Although I'd agree with the disdainful tenor on the whole, seeing as the majority of supposed mobsters are incapable of following the simplest of rules; but I can't help being taken aback at the statement: "If his birth time is earlier, pump him full of hot lead." I enequivocably understand that under 48 hours means no shooting under any circumstances, but surely this does not equate to anything over that benchmark being shot instantaneously; I understand the need for gun training, but surely not everyone deserves such a fate? |

To quote a song that hasn't been written yet by a band nobody has ever heard of... "In Jersey anything's legal, so long as you don't get caught" I would guess 90% of the people taking the chance on popping these sub 48 hour gangsters are old enough souls to know better, they are just weighing the odds of getting caught against the odds of dying if they do (we all know that rules are not enforced 100% of the time, but that's another conversation). You will never stamp it out completely, just won't happen. As long as you genuinely enforce the rule whenever you get a WS (and someone you don't trust to keep schtum knows that you got it) there's little more you can do. |

| What do you say about the 50% of gangsters under 48 hours that are shooting at us? Why should we wait to get shot at by an unsponsored who had 24 hours to join a crew and is on his second 24 hours where most likely he/she still wont join a crew. My Father was shot at twice by under 48 hour olds. This rule used to exist because you needed to be gangster to join a family now you can join right away. Of course i will follow MY boss's rules regardless even though i may have my own opinion. | |

Like any rule, the 48-hour one has exceptions. If someone shoots at you, disrespects you, or otherwise acts like a general retard, shooting them is allowed, and encouraged. The rule is in place to protect the innocent. Not to give the unsponsored a free pass. |

| Well there will always be people who will try to hide behind the rules meant to protect the innocent. This is not a perfect world, and not a single one of us is perfect. Well aside from Gammy. Sorry I got off topic, but no matter what rules will be broken, people will bitch moan and complain. We can try to enforce the rules to the best of our abilities. Hell I have broken rules, and I doubt there is one person alive who can stand up and say I have never shot at a gangster under 48 hours. | |
