You could always use variables of the name MafiaTrivia Mafia_Trivia Mafiatrivia Mafia-Trivia mafiaTrivia ect ect ect as long as it differs from what Jeddy has reserved your golden |

reserved names are not case sensitive. If Jeddy has Mafiatrivia reserved then he also owns MafiaTrivia, mafiatrivia, MaFiAtRIVIA. The underscore/dash configuration is a way to get around this. Badwolf will commonly sign up as Badwolf- and -Badwolf- because he dies faster than he can use an old, unreserved, rendition of the name. |

What about not being able to reserve a character name unless you've previously used it? That way people can't just go through reserving names they've never used to piss people off, and it means people can still reserve their own favourite names. This way if someone wanted to steal names, they'd have to restart multiple times actually using those names to be able to do it, and not just click a button and have it forever. |

With how obsessed people are about linking everything to their "bloodline", I don't see what difference a choice of name actually makes. |

I agree with DeadlySin. Yes people can register their names as Maria stated, but not everyone knows that + some people are just new and didn't even consider it a possibility that someone would take their names just to be annoying. I know plenty of people who doesn't even know about reserving names until it might be too late. It is quite obvious that people like Jeddy does it to annoy others, and never really uses some of the names he reserved, but whether or not the names he (Or others) reserves are used, is not really my main problem. Some people find it important that their "main" name is used so their friends have an easier time finding them after a war etc. While it of course always is possible to find each other again, using ones known name sure makes it easier. As someone else suggested it is possible to make a small alternation to ones "main" name, incase that one is taken of course, but in theory that can still be exploited if someone was REALLY trying to annoy someone, and that is my problem with it. I am not really sure how the problem can be fixed, but the closest I come to a proper way of handling it, would probably be the idea DeadlySin presented. |

I have never understood why somebody would use the same name more than once. Just make a new legacy with a new name. |

Sometimes people like to be animals, HenrySestern. It's all in good fun though. I do agree reusing the same old names over and over again is lame, just blink and boom, you'll see the same names over and over again, life to life. |
