The family reunion was bustling, music, dancing, drinking, food, alcohol. About all we needed. The Zucaro family was always crazy in there own way, but we were fun seekers, sure, we were an actual family rooted in Mafia, but we still liked to have fun.

Everyone in the family was here, from distant cousins to uncles, aunts, my brother, my sister, etc. Everyone here except my friends were Zucaros.

"Hey Ben Zucaro! How's it going?" Tom Hagen, a friend of mine, said.

"Good" I said. We were standing on my porch, I was drinking alcohol, first drink of the night for me. It seemed refreshing.

"Man your family big, Ben!" Tom said looking at my family.

"Well you'll soon have a wife and family" I said to Tom, who was engaged. Tom smiled, and went back to the party.

Then I entered to join everyone.

Me and Tom, my fiance, arrived at the party. Tom strolled off immediately to Ben Zucaro to talk to him.
I didn't know what else to do, so I phoned Laura Sabloni, my best friend, and also daughter of Enzo Sabloni, who was the head of the Sabloni family.

"Laura? Hi it's me, Lilly."
"..."
"Yeah, by the way, did you hear about Tom and me yet?"
"..." "I know, isn't it cute? We went to the theatre and afterwards to Verona Hotel. You know Verona Hotel right?
"..." "Well it's not important. Anyway, he proposed to.."

I took the phone from her hand and hanged her call up.

"What the hell was that for!?" Lilly asked.

"I don't want anyone I know talking to the Sablonis, the family hates them, remember?" I say while walking to get another drink.

Lilly storms off to Tom.

Walks into the party for B10's family reunion that he got invited to. But there was no doubt in his mind that he's going staright to the food!

As we walks in he sees that Lilly stormed out right beside him. But he didn't care with the smell of baked chicken and some honey chicken.

Hey. Chris says. Why did Lilly just walked out?

I saw Lilly coming towards me and she looked pissed. I felt like turning and trying to get away but I knew that it would be worse if I did. She stopped right in front of me and said...

"What the hell is your friends problem? He just hung up the phone on me for talking to Laura Sabloni!" she yelled at me.

"Well his family don't really like the Sabloni's so...." I tried to say but she cut me off.

"Well if your friend ever hangs up a phone on me again I'll cut his hand off. I don't see why you like him as a friend anyway." She said angrily, getting in my face.

"Ok, ok. Calm down. We've been friends ever since our dads died. Our family bloodline has been close forever and I'm not going to break that for nothing."

Ben walked around, greeting many members of the family. There was Bruno Zucaro, Lisa Zucaro, who was my own sister, my grandfather, some cousins, ad many other people. It was a nice party.

Then Lisa walked up to me and said, "Hello brother!" She was hugging me, she never sees me since she lives in Italy.

"Hello Lisa" I said to her.

"How's our brother doing?" She asked, and I told her, "He's doing great. Still in the mafia game of course"

She seemed sad, "You know I don't think you guys should be mafioso, you know" 

"I know you are worried, but no need" I reassured her, "Brenden can take care of himself" She still was sad.

"I have to catch a plane soon, so I need to go now. Just letting you know, I don't want anything to happen to my only two brothers" she said, then walked out the door after only being in America for two days, then again, the party would be over in 10 minutes.

Then Tom approached the refreshment table, and I decided to get something too.

I stopped in front of the refreshments. Looking at my options and then picked up a bottle of wine and began to pour myself a glass. Then Ben walked up and stood beside me and I passed him the bottle and he accepted it.

"So, Ben....." I paused for a moment to make sure I didn't say anything offensive.

"So why do you hate the Sabloni family anyways? Just wondering, cause you never told me why."

I sighed.

"Ever heard the of the 10 days breakout?" I asked. He nodded. "Three people who were escaping were Enzo Sabloni, Giovanni Lattanzi, and my uncle, Bryan Zucaro. They were the three of the only four who were free, well, almost. Then Giovanni's boss killed Giovanni and then committed suicide. Bryan tried to kill Enzo, since he had betrayed him, but he didn't die. Since then, The Zucaros, the Lattanzis, and the Sablonis have hated each other, for this one event. Enzo is still alive to this day too"

I nodded as he listened to Ben. When he finished I looked at him questionably.

"So who are these Lattanzies? I've never heard of 'em. They a sicilian family or something. Cause I thought I knew most of the families." I looked at him waiting for a response while I sipped on my drink.

"The Lattanzi bastards. They are sicilian, but they are an actually blood line mafia family. They dislike us as well. They don't like publicity, they don't like being known"

"They are the worst scum you can find on the Earth, Giovanni Lattanzi was the worst! He was so cruel, he killed my cousin by choking him, he was only 8 or 10!"

Tom looks at me with surprise, at how awful they sound.

"My brother, Brenden, or b9, is planning on kidnapping a Lattanzi, are you in?"

I sat down and thought about it for a moment. Then I turned back to ben.

"You are a old friend of mine. And I trust you very much. But this kidnapping. I'm not a hundred percent sure if it is a good idea. But I can't sit back and let you guys do it by yourselves. I'll come just to make sure you don't get into any trouble." I got up and patted Ben on the back.

"I can't believe you!!" I knocked into their conversation and took Tom apart. "Tom, don't you see this could be very risky for you.. You know what the cops will do if they find out! I won't let you do this".

Then I turned to Ben. "And I don't give a damn about you doing so, but leave my fiance out will you??"

"Well he has a mind of his own, and he can use it however he pleases, second, my brother has already planned it out and is going with it, having Tom there may help us all!"

I stomped out of that room and on to the porch, and Lilly got mad and started to storm out of the house, then Tom stopped her.

I grabbed Lilly and pulled her back to me.

"I know its dangerous and I know you don't want me to do it, but.......If anything happens to Ben when I could have been there to stop it, then I won't be able to forgive myself. You know that nothing will happen to me. I'm good in a bad situation. If anything were to happen to me though...." I couldn't finish the sentence. So I just pulled her closer and kissed her passionately.

 It was the next day, we were all ready to kidnap Anna Lattanzi, wife to Giovanni Lattanzi Junior. We were all set. Tom Hagen, his brother John, my brother b9, and myself were going to get her.

We were at the Lattanzi Manor, were Giovanni Jr lives with his wife. We all got to the wall of the house and looked to make sure no was was around. The balcony was above us.

'Did you bring the rope, Tom?"

I stepped out and showed him the rope. I didn't feel like talking in such a situation. I just wanted to keep silent and keep my cool. I swung the rope around and around and around till I knew it would reach the balcony. Then I threw it............"Clink" Success! Then I turned back to Ben..

"Okay. I'll start climbing first. Lets go!" I whispered.

Tom climbed up fist, then my brother, then me, then John. Once we were all up there, we walked out of the room and I peered out the door into the hall. I saw a maid walking down to the stairs.

I grabbed a bottle with liquid, put it on a towel, and walked behind her, and I put it over her nose and mouth, knocking her out.

Then we heard someone in the house say "Giovanni? Are you upstairs? I thought you were doing that thing of yours, or whatever"

"Are you guys ready?"

I turned and nodded to Ben. I slowly took position at the top of the stairs. Waiting for her to get to the top of the stairs. Then I saw her, Anna Lattanzi. She saw me and I grabbed her and covered her mouth before she could scream. Then my brother helped me restrain her. I turned to Ben and whispered...

"Okay.....Now what!?!?" Ben hadn't told us what to exactly do once we got her.

"We're going to use her for ransom, to get money from the Lattanzis, about a nice million dollars"

We saw a bodyguard approaching downstairs and he said, "Hey, what are you doing?!" He started firing at us, then my brother pulled out a pistol and killed him in one shot.

We could hear bodyguards from all around the house.

"We need to get out of here!" I yelled.
