That was a good synopsis Guff. "Almost" on the money. The bottom line is once again senseless deaths have hit our shores and some of these bitch slapping CL's could give two flying fucks. It does not occur to them without a crew they are nothing. 

Vincent hears tellmeanything speaking so he decides to turn around to see what they're talking about.

"I've seen it time and time again, what tellmeanything is saying looks true and there really isn't much evidence to say otherwise. The only opposition are the words of the CL's and their loyal crews. But in this life, actions speak louder than words."

Vincent yawns and retrieves a Cuban cigar from his coat pocket.

"My Father's favorite."

He lights it and offers one to tell

"What is there to do about these crew leaders? Their kin and bloodline quickly get back into power and the same shit happens over and over again, are their any solutions to this problem or are we going to run into a continuous loop and become an ouroboros? Constantly eating each other alive until the end of this world?"

There is a saying shame on them the first time and shame on me the second time.  CL's are so dead set on recruiting loyal family members yet they cannot uphold that very concept. I know what I will be doing when I get back to work. I will be making some adjustments to my work ethics. The changes will not hinder my family.  

"That's one of the problems though, people are so worried about new blood betraying them that they trace your bloodline to see if you have even ONE skeleton in the closet. Of course some of us may be clean so to speak."

Vincent takes a long drag from his cigar, he smokes these to relax and think.

"But, at the same time I understand that. Crew Leaders rely on loyal members who can back them up, take shots and protect them when war comes. At the same time though there seems to be a lack of fresh bloodlines from the old country. The same families and bloodlines continuously occupy these shores and take positions of power which leads to all the aforementioned problems."

He rubs his chin, it's about time to shave again.

"What can our world do to douse the fires of revenge and hatred? People put so much work into their lives only to have it taken away by one decision. Where do we begin to fix the problem? Does anyone thing there is no problem at all?"

There is a solution to every problem. I have a few in mind. I think a good start would be for a few to grow up and move on and stop using their crews as dummies. Beings this is unlikely to happen, and they are transparent, they are easily outwitted.

"If CL's cared more about their crews maybe this wouldn't happen so much. But on the other end of things, CL's need to look out for themselves also but in past and recent events it seems like that's all they do. Again, actions speak louder than words in this thing of ours, so just making a promise won't cut it. We've seen what happens to promises around here and it's never anything good."

Vincent puffs whats left of his cigar and puts it out on the wall

"Everyone around here is exactly ready to trust everyone they meet either, they'd sooner put a bullet in ya than shake your hand."

"How are we to put these ideas into action though? All the underworld powers aren't going to take kindly to this idea. But I feel like it would put even more weight on the title of Crew Leader if it was even harder to become a Crew Leader than it is already. Still stands the question of how to put these ideas into motion."

Vincent checks his pocket watch

"I've still got time to speak."

Vincent notices all the bullet holes, blood stains and corpses around.

"Rebuilding isn't going to be a pleasantry either. Let's just hope that when this squabble is over rebuilding won't turn into more bloodshed."
