Anna waves over to the bar for another drink.

So I guess if you want to spin it, the Godfather doesn't owe it to the streets or a demanding crowd. They owe it to THEIR family and those they protect to be savvy enough to balance the politics of our world with the sense of privacy dictated. Otherwise, they are just stoking flames, that will eventually grow to engulf them.

"But where is the balance, Money-B? The Godfather must tell everyone everything they ask? That puts their family at even greater risk. There's a balance to be found, but wherever the balance is, I honestly feel as though no Godfather nor Godmother who ever graces our shores, who ever rises to position and prominence, should go out and explain themselves all over the streets on the demands of a small, young few. How are we to respect our Godfathers and Godmothers if they take orders from these crazed young ones?"

Anna turns to L, just in time for her drink to arrive. 

 Okay, okay, perhaps I was slightly incorrect in saying that they have absolutely nothing to lose but they certainly have less to lose. Typically when they make these demands  they aren't sponsored by anyone just yet, they haven't invested time and money into this way of life, etc. Plus they're young. The young do stupid things sometimes, it's in their nature. 

"Just out of interest, in response to that point, L, yes, many of these young ones, who are so rude to those who have dedicated their lives work to this thing of ours, to those who have slaved hard, fought hard and managed to make their way to the top of the mountain, are not sponsored when the bile first starts to spill from their lips. They haven't invested their time and their money into our way of life, but they still have something to lose - less, but still something. But more typically, the next time you look, they're wearing the badge of some Made man or woman. What does it say of the families who accept these types in, then?

I also don't really believe you can excuse this type of stupidity with youth. What next, we excuse someone for forgetting they can't shoot a sponsored member because they're old, dementia might have set in and they just couldn't remember? Stupid is stupid, old or young, sadly.
