I cursed as the guards fired at us from downstairs and some shot at us from upstairs. I turned and fired three shots into one of the guards chest. Then I pulled out my bag and I pulled out my tommy gun. Then I yelled to the others....

"Get out of here you guys!!" I turned and fired at the oncoming guards as they tried to get to the stairs.

  I grabbed Anna and held her towards where the guards would shoot, and they stopped immediately.

"You shoot, you kill her" I said.

We slowly walked downstairs, and I held a gun to her head, threatening to pull the trigger. They dare not try to shoot us. We literally walked out the door and left, no hassle at all.

I entered my friends house, knowing everything that was going on right
now. I knew about the kidnapping and what my fiance was doing, but I
could not worry about that now, I was going to have a nice afternoon
with Laura, regardless of what Ben thinks of them.

I knocked on my friends door and she answered, "Lilly! You made it!"

We hugged, and I entered, she had made tea, well prepared on the coffee table where we would sit.

As we drank, I told how I was engaged.


"He is such a great man. He's not crazy at least, like a relative I have. Oh well. He's such a romantic man, Tom..." I say.

Then Laura says, "I have something else I need to tell you" She shows
me her hand and I see a dazzling ring on her finger. I leaped for joy
as I realized she was engaged as well. We hugged again.


"What's the man's name?" I asked.


"Fred" she says, "We met at a party, a friend of mine was having, and I
met him through the same friend. We became close, and after 6 months,
he proposed!"

I was so estatic that I asked, "When's the wedding?"


"In two weeks!" She said.

After a little more talking, we said our goodbyes and I left to my house. I was just hoping that Tom and Ben are okay.

We entered the house almost in a rush. We were worried that we were followed and that anything can happen in just one second, one blink of the eye.

We set her down in a chair tied her to it and duct taped her mouth shut.

"Damn, I can't believe we went through with it" my brother said.

"Yeah, well now what do we do?" John asked.

"Are we going to use here for ransom, or as a hostage?" Tom asked.

"Yep, that's the plan" I said.

I nodded to Ben, but then questions popped into my head...

"So where are we gonna do this, Ben? And when? We have to make a plan for the exchange, so that they can't try anything without us being prepared for it." I looked at him questionably.

"Tonight," I said, "At the pier, in one of the warehouses. If they surround the place, there is a tunnel underneath that leads to the sewers. My brother also got some nice guns for us to use"

Tom was satisfied. We were going through with this tonight.
