As always DJ payed close attention to what his Godmother had to say. As usual he found himself nodding to himself in agreement with what she had to say. Through the build up he kept thinking to himself: DK, it's gotta be DK, he's abso - loot - ly the logical choice. He is without equal when it comes to putting forth effort to make the community grow and prosper. DK had been an absolute boon on the DT scene - and considering all the great men in Detroit that was really saying something! He was forever coming up with new schemes to catch peoples imagination and get them involved. And with his famous stance on pickpocketing he's the perfect fit with New Orleans long held image of a haven for pickpocketers. Yup, once again Marietta was right on the money. Quite a sacrafice for her to let go of this man. Just more proof of how worthy she is of her position! As a brief lull in the conversation finally appeared DJ lept forth and siezed the opportunity to offer his congratulations. You know it is hard to imagine Detroit without Death Knight. He has long been one of our brightest stars. Always coming up with new and interesting ways to get people involved and keep them entertained. Death Knight, you are a true man of the people and there is no-one more deserving of this tremendous opportunity. I look forward with eagerness to the New New Orleans; it's bound to become one of THE places to be for fellas like us. Congratulations my friend. Forgive me. I should have said...Congratulations Godfather ;) |

Congrats to you Godfather, I know this has been a long time coming. I appreciate the attention to detail that was taken into consideration with reference to moving you to take over the city. Must be well deserved, I personally haven't had any ill feelings, towards you at all...so that has to mean great things! Congrats again! |
