Strong South-West accents, Devon /Somerset always put a smile on my face

They think they built the Titanic? If that's the case then it would be the capital of Northern Ireland, not Ireland. Fuck me how dumb are some people it's been nearly 100 years since partition they are two seperate counties. It makes me laugh that you've included Irish under UK accents, I'm pretty sure there are a hell of a lot of Irish people would be very upset about that.

As for worst accent, anything English. Nuff said

Dante, I'm quite sure that Erratic by saying 'Irish' in regards to being a British accent was referring to Northern Ireland, which is in the United Kingdom hence being a British accent.

Jimmy, being Northern Irish it irks me when things like that come up. It's akin to being from Canada and being called American, if he's gonna distinguish between the different English accents why not do the same with Northern Irish and Irish because there is a big difference between the two.

As for Northern Ireland being in the UK see above where I said I'm Northern Irish.

Im Northern Irish to, and I agree theres a big difference between the accents. Only thing we both have in common is that the 2 countires can drink like a fish.

Just two things here:

First, fish don't actually drink. They take in all the water they need through their gills. Secondly, if you want to get technical about it, any country in the western hemisphere is "American".  Some people in South America get offended when we use "American" to refer to citizens of the United States of America. They are Americans, too.

Also, whilst on the topic of Irish (Northern and Southern, ra ra) accents - what the fuck are people from Cork saying, anyway?

well im from newcastle and a born and bread geordie.

brummies in general and scouse accents on women do my head in.

Scouse is pretty awful but it can be nice on women.

Cockney is just horrific though, the women sound aggressive and the men sound like nonces

Gwarble... Alot of people say it around here. We have 3 pretty large universities and a very decent arts acadamy, LIPA. With it being kind of close to Norther Ireland and easy travel means we have ALOT of Irish people in Liverpool all the time. So it's been dubbed the Capital of Ireland. Should be Capital of NI like but oh well.
