Nope. Not going to happen. Here's why. If your cash (or some percentage of it) was transferred to your new character, then you would have a big advantage over someone who just saw the game on a ranking site or something. There would be more money still in the game, so things would be much more expensive (google what causes inflation). If things are more expensive (meaning keeping your money didn't help anyway), then the new player who just found MR can't buy anything, and will leave the game because it is too hard to get started. I don't think credits should move over, either, but they have to since you can buy them with real money. People would leave the game in a heartbeat if they spent real money on something just to have it vanish into thin air every time there is a war. Credits HAVE to transfer because this is only a game, not because of some convoluted RP story. If you want a trust fund for your kids, great! Go to a banker and set one up! I'd be happy to hold your money for you, and set up a password protected account, and then when you want your money, come get it from me. I'll even pay a bit of interest. Send me a MM and I'll get you started. |
