Marietta gathered a rag-tag group of Mobsters around a shiny, brand new building in down town New Orleans. The city was desolate; almost a ghost town. Weeks of inactivity had caused some businesses to run themselves into the ground, and caused others to get a little crazy from lack of patrons. She swallowed back a gulp as she saw some rough looking men standing in the back of the crowd- thankful that she had her trusty bodyguard Leif with her. Stepping onto the concrete stairs in front of the building, she nodded towards the waiting and expectant people before beginning her speech.

Originally I wanted to be here to make this announcement on Monday, but the past few days have been hectic for Detroit, and I had to prioritize. Either way, I'll get to my point.

Awhile ago it was decided that I would have the opportunity to thin down my "herd" of Mobsters in Detroit, and allow some of them the chance to branch out and pave a new path for New Orleans. I have, as many of you can tell, been dragging my feet on this for quite some time. Weighing options and people against one another. Deciding who was right. Who was wrong. Who would best represent the city. Who would fail to do so. Who actually was putting in the work, rather than tooting their own horn and talking about why they felt they were the best candidate.

And when the dice landed for the final time, and came up again with this man's name, I knew that this was the decision I must make. And as hard as it is, I feel that this is the right man for the task. I simply suppose I'm just having a hard time letting him go.

Marietta smiles towards the crowd and shrugs.

C'est la vie, eh?

This man is loyal to a fault. Hard working. Trust worthy. Respectable and respected heavily within Detroit. I could give a laundry list of all his favorable traits, but I think the one thing that really set him apart from all the other people that could have been chosen was one thing:

His determination.

Constantly told in his life that he would never be anything great, he did his best to prove those rumors wrong. When people told him he would fail as a Captain, for being a man so inexperienced to the role and for being thrust into it without warning, he has done exceedingly well. Since I have known him and since he has worked for me, he has never once let his faith in his family or his city waiver. He is a man of many ideas, and while many men before him have too been idea men, I believe it is his complete and utter love and motivation to lead his family to greatness that will make him do well as a City Leader. His determination, as I said before, will be the legacy he will spread throughout New Orleans.

Throughout my time New Orleans has seen some great leaders, and some not so great leaders. My only hope is that my now former Captain will carry the torch of the great, and help develop this city into something amazing that Mobsters all across America will come to respect and admire.

Enough wasting time and being wishy-washy.

Marietta tosses a key to Death-Knight, whispering "For your new HQ" over the applause that erupted from the small crowd around them. Turning towards the building behind them, she smiled up at the empty windows and nodded her head before looking back at Harold.

"It's full of potential, just like you. Do well, my boy."

Marietta, I thank you ever so much for this moment. This is by far the best day of my life and reciving the key to New Orleans has made me such a happy man. It was an honour serving you in Detroit for just over 120 days. It was the best thing that has ever happend to me and I have learned so much from it that I will take with me to my new city. Detroit will remain in my heart forever and I will be sure visiting that wonderful quite often. I have so many memorys there that I simply would not ever be able to lock them away.

It was an honour being your captain and without you this would never of happend. It truly is the best thing that I have ever wanted. I will be looking forward to working along side you as a fellow Godfather and just because im a Godfather it doesn't mean you can't send me to bed when I have been naughty and ground me, because afterall I am still your son and always will be.
