Nessa took a seat, placing her purse on the table in front of her. She turned to the new woman she didn't know and held out her hand, "Sorry for my bad manners, I'm Nessa." she said with a smile. She looked over her shoulder at Senza, "Hopefully," she told Morte before picking up her wine glass again. "But I can understand her distraction, that bartender is adorable." she blushed and too another sip of her drink, "And those blue eyes!" she practically gushed. "Few more glasses of this and I'm going to be asking him for a number." she practically cackled. 

Morte_Rossa let out a huge laugh and said, "Yeah I understand the distraction as well, but no need asking him for his number. He's a good friend of mine so I have his phone number. If you want it I can give it to you! What else are new friends for?"

She smiled then said, "Anyways, this is much better than standing, that's for sure! I will be standing most of the night so I'll take this chance to sit right now and when people start showing up I'll be the good hostess again and greet everyone!"

Fenrir walks up the block casually up the block passing beautifully decorated tables looking for Morte_Rossa.  After he spots her near the bar chatting with Nessa and MarissaVixen, heads towards them.  As he gets near to them Morte_Rossa turns from the bar and Fenrir steps in to say hello without interrupting the conversation.  "Good evening Morte_Rossa,  I hope you don't mind me dropping in like this,"  he said "but you know I can't resist a good party."  Fenrir turned to the bartender and asked for a Rum and Coke.  After he took a drink he turned back to Morte_Rossa and said in a slightly sarcastic joking manner "I know I am not so important to require a hand written invitation but to find out about this party through the grape vine. Tsk Tsk."  "Now if would excuse me ladies, I'm going to find a table to sit at to enjoy this music as more people arrive."  Fenrir inclines his head to Morte_Rossa, Nessa, and MarissaVixen each in turn and with his drink in his hand headed towards the nearest table.

Morte smiled as she saw Fenrir approach her. He joked about not getting an invite then said he was going to find a table. She said, "Yeah there was a couple invites that my bodyguard wasn't able to get delivered and one of them was yours. He was unable to find you so he brought it back to me undelivered. Here you go!"

She pulled the invite out of her clutch that was sitting in her lap and handed it to Fenrir. She laughed and said, "Also, you could just sit with us, as we're already at a table. Or you can just go sit by yourself, which would probably be kind of boring! But anyways, no I definitely don't mind you dropping into the party! I was patiently, or maybe impatiently, waiting for more people to show up and get this party started! Nessa and I have been drinking for a bit, and MarissaVixen just joined us. So please, have a seat!"

"well nice to meet you Nessa " I am Marissa and how is your day going.

I never go to Casino because I lose big on Blackjack all time. But when Morte invite I couldn't turn it down at all.

As I smile at my Friend Morte

Nessa grinned at Morte_Rossa and nodded her head, "If he's friends with you then he must be good people." she said before she let her gaze stray back to the man who looked rather impeccable in his white shirt and tie. "I've always admired a man who looks good in a suit." she admitted to her new friend as she reached for her purse to pull out her silver cigarette case. "Do you mind?" she asked the ladies sat with her as she pulled out her lighter just as a man walked up. She smiled at him in way of greeting before he wandered off again. 

She turned her attention to MarissaVixen and smiled, "My day is improving now, I thought for sure it'd be another day with the same things happening as before. But now, I have new friends and the weather is lovely and the wine is delicious." She chuckled, "Can't ask for much more, can you?" 

Victoria had just arrived back from New Orleans when she saw an envelope which looked to be a invitation of some sort with her mail.   I quickly open it and it was indeed an invitation to join the "Brooklyn Block Party" hosted by Morte_Rossa. .   Oh my God I can’t miss this.   The Paragons' Headquarters was very close and it would hardly take me any time to get there.   I grabbed a dress out the closet, ran into the bathroom to quickly freshen up.  While putting the finishing touches on my make up I phone Bentley to bring the car around.   

I was almost 2 blocks from the Paragons' Headquarters and I could already hear the music.  The street was already pretty packed so I told Bentley to let me out I would walk the rest of the way. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time.    

Morte_Rossa was enjoying her evening with her new friends. She smiled back at MarissaVixen and said, "Maybe we could all go play Slots together. We could possibly bring each other luck! You never know!"

She took a drink of her wine as Nessa spoke, then shook her head when she said she hoped they didn't mind her smoking. 

She said, "No not at all! Go ahead. I personally don't smoke but it doesn't bother me the slightest having people around me smoking. To each their own really! And I agree. A man in a suit is definitely a nice sight!"

Laughing, she turned her head to see VictoriaStone approaching them at the table. She was wearing a flowy dress that made Morte wish she had worn a flowy one as well. When Victoria got to where they were all seated, Morte said, "Hey Victoria! Glad you could make it! This here is Nessa, if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting her yet! We're all just drinking a bit while waiting for everone to show up. You can of course get a drink from the bar over there and join us here if you'd like! The more the merrier!"

As Marissa said sure lets tried our luck at slots:) " No Nessa go ahead don't bug me if want to smoke "

Hi Victoria you look nice tonight. Want to join us ?

As I pick up the phone and call L156 come join the Party hoping he can find us:)

The sun was beginning to set on the evening but the street lights would soon light up the venue. Morte_Rossa had no doubts in her mind that the party would continue on late into the evening, and her thoughts were confirmed when she saw FastFingersFreddy strolling up to the bar with a purpose. She saw him quickly order a drink and she excused herself from the table to go speak to him.

"Hey stranger!" She said to him excitedly. "It's been quite awhile since I saw you last! Glad you could make it to the party!"

She turned to the bartender and said, "Can I get a Vodka and Tonic please? With a slice of lime."

She smiled and thanked the bartender then turned back towards Freddy and said, "So, how have you been? I'm sure you've been super busy!"

As Victoria approaches Morte_Rossa  and MarissaVixen  she gives them a big hug

Wow you certainly know how to through a party and it’s such a wonderful evening for one.   This area brings back so many good memories.   I think I will pass on the slots for now maybe later.  I am starving and the food looks wonderful.  I think I will grab a bite, have a drink and hook up with you later.

She turns to Nessa gives her a hug.

Nessa it’s very nice meeting you.

Morte couldn't help but laugh when Freddy bowed. She had never had a guy bow in front of her before, but she knew he was just being polite. She listened as he spoke and when he finished, she replied, "Of course I'll be at your party! I wouldn't miss it for anything! Well, maybe a war or something but.. other than that, I wouldn't miss it! Now you have me all sorts of curious with your comments about 'things that man people have not seen'. Hopefully nothing too scary! I'm not a big fan of scary!"

She laughed and then said, "Anyways, you're welcome for the invite. I would hate to not have you here! You can liven up any party!"

Morte blushed a little when he handed her the flower. She was never sure what to do in situations like that. Smile of course, and say thank you, so she did both.

She smiled and said, "Thank you Freddy. That's very kind of you! And I see. Magic is pretty cool. I never see too much of it, but then again I don't travel very often anymore. I'm sure it does help with the low level of laws there. The cops are extremely uptight here and never let anything slide!"

Morte smiled and said, "No need to do any favors for me. I have my sources here in Brooklyn, which is way closer to home than Vegas! And thank you for ordering my drink. I think I'm starting to get a little sloshed. I've only had like.. five drinks or more. Not quite sure but I think I lost count. Anyways, hopefully the flight to Brooklyn wasn't too hard on you. I know how much you hate flying! That's why I avoid flying. I drive pretty much everywhere I need to go, or I have someone drive me there if I don't feel like getting behind the wheel myself."
