Duplicity really didn't have much to say after yesterday's events. All of what happened came from one simple line that was said by who she thought was her partner in crime, Voodoo. She understood why he may have said it at the time, but she had learned the hard way not to ignore threats and this one came straight from his mouth.

She sat on this information for a little while, making a move on him wasn't going to be easy, not just because he was strong, but because they had plans to work together and build a grand future. Even so she had to do what she had to do. No matter if people would be angry or not. She was here to protect Chicago and that was what she was going to do.

His words still rang out in her head, "That is all I need to say fuck Chicago when the time is right..."The words kept replaying in her mind and she needed to go somewhere to help get rid of it. So the local jazz bar would be a good place. To hear the relaxing and upbeat music, while sipping on a Long Island. She could escape for a little and hopefully remove the words of a friend from her mind.

​Duplicity knew it was hard for his own city to decide what to do. They were there because of him, but they also felt detached from him. She knew as a leader that communication was a big part. Even when you have a million things on your plate you still had to check in with everyone. If you didn't do that, then people lose a sense of loyalty to you.

Duplicity, herself, was always thankful for the loyalty that other cities would show her. Like the Motor City, Detroit and the Entertainment Capital, Las Vegas. She felt relieved to know that she had strong ties with them. Which now she hoped to continue to have the same kind of ties with New York.

Upon reaching the jazz bar, Duplicity took a glance at the city around her. The Windy City of Chicago was a beautiful place, a place she was proud to call home. Even though she couldn't hug the whole city at once, she would continue to show her gratitude for this city in any way that she could.

I've seen questions raised as to the reaction of the other districts of New York, however through assessing my own loyalties in the past and in conjunction with the way Don Duplicity has also touched upon the topic, I hope I can offer an explanation.

Loyalty for me works both ways. I trust those who trust me, I walk for those willing to walk with me. Regardless as to if there was any distance between Don Voodoo and his districts, or if he was aware of the lack of connection, my loyalty was with the head of my district for the time they have put into me.

I take every opportunity to create bonds with my members, because one day it will be those bonds that tests your strength, regardless of how much of a threat you might pose on your own or where your members are scattered too.

The question exists as to why Don Voodoo could not call on the districts of New York to support him, however it's not to be directed at the districts of New York.  

Visas sat in the Jazz bar with her friend Don Duplicity she knew Duplicity had something important to tell her she knew her friend to well by now but what Duplicity told her hit Visas like a thunderbolt.

Visas held great respect for Don VooDoo they had fought side by side for there very survival they had removed Vegas for a similer reason for Don VooDoo Chicago was there old home  even though Detroit was home to Visas she found herself spending alot of time in Chicago still. Visas looked at Duplicity she could see the sorrow in her friends eyes grasping Duplicity's hands in her own Visas told Duplicity no matter the cost she would pledge her city her Detroit to aid Chicago if it was ever needed.

Isabella  is looking for work that does not entail the hands across America theme. Judging by the pile shit she just stepped in she would have say only an idiot would bite when it comes to work.

Fact: The supposed threat was a month ago and did not take place exactly as stated above.  Excuses!

Let's not be hasty now Isabella. It doesn't matter when the threat was. It was a valid reason for war, though if the threat was perceived as real it concerns me that it was sat on for so long. Cap gun or no cap gun, the past few months have proven that you don't need one to win a war.

SammyGato, let's think about this. Latin's Detroit was fiercely loyal to him and New York was apparently not loyal to Voodoo. Do you think there was such a shift in behavior between generations to warrant the drastic shift in loyalty? No. So what's the difference between that Detroit and this New York? The answer is the influence of a group of friends who are notoriously loyal to each other. Voodoo inherited many of these friends when Don Obstacle was slain and was silly enough to trust them when he had been advised against it by so many people. True to form these friends are loyal to themselves above all else.

Tip of the hat to Chicago for doing what Voodoo hesitated to do and a wag of the finger to New York for letting it happen and even helping.

Isabella at no point was a timeline mentioned on when the threat was made so your point is irrelevant. Even of the threat was made a month ago, you can't always act straight away.

No point heading into a battle if you don't think you are capable of winning it. A threat was made and Don Duplicity done what she thought was in the best interest of Chicago. You can bitch about it as much as you want but the reason is straight to the point which is a lot better that some of long winded speeches that appear post war.

Despondent, I don't know much of Latin's Detroit and I'm not sure why you're referencing it. And I cannot speak for the rest of New York, but I didn't arrive in New York with friends to count on, only those I hope my reputation has earned the respect of.

So when I tell you that my loyalties have been shaped by my experiences and those who have engaged with me, it's the truth. Yes I respected Don Voodoo, but when it came to who put their time and trust in me, it was someone else. 

I would firstly like to mention that i hope that all whom had fallen in the war, Rest In Peace. In my eyes, You fought the great fight and yes this is for both sides. Voodoo and Morte_Rossa and the others that help them, well done for not giving up given the odds, My mother couldn't have found the words how wonderfully proud she was of you all. 

Duplicity, Chicago, Detroit and Las Vegas, although my mother would have preferred having a party with you all, she does understands why you's did what you did and so for that she cant hold much of a grudge considering the situation. So although she may have been a little hurt, she couldn't not blame you for what took place, She regarded many of you as her friends.

As for the rest of the New York, I doubt my mother would be very fond of how you turned your backs when push came to shove and the tough got going, i would also highly doubt how you great you would feel if it was your district that was in yesterday's situation and if Voodoo and the district of Brooklyn had done nothing at all to help you, but unlike you, the people whom fought yesterday are much better then that. Disappointing is a real understatement. You can find whatever excuse you wish to, in the end, how i see it you picked to save yourselves and turned back on your own City leader. I hope that you find good pleasure in watching those whom gave their lives where you would not and that you are very proud of yourselves.

So once again, Rest in Peace to the fallen.

Im sorry Sammy but to me, you seem quite ungrateful. Voodoo could've have just allowed you to become a normal working member in New York, and work to the high standards that he had to become a high standing citizen like many others had to do, but that fact that he had highly regarded the late Raccoon whom had approached him for you and your members to set up your headquarters in Manhattan under Raccoon so that your members would still feel comfortable under your leadership, he allowed it, so for you to sit there and bad mouth him is unnecessary. 

How do you respect someone whom you turned your back on, when if it wasn't for him allowing you to sit pretty where you are, You would not be there? 

My loyalty and service is to those who added fuel to my fire and stoked the flames, not those who just allowed it to burn.

I don't have an issue with anything you have said to be quite frank, except for this statement. Now I'm not brushed up on my recent history so I'm rather confused. All I can gather from what I am hearing is that Racoon fueled your fire and stoked your flames and Voodoo let the fire burn?

If that is true from what I have heard between you twos conversation I just have a question about it. How does Raccoon who is no longer alive, have anything to do with loyalties when it pertains to recent events? If the one who has passed that helped fuel that fire, wouldn't it then be a responsibilty to be loyal to the one who did allow it to burn? 

As as ive stated this is merely a question that I have with only knowing what you two have spoken. As your decisions is your decision, which I respect, it just leaves me trying to understand them as an outsider looking in.

You seem to have hidden issues, which can be plainly seen by all of us. Then again, betrayal isn't a first time around here, just don't try to coat it next time by mentioning someone elses name. It just leaves a sour feeling in the end and you ruin your image even more than you already have.

What you did and the rest of NY was on you all. Be it bad or good, loyalty is all about "jumping" to the bullet to protect your don/gf/the damn boss of your city, but lately that loyalty is being.. manipulated? Have no clue anymore.

Oh yes, Raccoon died to unfortunate events, Voodoo had then authed Brooklyn due to that was whom Raccoon wanted to authed but didn't have the chance too. Whom i am guessing is the person whom stroking and fueling you. So in an overall aspect, you wouldn't have even had your stroking and fueling to begin with had you not been allowed to burn.
