Katherine listened in disbelief to at least two people, one who had already been shot and was now cluttering up the streets with his dead body and one who obviously didn't understand the mathematical basics of gun ballistics.  As much as she knew yelling at a dead man was pointless she still felt the need to state the obvious. 

"Silk and velvet are two totally different materials.  So is this the work of the silk glove or velvet glove?  Plus, silk is quite cool to the touch, so you're wrong there too." 

After she had addressed the dead man she turned to talk to SiameseDream

"Seeing as the bald man addressing us was a professor of some sort and not, say, a whiz with magnets or anything, he obviously had nothing to do with Godmother Rita's death other than being able to observe the laws of physics involved in a ricochet.  Trying to say there was anything at work other than coincidence is really going beyond the pale in a situation like this. Honestly, it surprises me that you'd criticize a godmother from your own city in this way. Especially since all signs point to a tragic misfire, rather that malfeasance."
