There is absolutely no reason to remove the +'s. I don't care what is said about it, it boils down to the fact that we had them for 2 years before they were activated. For those 2 years noone said a damn thing about them. Now that people got killed for breaking game rules, for deliberately trying to outskirt the system, people complain. Vote fraud to me is WORSE then duping. Duping you have multiple accounts. The damage control is quite simple, really. Kill of all the accounts. Done. Vote fraud? You're boosting a single account by effectively getting paid to lower our standings in the voting sites. This is a chain reaction which leads to lowered registrations, lowered IAs, and less fun for all involved. So voting fraud not only effects the one or two accounts involved, it effects the ENTIRE SITE. So I think every one that got jailed should have been killed. But maybe they will learn their lesson. Who knows. |

Well, I can understand the fact that people dont want to sit there and look at +++++++++++++++++++ at the top of their screens. Yes. We had to look at +++ at the top for 2 years, but its different now that theres 20 +'s. But I also agree that lazy people should be disciplined, but death is a bit harsh in my opinion. The severity should be judged upon how long they are in admin jail. 3 days = 0 votes... 2 days = 10-20 votes etc...But thats why I am a player and not an admin. I support all the admins do for the game. Thank You. |

So Phelix, the goal of the voting is to get more and more IAs for us to shoot? And in return that makes us have more fun? I think you should be saying that voting helps brings more people to the game and build the game bigger in population wise. We want to bring more ACTUAL players in my opinion then just inactives. You sound like a vulture in your post and I am not sure if you meant it the way it came out. I have tons of fun on this game and I don't chase IAs much at all anymore, meh... |

Well AvonBarksdale, as Squishy has explained numerous times previous, for every 10 users that follow through on our registrations, 1 or 2 stay. This means that yes, we do get more users, but we get 8 or 9 IAs from it too. I also didn't mean to make it sound as if IAs are directly linked to the fun factors of this game, as I myself don't do much wacking. I mean the fact that more users gives more fun. |

| Understandable. The way it was read, made me believe that the only reason you wanted voting was to kill the people who join. | |

Given that some people have died, some are in jail - with a mixture of sentences from 19 hours to 3 days - I presume there is some kind of scaling range of punishments being used by admins for consistency. Why not just publish that and also publish stats so people can see their own. It might encourage people to continue voting. As I say, it's clear you are only going for the worst offenders, but it all comes across quite aggressively. So, the options appear to be: - Help us by voting, but if you fuck up, there is a chance you'll be put in jail or die. By the way, we're not disclosing the fuck up levels. Or, Please note, as I've said numerous times, I have voted continuously for months. However, that doesn't mean I can't see where people with an issue are coming from. A bit more openness with the available information might help, especially when it's not really sensitive data (I'm talking about punishment levels and personal voting stats). |

Mux, we have seen a massive drop in registrations over the course of the last couple months. We have been fighting to figure out why. We have also seen a massive drop in our vote site rankings, which are entirely dependent on our users voting for us. Now you tell me how this is NOT decreasing MafiaReturns' rankings on these vote sites? |

The only reason registration dropped in MY opinion is because of the little summary you give the game with the whol" the cold steel of the .45 presses deeper into your skull" ppl think " Oh shit a computer game with some graphics and you can acutally do sumthin on there" thats why I joined 2 acc ago and when I played this for the first time I was like wtf is this shit? But for some reason this game grew on me |

I dont know about you guys but I use firefox and my +'s are very small, how they can be annoying I dont know but I guess everyone has their pet peeves. As for creating away to turn them off, I personally dont think its required but maybe something admins can look into if its that big of a deal. Lastly, if you died from vote fraud, guess what... you where givin ample warning with Squishy's mass mail.. You chose to disregard the notice thus choosing your fate.. Most of us have seen the results of disregarding admin mails/notices and I believe they chose the right path. It definitly got the point across.. |
