Seeing that the situation has been dealt with, I will share my opinions on the matter since I do not contest with anyone involved. 

The taxes that Mr. Ligambi placed on the families were 100k per person every Friday... The crews of LA averaged about 25 members in each and there were 3 crews (Not counting Tony Salerno's whose family close soon after Uncle Joe's opened up) so we can say that there were about 75 members of LA. 100k per person would equal 7.5 mil a week and thus, using simple arithmetic, would equal 30 million per week ROUGHLY given the approximation of members in LA.

The crews of Nightcall and Kavinsky felt that pumping 30 mil into one man's pockets every month was too much power, Godfather or not... Especially into the pockets of a man who had a strangle hold on virtually all gambling in the game. 

The attack on Tony Salerno was merely fault in Logistics and Miscommunication. Donnie Spilotro was only supposed to Locate Mr. Ligambi should the situation deteriorate however the original message had faltered between Kavinsky -> Night then from Night to Donnie...

Donnie then tried to save himself and began saying what he said... Which led to the killing of The Town, The Fury Outfit, and the Ligambi's soon after... 

Though I lost many friends whom I have known for a few years now, in this war... I accept the outcome as it is. Nothing was wrongfully done by parties outside of LA.

To all parties of LA: I hope we move on and put this nonsense behind us. We screwed up a chance at civilising a very uncivilised part of the U.S.

To all parties involved outside of LA: You handled the situation to the best of your ability, and I tip my hat to you as a former Los Angeles resident.

it is only unfortunate when it hits home for you as you continue to be trigger happy.

I'm not one to defend Duplicity or her linage, but she isn't trigger happy. While others will always shoot first, then give a fuck less about what comes second, she has always been level headed. Her approach to things is to be admired honestly. This isn't some sugar coating, ass kissing statement, only a piece of undeniable truth.

Technical walks up to Duped and pulls out his simpathy card. Placing his hand on their back and giving them a good pat on the back every two seconds while repeatingly mentioning, "There, there. It will all be okay." Escorting the individual to a vehicle that pulled up. On the side of the vehicle it read Rehabilitation Center of Chicago. About three steps from the vehicle two big guys stepped out to take Duped inside. Technical just continues to wave as they drag Duped to the road of absolution.

"I hope they can get them straightened out."

LA was a mess. I had good friends in LA, but the dynamic just wasn't working. I don't know if any of what has been said here today is the truth, when it comes to politics and what goes on behind closed doors, I tend to believe what people I trust tell me. That being said, I've no reason not to trust anything anyone has said here, either. 

If there is trust in certain elements of the accounts Don Duplicity has shared with us, then I would be disappointed in the decisions made by some of the characters who operate in LA. 

Regardless of what events unfolded to land us in the situation of LA now being void of anyone operating within the city, once more, there still needed to be a change. Bad blood begets bad blood, though I had hopes it would never come to this.

Rest well to all those who fell, I hope LA is one day busy once more. 

Some friends who were in LA crews and I were chatting the other evening and paraphrasing the conversation on their end, they both said at different times how inept the the leaders were at organizing the families, and the structures being put into place. These friends sent me logs to show me how the earnings were structured and how much was to be kicked up by each associate according to rank..also mentioned was the discord and internal bickering between families because no one could agree on anything, so mails were constantly sent on changes that only created more confusion in the lower ranks and made others just sigh and shake their heads, and wonder when the leadership of LA would get their heads out of their asses and get their shit together.

It is, and ive had the same policy since day one when my ancestors signed up under GF Starsream. Muck with LA ill shoot you myself.

Time for LA and LV to stop being "project" citys and just be a regular part of our world like any other. Don't really care if this catchs me a bullet, its the truth its  time someone steps up, says enough, screw the politics and dumb shit and runs the city right. Podrick was on the right track, so was night, whoever shot them deserves a bullet of their own. Right now if you aren't a Don, A consig, or a GF, your opinion doesn't mean jack and its gonna take someone that high in rank to sit things right in the west. Nothing else but an established family stepping up and taking the city and running it right will do. Sod the contests, sod the bloodlines, sod the buddy system. Theres enough people on the higher up list that KNOW what needs to be done, its just a question of who will step up and do it. I'd do it myself right now, fork over the cash, buy out the market and setup in center, but what good would it do? Too many idiots worried about politics and who they'll piss off rather then the future of our world.

Well since you felt the need to bring up Las Vegas let me assure you that Las Vegas is being looked after quite well. We are not a "project" city as you call it.

The last competition type city was  Los Angeles and that has ended. Currently Los Angeles stands empty since the most recent fall that Duplicity speaks of.

I cannot speak for Los Angeles or the events that happened there as I was not apart of it. I can only say Kudos to Duplicity for doing what she felt needed to be done. She didn't sit around and wait for it to get worse.

Ive stayed out of LV mostly, all I know is for a long long time LA and LV were both called "project" cities. Its been 6 months, or more, project time is over, time to get back to business as suaual as it were. If LV is actually sorted, thats great bnews, gratz to them.

The little raccoon observed the conversation and had wanted to include input into the talk at hand, but it came to his attention that raccoon's couldn't talk. He instead decided to run around and began to look around. He saw Technical looking for him so he scurried around, attempting to hide. He instead knocked over a trashcan after attempting to hide in it and ran off like the little rodent he was.

I would personally have to agree with the way that Duplicity handled the LA situation in the correct manner.

Although it seems that this situation did begin as internal matter, it was in fact LA whom turned this matter into an external one when they decided to get outside cities involved and then had the nerve to blame their plotting amongst each other onto someone else who was from a different city in order to try and save themselves when they got caught out.

At the end of the day, it was those people who managed to get their city killed, had they handled the issue properly from the beginning, this mess could have very well been avoided.
