| Stop spamming me. | Started by: Mystery on Mar 23, '10 07:47 |

Mystery ran away from the jail as fast as he could, barely breaking a sweat. He'd conditioned himself lately, and despite his frequent consumption of tobacco products, his lungs were healthy. He'd just assisted in breaking someone out of jail. It was a skill he'd been honing for quite some time. Pushing some no named bastard off of the street corner, he paused for a moment and caught his breath, whilst lighting an imported cigar with his favorite lighter. Thinking back to what it was he'd come to rant about, he glanced around and wondered why everyone was giving him an odd look. Maybe it was the fact that his hands had blood on them, or maybe it was the fact that the cool crisp New York morning air had turned his face rosy red from the air whipping at it as he ran. He shrugged and then remembered what it was he came out to talk about. "Hi. Just the other day I was rummaging through my mail, and I found countless letters from people thanking me for breaking them out of jail. Now... I can almost condone this action. Spending a stint in jail is never pleasant, but I don't really find it necessary to spam my mailbox with these letters." Stopping for a moment, he sighed and continued after clearing his throat. "I didn't fucking break you out of jail to help, assist, aide, whatever you. I did it to help gain experience in jail breaking, so I can help myself stay out of jail in the future. So please, for the love of whatever God you believe in, stop being dumb-asses and thanking me for an act that I didn't do for you in the least. That is all." Mystery took a seat on the curb, amusing himself by rereading the last Gwarble Barble, and blowing smoke rings inside of each other. There was a quiet murmur around him as the businesses in New York started to open for the day. |

You may have your selfish reasons to break me out of jail but that won't stop me from being thankful. I *will* thank you if I feel like it. I won't feel ignored if you chose not to reply. You just invested way more energy in this point you're making than the energy required to just listen/read a "Thank you". |

This annoys me, too. Think about it like this...if every single person you broke out of jail sent you a "thank you" letter, we would spend all our time opening mail. If you choose to ignore how Mystery has pointed out the absurdity of this practice, well, be prepared to rot in jail instead of getting busted out. At least if I'm doing the busting. |

As implied by CrazyNine, busting someone out simply for the practice of doing so, and the beneficiary being thankful of this are not mutually exclusive. This is especially true when you yourself have bribed the local authorities to batton down the hatches and lock everyone up, only to find yourself incarcerated shortly afterwards whilst attempting to free Jono. |

Crazy, if you actually mailed me for any reason whatsoever, it would be a safe bet to say I'd reply. But we both know that's not happening. Frowns. Pucky, please do not make comments about FlyingPig. Genetically altered and foul mouthed as he may be, he's also one of the most intelligent life forms I've seen walking... flying... strutting... Moving around these parts. |

I don't really care if you thank me for busting you out of jail. But like Mystery said, I'm not really doing it for you. I'm doing it for me. But if you feel compelled to thank me, please feel free. I understand you have this need to be polite. And it's just a nice way to start up a conversation. Now that I think about it - I'd be upset if you didn't thank me. Otherwise, your ass would be sitting in jail for 10 minutes. You should thank me! And I demand that you thank me. If not, you'll just have to rot in jail...if I'm doing the busting. But don't worry too much anyway, if I'm doing the busting, you're likely to spend the time in jail anyway. I suck. |

to be honest with this given issue, I happen to express my gratitude to the one who bust me out, not because im polite or some good ass angel. Or it is my need or responsibility but to state that "thanks mate for busting me out earlier to proceed into my business" Yeah, i dont care about your selfish reasons. and mystery, that genetically improved but foul mouthed friend of yours dont want to be commented?, you dont want to give him some tough love? worse are you madly in love with his intelligence? |

Sadly, I am. The way he banters and bickers, bitches and moans, and generally just slices down those who are morons brings me to my knees and brings a tear to my eye. Sometimes I even send him flowers with a little card that says "From Layla. We met met once a long time ago." |

I am sure Don Jim-Levenstein would not enjoy his boy being called a "fucktard" either Don Dirty. We all know FlyingPig talks in his own language of swearing and intelligent growls, but be honest. I have no problem with he language of Pig personally. I'm not here to pick a fight with you, but I'll call another spade when I see one. |

You call a spade a spade, and I'll call a fucktard a fucktard. Sending someone a mail just to spite them is behavior of a fucktard. You might argue that calling me out is the behavior of a fucktard, as well. If Don Levenstein has issue with this, he can come speak to me. |

Puck smiles back as sweetly as Hershey's chocolate at DLS. Arent you a sweetie, Don DLS.. I hope your boys will be like that but unfotunately not. I dont have problem with them, I just express my viewpoints that a simple effort to express gratitude will not harm a certain liberator..About Mystery, I did not threat him to mail thank you but Id inform him that everyone who has the guts and the "kindness" to make me free from Bubba earlier is worth thanking for. As for your Right hand, I just exclaimed the truth, nothing more nothing less. Again, I dont have a problem with that because he is entitled to say everything he wants because afterall this is the streets. however his lack of manners when it comes to expressing whatever he wants to express is very agressive and like I said foul mouthed.. Puck want to invite Don DLS for a dinner, however he knows that a CL is a very busy person so he change his mind and blabbers yet again Dionysus, I dont think I dug a hole in here just merely stating my opinions. Im entitled to speak here in the streets right?, I mean A genetically improved animal is not being harmed here more so with an average human, right? Again, It is my gratitude that keeps my boys going to the post office to send love letters to all my liberators. If you got problem with that, then do what our lovely Don DLS here, Dont read it, more so trash it..I dont care, I just did what I have suppose to do. |

I'm not sure where you got the idea that just because you are standing out in the streets, that you may speak any way you wish to those who are above you in the Cosa Nostra syndicate. You are not walking around with a bulletproof force field around you, as far as I can see. I will tell you exactly the same thing that I say to those I have brought up in this thing of ours...you can say almost anything you like if you say it properly. That is a lesson that would serve you well. You should also be mindful of your audience. Some folks out there might have a high tolerance for being spoken down to or ridiculed. Others, not so much. I am one of those "others", and it crossed my mind more than once today to shoot you in the face. If you don't think I'm capable or unpredictable enough to do it, you better ask somebody. You came out here today and, after I offered my opinion, referred to me as a "whiner", then later suggested that you were in a position to offer me "tough love". Let's get something straight. You are in no position to judge me, you have nothing to offer me in the way of tutelage, and there is nothing tough about you. I don't know if you ate the biggest fucking bowl of Wheaties this morning or if your Boss sent out a mass mail saying it was ok to insult RHMs and condescend to CLs like you did to my Boss, but you should probably check yourself quickly. I don't have much patience when it comes to people calling me out. |
