Duplicity sat down at a table with the headache that she was currently dealing with. After the night she had to deal with and the day she had she was looking forward to some rest. Duplicity looked at the papers before her she began to write the few letters she had to get out to her fellow leaders, sighing she picked up the pen and wrote...

Dear Friends,

I know we were all very aware of the arguments flying around in our streets between LA and the other cities. I was aware that this had upset many of you and that the fact that no apologies were being written, but this is not why I am writing you today. This has very little to do with the arguments that occurred.

What this has to do with is last night Nightcall-FM and Kavnisky came to Voodoo in hopes of Chicago helping them remove the "Uncle Joe" that supposedly everyone very much wanted in power. They came to us informing that this was not the case. That Joe actually was threatening them, he had people who backed him, and when he set up they would owe him 28 million a week, which then turned into 12 million a week and so on.

I informed Voodoo that this was LA's mess, not ours. Which they seemed to be trying to deal with since Nightcall's RH tried to shoot Tony_Salerno. He failed the shot and when questioned, blamed it on Voodoo. Saying that we were heading up the plans to take LA out. That Joe needed to get ready to fight the huge masses that were coming for all of LA.

Nightcall's RH continued to throw the lies out trying to turn Joe onto Voodoo by reassuring him that Donnie had voted for Joe to take back the power. So that was when Nightcall was removed and we left Joe to deal with Kavinsky.

When I woke it wasn't a very pleasant one. I thought the LA business was over and done. Yet, the issues with the disrespect kept coming back. More than our fair share weren't happy that Joe's family felt no need to apologize. Instead of leaving the mess that was created unattended, we decided that it would be best if the Ligambi family was removed. 

I am sure that we will all enjoy an earful in the coming days from different aspects, especially for me, but I hope that all understand that we went into this with the intention to let LA's problems stay their problems. That was not their intention though.

Duplicity

Signing all the letters, sealing them, and then heading towards the door. Duplicity shook her head and stared at the papers she was about to send. She knew this was the way life would go with being in the business with Mafioso, but she was hoping for a better light at the end of the tunnel.  

Looking over my father's journals I have to tell you this action was very much needed. Las Angeles wasn't prospering at all, Joseph Ligambi was ruining the city. He didn't know what he was doing, his hands didn't know what they were doing, his people didn't know what they were doing. I'm glad to see that now LA has a chance becoming the city it once was.

These bloodlines continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. I do wonder when they will decide to learn from these mistakes instead of pestering us with them time and time again.

Radical, you can't be a leader without first learning how to follow. This entire group of individuals needs to stop trying to achieve all these huge dreams and sit down to actually learn about our world properly.

I salute your swiftness Don Duplicity in handling this situation. It shows your dedication to our cities prosperity and our way of life.

Hearing all this it was clear to Uncle Joe that many obviously had problems with him. So much so that all kinds of truths were stretched. The events of last night were interesting to say the least. 

Looking through my journals I see all kinds of lies being thrown around. All of which could be disproved. Lies such as me demanding high taxes. Anyone close to me knew that I had no taxes on and liked to keep it that way to see who really cared. Lies of my inability to lead lol.

It's obvious to me and many that Nightcall-FM and Kavinsky wanted me out of the way to take LA. So much so that they played everyone who was involved. I mean why auth a guy and let him come to power if he's a threat? If he's in fact actually threatening anyone for a leadership role. Doesnt make much sense to me.

The truth will always be blurred. In all honesty they all wanted me for the lead role in LA. Like I said I have tons of messages proving it and the fact that I told them to keep taxes off lol.    

People can bash my last run all they want. ("I'm already out of the hospital and well on my way to recovering")

Charlie heard about Uncle Joe getting shot again and was instantly hit with fear if he would make it I mean the guy just got out of the hospital for this and he's already back in then he learned that an LA takedown had happens this really hurt deep down he had been brought in by LA and really cared for but now they were all done for it was a really sad day

Duplicity. I'm sorry but I still don't quite grasp why this take down happened. as you said yourself "~~this was LA's mess, not ours."

so why over reach your jurisdiction?

Let's even say that Joe DID threaten people and he had no actual support (although after 5 seconds of thinking you'll see that its impossible for someone to become the leader of a city after only 11 days without proper support and being trusted by some people). Even then you had no right to do this, in my honest opinion, which you agree with apparently but then you went pewpew for some reason.

This is over and done with but you are going to have to admit that you saw a chance to kill the authorized Leader of a city, and you took it, instead of hesitating and thinking this through. and let LA deal with its own mess. also I was there, and the only mess I saw was when Kav and Night asked Voodoo to take out Joe.

Voodoo did the right thing letting Joe know, and potentially gained an ally because of it. this again baffles me on why you did this. I think it was a mistake on your part. it was just senseless

Radical, dear, I'm sorry but you are supposed to be in a corner hiding instead of coming on the streets and shouting. Because frankly, you are a backstabbing rouge. Technical listens to Sivispacem's question.

"Thank you for coming out to this meeting Sivispacem, it means a lot that you would attend."

Technical pulls out a notebook with a pen ready to jot down a few things.

"Regardless of how you feel about the reasons provided I will assure you that Jurisdiction doesn't apply here. Jurisdiction would imply that we could not legally reach out to Los Angelos when in reality we did."

He consistently starts moving his pen at a steady pace.

"Whether you grasp the concept or if you do, it's not really something we are required to provide you. We did this out of the kindness of our heart to show you what we thought about this situation and out of respect for those that did not have any clue as to what we were thinking during this whole ordeal. Once again, I would like to thank you for coming out and I implore you to keep expanding on the vast knowledge of the world."

Technical rips the piece of paper out of the notebook and show it to the audience. It appears to look like he drew a Raccoon.

"Has anyone seen this creature? I would like to witness one of the seven wonders here."

He begins going through the crowd holding it up to people's faces.

The Ligambi blood line will never learn i remember my grandfather telling many stories of corruption in there dealings with one another, with the rest of the crime world.

Harvey woke from his sleep as the street rained with blood he decided to take to the streets where he saw the lovely Duplicity speaking.

Sivispacem well let me tell you this if you got the power and the gun you can pretty much do what you want in this life and that is what it boils down to. Duplicity clearly saw LA didn't have what it took to clean up their mess and saw many other problems so instead of letting it become something much bigger the took them out plain and simple

A quick precise decision by Duplicity and the rest of Chicago and I will take one thing that Kevin said whomever takes the reigns of leadership in LA hopefully they build it back up to what it once was.

I didn't ask for explanation, I said that instead of trying to give one, it would have been more precise to say what Harvey just said:

I seriously read this and realize that the majority of what has been said that I find to be shocking and unbelievable that such an easy explanation cannot be understood is coming from the kin or those still alive from the Los Angeles families. 

So with that being said let me try to put it to you simple minded Los Angeles people like this, basically when you go out of your way to ask another Leader to help remove those in your city, you involve another city with your inner drama. Now this is fine and has happened quite a few times before, but to then miss a shot taken on a Crew Leader and blame that person you went to ask for help is unreal.

What makes it even worse is that the city of Chicago agreed to stay out of it, until such time where that man who initially blamed Voodoo, continued to try to get Los Angeles to attack Chicago. Now I do not know where some of you guys come from but in this town when someone wants to attack you even if said city is completely weak, you attack first.

All I can say is, Thank God Chicago removed such brainless ignorant twats before such time where they could do heavy damage if their brain capacity allowed them to understand how to even build enough to do heavy damage.

With that being said I do feel kind of bad for insulting a dead cities intelligence, but you did just insult one of my two Godfathers so actually no I do not, if this goes above your head I guess I am screwed on trying to get you guys to understand the ramifications of what you did and I give up in trying to do so.

So you are saying that you didn't ask 28 million a week? Interesting since I have heard a lot of people say this was the main cause of these internal conflicts. How do you respond to that sir?

Most of us saw the discusssions, hecklings, whatever you want to declare them as on the street over recent talks between LA and others, and the auth of Joe.   I had never seen or read about anything similar in all my time, but looked on as LA's business, for now it didn't affect me.

A few days back a man came up to me asking about my tax system, he told me how LA was asking him for 200k a day and my reply is it's steep but not how my family operates.   I also told him he joined that crew so nothing i could do for him even though our bloodlines had worked together in the past.

Finally when i saw an alleged future leader of LA suddenly leaving for Chicago i wondered if LA would still be there the next day.  Reading on over the events and how LA tried pulling others in to the quarrel made me only have more sympathy for the ex-members.

Tragic, but even a blind man could see it coming.
