This behavior absolutely disgusts me, and is certainly not the way I have guided my leaders to act. I would never condone this sort of action from anyone I'm associated with, and it sickens me to witness all this bloodshed over one man's poor and nearsighted actions.

I will be making a more lengthy speech about this tomorrow, but while I can right now, I'd like to personally apologize publically to Godfather Premier, Don Sherlock, and all of LA for the actions of KingBenny.

I have worked hard to turn Chicago into a respectable city, and that legacy that I have built has been tarnished today. For that, I can't express how ashamed I am.

I am especially curious what behavior disgusted you. Was it the fact that I chose to stand up to a city that basically declared open season on my Family? What was it exactly that sickened you? KingBenny walked the streets in designer suits. When he spoke on the corners, people listened. They listened because they were amused. They were INTRIGUED! Women swooned over him. He was handsome and charismatic. Not some wrinkled old mess in a goddam raggidy black BATHROBE for chrissakes!

You're a good guy, and I liked you because of that. A very funny guy too and I think you'll agree that you and KingBenny had some pretty good chats. At least KingBenny thought so. You once told me that I reminded you of yourself when you first started in Our World. In a lot of ways we are indeed alike. Similar personalities at the very least. Apparently the one major difference between you and I was that I was never afraid to die in This Thing Of Ours. Especially for the Men and Women who pledged their loyalties to me. And that's not to say I didn't execute a shitload of Cheese Syndicate associates for misdoings, but everyone in my crew knew that I was willing to die for them.

Probably nothing. It's much easier to lay the hammer down on your own subordinates than people beyond your grasp that are shitting all over you. I can appreciate where you are coming from, but that's also what makes us different I suppose.

Actually Quirinus, the statement is ambiguous and very easy to misunderstand if you ask me. To take the statement in it's entireity, rather than in parts as you have done, we hear that Kizzy would:

I'm sure my Don could come out in the streets and make it known that he'd greatly appreciate a donation of $1million from each mobster; that doesn't mean it is an imperative. Sure, most mobsters here will understand exactly what Kizzy meant and it really isn't necessary to throw around "Do not's" as we are all adults. However, it must be also that some people are either not yet savvy with the ways of our world, or not all that great at understanding subtle turns of phrase.

Either way, I could fully understand individuals seeking an absolute clarification given the statement put forth here.

Nicely put Don Butt_Ox. I may not know exactly what went on so will not throw wild accusations around. Needless to say it is not really any of my business either. And really, the fact that, 'I was that I was never afraid to die in This Thing Of Ours' is heroic yes, but you, or really your father, I don't know who I'm talking to here really, had an obligation to your crew and your family, the fact that you were willing to die for a cause is great and all, but what about your crew members? Should you all have died over this account? Would it not be better to follow a course of action that would not get you killed, leaving your crew members homeless? I believe there are certain times when a heroic effort which will most likely end in your demise should not be taken if there are people who are depending on you for protection. And saying that, I see how you could say that you were trying to look out for those being shot, but really my friend, if the ones who were being shot couldn't follow simple rules, then they aren't worth losing everyone else over.

Thank you for the words, Don Butt_Ox. It should be noted that the Men who died with KingBenny had balls as well. The Cheese Syndicate went into battle knowing they were facing certain death, and willingly went to their graves with their dignity intact. For that I will be eternally proud of them all.

To OJ DA JUICEMAN's point, I will be leaving these streets after this. It is not right for me to stick around here lurking in the alleys waiting to interrupt Godfather Sidious's speech for my own self-serving reasons. He is entitled to his feelings, and any resentment he feels to how things were handled. He should be free to say whatever he feels without having to worry about a pesky next-of-kin sabotaging his speech.

In my Father's final hour, he found that the very man he was fighting against was far more Honorable than he had given him credit for. In the end, KingBenny gave himself up to a man he never trusted in exchange for the rest of Chicago's safety. That man proved to be a man of his word and should also be commended.
