Forgive my confusion I was gone for a while but I thought this was 1930's but I notice the title "This Forum Is For 100% 1950's Role Play (AKA Streets)"

Everything including this thread speaks as if it was 30's. Has my return caused a timequake? 

Has the timeframe been widened to allow more topics and subject material to be included up to and including 1959?

Or is it a typo I only now noticed?

V2 will be set in the 50s to update it to the Casino era mafia

Sifting through old posts im not finding much at all on this. If anyone could link anything here it would be most appreciated. 

So for now what timeframe is acceptable for streets? only 30's? 30's-50's? Or only 50's?

And what about 40's? Will that be skipped? It would be a shame since few people know about Operation Underworld, Operation Husky and others.

My understanding is that the game is still currently in the early 1930s.  I know that I tend to go for 1934 personally when using items and places in posts in order to be historically accurate. My understanding is that either shortly before, or after the implementation of V2, the game will jump straight to the 1950s, do not pass Go! Do not collect $200. Hope this helps somewhat Revenant.

Its a shame the 40s will be missed. Just because they weren't making news didn't mean the mafia vanished.
