Ladies and Gentlemen of our fine community, I have come to the streets today to talk about making money. See, I feel that I am in need of my own clever way to make money...I am beginning to feel left out actually, so many different businesses out there these days, so many traveling folks coming through all of our airports.

It got me thinking, how do I capitalize on this necessary amount of travel. I don't want people to NOT visit Philly, I want then to feel welcome here, that everyone is always invited. However, I'm not sure I want pay for everyones Hotel rooms every night, you are invited...but lets be honest...hotel stays can be quite expensive, and I am trying to save up for retirement. So what I have decided to do is charge visitors for Hotel stays in Philly. I don't think you should be to alarmed, it won't be much.

 Oddfather pins a poster to the fence and stands to the side to answer questions. The poster reads:

Oddfather scans the crowd to look at how pleased the folks seem to be after they read the first couple lines.

That's pretty cheap right? Of course it is, I'm not a money hungry fiend! No matter what you have heard. Here's how it will shape up.

Prices if you pay in advance²:

One Night= $5000.00

One Week= $30,000.00

Prices if you don't pay in advance²:

One Night= $100,000.00 (woah!)

I know!! Expensive, but its in high demand, which is why I am asking for reservations to Hotel SPIRIT. I am a deal making animal folks!

Godfather Odd, I have read over your hotel proposal and have a question regarding the advance payment. Now, when we have to pay twelve hours in advance, do we have a timeframe to use the room? Or can we pay you the 5,000 per night fee twelve hours in advance on the off chance that at some point in the coming week we'd like to stay there?

Who can sleep in a place as exciting as Philly!

Jeeze, I almost feel like I'm taking advantage of you because I always have a great time when I'm in Philly; but I never sleep ~ so I get to visit for free?!?  That's one sweet deal.  Spend the night living it up in your casinos and fine nighty clubs and all it costs me is the air-fare.  When I consider all the money I make in the very brief "business" portion of my visits...well what can I say.

Maybe I'll just rent a room now and again anyways so I can have so friends up and party down (so long as Hotel Security doesn't mind I mguess...)

Bottom line - I LOVE PHILLY!.l  I've always loved Philly.  My family has deep roots there.  It's just a great place to be!

Godmother, the payment in advance would have to be for a specific night. The hotel fills up fast, so I would need to know for what 24 hour time period you would be paying for (calendar day 0001 - 2359). Non-refundable of course.

Of course the 12 hours in advance is there to encourage paying for the entire week.

With just a quick scan through the city of Philly, counting only those that don't look like they will be waking up anytime soon and likely sleep for more than 6 hours. AND in family's that didn't pay for them to sleep here tonight. There are about Eight possible offenders.

What would have cost collectively $20,000. Will now cost collectively $800,000.

Godfather Odd, This is a great idea that you came up with, I wish my ancestors would have came up with this Idea back he was RHM to Godfather JimmyTheLoinHeart (GRHS). This should work out for you with no negative outcome because either way your gonna get your money.

The easy answer? Pay for your entire family in advance...its a lot less stressful on all parties..and WAAAAY Cheaper as folks are beginning to find out.

It doesn't HAVE to be the City head that pays, I was just giving that as an option. You can pay as an individual, group, family or city, I'm easy...

So, I am spending about 3 hours a day explaining this over and over again. I guess because in my head it makes sense that I understand my poster here.
