I know it has been a crazy week, from the departure of GodFather Thomas Rourke and Butt_Ox.

But do you people think it's time for a restart of the MafiaReturns game. To me myself I think it is time, we have people that have already accomplished everything they could. As GodMother Marietta, one of the best players we have seen in this game in a long time. Even my old Leader such as Count D, and the old style Mobsters could have never outsmarted the leaders of today and how they have reconstructed " this thing of ours"

But now it's time for the new people to give it a shot.  To prove what we have learned in this past year. We have had the best community support and the best and loyal people playing.

But to me it is time. Time to let the new shine. So it's up to you guys, do you think we should start it over?

People still have a shot. You show your worth and might be offered the position as a leader. It's quite common nowadays with the 4-5 leaders per city.

no I don't think it is time for a reset.  I think it is time to pick up the pieces and move on

I like the idea, but think about it... You have just reached don. It has teken you many months then bam! everything was reset. How would you feel?

It's always the lower ranked people who seem to come out with these type of threads, Why is their a reset needed? If someone thinks they can do things differently then it's up to them to take it. All a reset would do would cause a mad rush for people to rank as fast as possible and things might be a bit different for a while but the cream always rise to the top.

I don't know where people got the idea of a reset from, anyway. Aside from the short rounds we did before the planned release of V2, we've never had a (voluntary) reset (unless one wishes to talk of old .org days, with the first V-Day).

Well that is true Sam Rourke, and I feel selfish for not putting my shoes in postions such as Demine, but I would still like to see a reset. becuase the same people mwill be in charge for a long time. Maybe a little war will start here and there but it will always be the same people. I love all of you but, I would just like to see the new mafia era in the making, becuase after every reset, we have new and respectful leaders. 2003 era Count D, im not to sure with the dates but then we got Anita, then Scotland. Etc, now the new leader would have to be Marietta. I just want to see the new and egar mobster to step up to the plate.

For what was happened today it's just a coincidence, Only the admin and the developers of mafiareturns can make that decision not us, it is unfair also if there will be a reset to all accounts even if this decision takes in voting majority would disagree, for me as a gamer I enjoy this game as a beta cause it is still open for a change there are still many people with many different great ideas that can contribute in this game and can suggest great changes to make this game more realistic and perfect to the eyes of the gamers.

I think it is not yet the right time.

Everyone can be toppled if people are willing to put the work in to do it. The reason nobody has beaten the Godfathers of the day is because they've basically been outplayed by them and don't deserve to win.

I think it should only be reset when introducing code that requires it and would create imbalances between old accounts and new accounts.

I suppose the difference now is that nobody is "dominating". People are in power, but they're not oppressing. They're actually promoting prosperity.

Theres no overpowering need to reset.

The true tragedies are when people are given positions of power and a chance to make some real change - and then a reset comes just as they get their chance to prove their quality.

I think the thought of a reset is awful. Unless absolutely necessary I am against resets full stop, let alone in the near future.

You want to reach a high rank? If you deserve it you will. This is the way of our world.

 This is coming from a low ranker who may benefit from a reset, but I am one who strongly believes in deserving rank and position, and if you dont work your arse off for it, you shouldn't have it.

Hey I don't want a high rank, thats not my point of a reset. My point is to bring out a new generation to the field. Marietta and so forth leaders will dominant until either they retire or go inactive. Shes not going to ever be taken down I can tell you that much.

Not that I want it to happen or anything im talking in an out of game term etc. 

I just want to see it happen from the start and see how everyone would act as the same rank and who would have the smarts to take control of it all.

Im sorry but this game is getting a bit boring, I love it and will still play but it's loosing it;s taste. It used to be so difficult to rank and etc. Now there is about 1000 Dons, and Already had 299 GodFathers. I just don't like that.

It's always easy to suggest a reset for those who have little to lose.

This game is different from most. One of the ways it differs, is because it is mostly, if not entirely, run by the users. If you want change, make it happen. Obviously, you have some disagreement with how the leaders are running the game, otherwise you wouldn't have created this thread. So, either try to settle the problem with the leader(s), or get some friends and do what you need to do.

Publicly announcing that you've lost hope in taking out the oldest player to date, is not a reason to destroy what everyone's been working on for months.

It's a game calm down kid. Also you said I want to "Take down the old players or some thing" No I was not saying that at all but your ignorance would say different.  I actually think Marietta is one of the best leaders we have ever seen in this game. Ever. No doubt about it. She redefined the game.

Another thing I don't have a problem with any of these leaders. They are all fantastic and well experienced. Im just not to happy on how easy some can rank, also on how easy the money comes in. I actually like Mafia returns.com because it reflects the old code, the old things. Thats why I loved it in the beggining so much. You just never knew what was going to happen. It was more intense. And if some of you want to differ on that I'd be glad to have a debat with you.
