easy dollar.

Teo, thank you for your reply, but I am VERY surprised to hear you say that I didn't miss much. If the removal of so many people is not much, you must lead a very boring life. Or was that a slight at the memory of the hundreds that died last night?

and I know it's very philosophical to say "it really doesn't mater", "move on", "the reasons are not important"... but fuck it, I'm sure I wasn't the only one wanting to know. And if I was, was because I was still clueless enough to see that BlackBetty had explained what happened. But I'm sure MANY people always want to know what's going on.

Wandering through the streets rifling through pockets and purses Janky stumbles upon the confused fellow wanting answers about the fireworks taken place the night before.

Confused at the comment made, Janky had stopped in his tracks. Could this man be suffering from OOCitis?!?! Should he run in fear of his life? Maybe his case isn't that severe.

Of course you are right, sir. That's why I was surprised at your generosity. I'm sure those cigars don't come cheap. I'm not sure why you look as you're afraid of me all of a sudden. It's not like I'm sick or anything...

No one truly knows the reasons behind any events that happen. Its all just peoples version of the story. The simple "What happened, Happened.. " Sometimes ya gotta leave it at that. But honestly getting the full 100% truth to a story is impossible. Cause everyone twist the true version and the more people that know the further away the truth is..

True true.. But even some people responsible for the event even twist the story to suite there version better.. Ya really never get the complete truth unless you were the one behind the actions..

So instead of getting a version you know you have to take in with a grain of salt you just prefer living in the darkness. Pretty sheepish attitude to me...

I already stated that I say "fuck it" to all those positions. I want to know and many people want to know. We will never accept that "you can never know the truth" bullshit.

I am not trying to offend anyone. Maybe you will get the truth. But I am being realistic your most likely no gonna get the real reasons behind everyone's actions. Only half the truth is revealed but figuring out peoples true motives is unlikely..

All I am saying is its best to move on and start a new life instead of dwelling on the past. Take what you can from the situation piece it all together or just move on.. Preferably I don't see it being a sheepish attitude I am just more accepting of whatever happens.. That is the way everyone should be cause does it matter if you figure out why you died? You realize you are repeating yourself, right? Unless you are talking to literally everybody else and not me. I already said I wouldn't take the "move on" bullshit.

Nolan, there is no need to verbally attack the man, he's trying to advise you. That tattoo you got that says "Looking for a crew" this is a good way to not find protection amongst our organizations.

Shaking his head, Janky reaches for a cigarette. Smoke creeps from his mouth as he begins to speak.

Your bloodline is obviously new here, and I can understand your fired up over your fathers death. You really should consider letting it go though my good sir. You're not doing anything in your fathers honor causing a ruckus over finding answers that were already given. 

No, this is not about my father. It's about arrogant people telling other what they should do with an arrogance that is unbecoming. I hate false humility. I stand by everything I said. I am resorting to name calling but only because I am exposing how condescending he was in talking to me.
