*It was a colder night then usual, on this September night, yet the nightlife was buzzing with the news. Philadelphia, had received it's new God-Mother; God-Mother Rourke. Nicky pulled up outside the "HQ", he lit a Cuban, and stepped out of the car. As he made his way in, he greeted and shook hands with the people he knew. After a few minutes of friendly banter, he made his way to the back, for the real reason he came.

He approached the table in the back, where the newly appointed God-Mother sat, celebrating her rise to the top of the Philly crime world. As Nicky approached, one of the God-Mother's bodyguards stopped him in his tracks. Not being a made man, he was still treated as an outsider, so he was frisked and questioned. After receiving the nod of approval from the God-Mother, he made his way to the table. *

"God-Mother Rourke, Sorry to interrupt your celebrations, but I wanted to congratulate you in person. I'm honored to see you take the reigns of this city, even though I've only graced this city for a short period of time. However, in that time you have always shown kindness towards me, and offered me nothing, but help. For that, I thank you, and I hope your reign is a long one indeed, as it would do Philly a great deal of good. If you ever need anything just give the word, and it will be done."

*Nicky leans over and kisses the God-Mother's ring, the appropiate thing to do, in this "thing of ours." He says his good byes, and heads back for the door. The night was still young, and there was still money to be made.
