You should consider yousrelf lucky to have been offered shelter so early in your ventures.  Especially when you certainly haven't earned the respect of your leader.  If I was lorrie, I would put a gun to your head very quickly after the mess you have stated publically.  No leader likes to see their good nature smeared all over the street.  It's almost as bad as smacking them in the face.  Have some humility and respect, accept with thankfulness, and prove to lorrie that their graciousness was worth it.

Azura, nowadays it doesn't take much luck to get offered shelter. There are people who will send out invitations even if you haven't requested them.

When approached with invitation to a family without ever speaking to any member of the crew, I keep my dignity and look around in this world for a family that I can speak to first and feel comfortable, would like to work for.

Why would you want a part of our history deleted? This can be used as an example time and time again for those who don't understand why member whoring is so looked down upon.

Especially now, at a time when this thread's presence might help encourage new players to report whoring twits.

The Seniors? Who are you referring to? Those who have played for years and disagree with this sort of activity? Those who have played for years and approve of this activity? Those who are new, within the last 0 - 3 years that think this is how you get membership and cling to quantity over quality? There are people that subscribe to the "cannon fodder" belief where if they whore all the one-time logins they can use them to feed their hitters later and that is the only interest they have in helping those new to our shores.

I could start off with a "Back in the day" rant, but it would fall on deaf ears.. Those that were around are nodding and remembering the efforts THEY had to put into finding a sponsor and miss the days where you weren't bombarded with invites from sponsors and leaders.

I won't bother wasting my time explaining myself, and I don't beleive i have reason to do so, my actions in my previous character were explained at the time to the people who took the time to ask me.

Member whoring has been an issue for quite some time now, the fact that my name was mentioned and not the names of many other crewleaders was unfortunate for me, fortunate for others i guess. I find it funny that some of the people who condone such actions publicly still seem to be doing the same thing but they wasnt mentioned so i wont bother naming names, not that it would matter anyway, I am the one that was named.

If this thread stopped any member whoring then great, if this thread made people think more carefully about there ways of member whoring then fine. do i beleive this has happened..no.

Before Tallien/Boaby picked New Orleans back up and put it on the map again the entire city of New Orleans was shit. Anyone that says different obviously wasn't paying attention to details.
