In order to not hurt the girls pride he waited until she walked away to start laughing to himself, as he headed to the bar to get a drink. He loved being around her, it was like being back in Russia, American girls were so submissive. Each one of them just wanted to be holly homemaker and raise the kids as their dominant husbands worked. Boris liked women who had their own mind and spirit, who didnt take shit, and who could kick his ass if they tried enough. He procured two bottles of vodka, choosing for his honorary Russian friend. He made his way over to where she sat and put the bottle down, a grin on his face.

"I not have this much fun for too long. You are good company, you do not know, but Boris does. Sophia is Russian."

Sophia rolled her eyes at Boris, she was still a bit pissed off at being carried like a sack of potatoes through the crowd.

"I'm, in no way fucking Russian. Trust me!." She said with a bit of attitude in her voice.

Leaning down putting her head in her hand, she looked downward at the table muttering to herself. She was really quiet about it all, all that could be heard over the sounds in the bar was a bit of broken English and heavily pronounced French. After a moment of venting to herself she glared up, Boris was suckling on his bottle of vodka. He must have been thirsty cause in the moments Sophia was cooling down he had already finished half of the bottle.

"Just so you know, if you pass out somewhere. Your ass is staying there until you wake up. I hope you are aware of this, right?"

Report Post Tip

Boris couldnt understand what Sophia was saying and he didnt bother to try, if she wanted to speak to him, she would. Instead he took a sip of his vodka. Damn. It was good, way better then that shit he had been drinking before. One sip turned into a swig and before he knew it, the bottle was about halfway empty. Oops he thought, he'd need to go a little easier on the drink if he wanted to see the night through. She warned him about her passout policy and he chuckled.

"Am Russian. No pass out, just blackout. Is okay though. I can get home blacked out no problem."

Report Post Tip

With a shrug and a nod Sophia reached for the second bottle of vodka that sat beside Boris. She knew it was for her but she wasn't completely sure if she wanted to drink it. She cracked it open and gave it a sniff, the alcohol instantly burned her nose.

"Ugh, this is some strong stuff isn't it?"

Boris just smiled at her, he was used to this stuff. What is strong to her is like water to him. She hesitated for a moment, knowing that there was a good chance if she drank this bottle she was going to regret it later. It didn't matter though, she was completely aware of the company she was surrounded by. Even if she passed out somewhere, she had a feeling she would be ok. With one more sniff of the vodka which sent chills throughout her body she took a gulp. A little bit dripped down her chin as she took that sip, placing the bottle back down she wiped her lips with the back of her hand.

"Whoa...."

An instant heatwave traveled through her body.

"Not sure how much of this stuff I can drink."

Report Post Tip

Boris grinned as she took her first sip, her reaction was exactly what he had expected.

"Is okay, you go easy. If you passout, Boris will not leave you."

He gave her a joking scowl at the last part, as she made it clear that she would abandon him if the tables were turned.

"Important part is to be having good time. Russian pastime is to get drunk, and cause trouble. Is alot of fun, something tells me, you will be very good at this."

America was a bit more uptight about the whole drunk, trouble causing, especially now that they had a prohibition on alcohol. But if it was necessary, Boris would buy their way out of any trouble they got into.

Report Post Tip

"You do realize if I drink this whole bottle I will probably die. Like stand up and just fall over dead."

she watched as Boris took another big swig from his bottle.

"I don't know how you do that and function at all."

She picked up the bottle that was in front of her and took another swig. As she swallowed it she shook her head, to help with the taste of the vodka. It wasn't the best idea to do though, the moment she shook her head she instantly got disoriented. The mixture of the whiskey, wine and vodka had all finally set in. She placed both hands on the table in front of her as she took in a deep breathe.

"How strong is this stuff? I shouldn't have the spins like this already."

She closed her eyes for a moment, hoping it would help.

Report Post Tip

Boris was used to being drunk, he had been seeing two of her since he drank half of the bottle, but he was resistant to the spinning, and nauseousness, for the most part.

"Is big body, and a lifetime of drinking. Am a bit resistant, is not good when you mix liquor."

Boris blinked twice, rapidly to focus, she did look a little rough. If it were he, feeling like that, he would go to the bathroom and vomit. That always fixed everything. But he doubted the girl would do that, it was not a ladylike thing to do.

Report Post Tip

Sophia opened her eyes and stood up from the table, she grabbed the bottle of vodka and took one more tiny sip. Placing the bottle back on the table she reached for and picked up the cap to the bottle. Holding the cap in her hand she tried to fix it back onto the bottle but for some reason was having the hardest time doing so. After what felt like minutes and in a heap of frustration she chucked the cap towards the bar hitting some poor guy in the back of the head.

He thought it was the guy behind him, the guy quickly turned around getting into the other guys face. Push come to shove the me started brawling, this in turn got Boris attention. Sophia laughed and couldn't stop laughing.

"All of that cause of a bottle top."

Instantly she began to get a pain in her stomach and the room started spinning a bit faster. She went to speak again but nothing came out, though in her mind she spoke. Boris looked at her and then back at the fight that was going on, by the time he looked back Sophia was gone. She had made her way through the crowd and out the door. She was in the need of some fresh air, she needed somewhere to sit or lay which ever came first. She looked around, her vision was quite blurry and she couldn't make out where she exactly was but what she was able to make out was a park just across the way.

Stumbling across the street and almost getting hit by a car, she plopped on the first bench she saw. Laying down facing the stars, with the feeling that she was able to feel the earth moving around her.

Report Post Tip

Boris watched as the fight escalated from two to eight guys, a part of him wanted to join in on the fight, but not in present company. He turned back and Sophia was gone, he leaned over to make sure that he was seeing correctly and sure enough she was gone. He grabbed his bottle and her bottle and stood up, making his way to the door when a man threw a chair at his back, not expecting it, he nearly fell over. He dropped one bottle of vodka and spilled almost all of the other. Growling with rage he charged the man and tackled him, as soon as he was under the large Russian, he hit him with the now empty bottle, and hard. It shattered and the man went limp, drunk Boris couldn't tell if he had killed him, but he didn't care. He was not fond of being attacked, or at the wasting of good liquor. A few of the other fight participants had seen his brief fight and let him leave unmolested, he looked out and wasn't able to spot her right away. He rubbed his eyes, and focused and remembered that last time she had left she went for a bench, he spotted one across the street and made his way over there. Thankfully she was there, as drunk as she was, he found himself slightly worried for the girl. He sat down next to the bench, leaning against it. He didn't say anything but he nodded his head and let out a deep sigh. It might be time for them to take it easy, the Russian was certain now that he thought about it, that he had killed a man. Making this most definitely the most Russian date he had ever been on, and he had gone on plenty of dates in Russia.

Report Post Tip

Sophia laid on that bench silent looking up at the stars for about an hour. That's about how long it took for the earth to slow down enough for her to feel comfortable enough to get up and move around. Slowly she sat up from the bench, making sure not to move too fast. She took in a nice deep breath, she was still spinning a bit but nothing near to what she was like an hour ago.

Glancing over to her right she noticed Boris who was sitting next to the bench. He had his head propped up against in and was catching a couple of wink. Sophia lightly kicked him in the thigh trying to wake him up but he didn't respond. She tried again, a bit harder this time and called his name in the process.

"boris.... Boris...... BORIS..."

He sprung up with fists drawn as if he were ready to fight.

"Whoa, calm down big guy. It's just me....

Report Post Tip

It was a nice night out, fairly cool, and quiet. Sophia didn't make any noise, and it didn't take long for the big man to drift off to sleep. Boris was never a dreamer, if he dream't at all, he could never remember it. But every once in a while, he would have an alcohol induced dream, this was one of those instances. He dreamt of fire for some reason, a building wreathed in it, and he in it. But in the dream he wasn't afraid, he had been laughing, and then at the end he heard a voice, definitely Sophia's. He turned and seen her in the distance. boris. He heard her say, but she was far away and it was faint. He started running over to her. Boris. She got louder as he got closer. BORIS. The big man jumped up, fists out, ready to attack whoever had kicked his thigh. He looked around, gaining his bearings when Sophia told her to calm down. He dropped his fists.

"Sorry, was having weird dream. Vodka dreams are never good."

He thought about it and a large grin spread across his face. His dream had given him an idea, he was still buzzed and he was in the mood to fuck something up.

"I had dream that we set a fire to building, store maybe. Want to go get in trouble?"

Another thought crossed his mind, he distinctly remembered Sophia warning him that if he passed out that she would leave him. But it was not a pass out, he merely took a nap. Russian men did not pass out from alcohol.

"Fell asleep, no passout, but Sophia did not leave."

The girl was tough, no mistaking it, but she wasn't a bad person. She could have been true to her word and left him to sleep off his alcohol on the side of the street like a drunk, but she didnt.

Report Post Tip

"I didn't leave cause I myself just got up, did a lot of star gazing. Let me tell you, if you lay still enough you can actually feel the Earth move. Crazy shit let me tell you."

She began processing what Boris had just told her about his dream and the fire.

"Arson so you say?"

Sophia paused for a moment even though she already liked the idea. Fire infatuated her, there was just something about it that made her tingle inside. When she was younger she had found her fathers matches, needless to say the prized family throw rug got a little singed. Along with the rest of the house. Did she ever catch a beating for that one but she didn't learn.

The night was still quite early only a couple hours had passed since they had left the first bar.

"What do you have mind?"

Report Post Tip

Boris grinned, she had to be pretty drunk still, to be feeling the earths rotation. He had done some drugs before that had given him the same feeling, but he wasn't a fan of that kinda thing. Best to stick to what you know, the wine of  Russia, Vodka.

"Probably the vodka speaking. But yes. I want to set something on fire. I do not care what. Depends. Any place you dont like around here?"

The russian was too easy going to hate any establishment, he could think of a few places that would be fun to burn though. Art galleries, gun shops, furniture stores, etc.

Report Post Tip

Sophia sat back on the bench, her mind raced to think of the right location to cause some trouble at. Her head was still spinning a tad bit so the thinking part went really slow. She thought and she thought for a good 10-15 minutes before finally getting the spark she needed. She remembered a week or so back when she was walking through the streets, she came upon an art gallery. One that was owned by a smug up old man. There was a picture in the window, one like she had never seen before. It had shapes and colors, that weren't commonly used. Was just something about it that caught her eye.

She had gone into the gallery to check it but just about the moment she walked in the door she was shooed out. It was like it was yesterday, that's how vivid in her mind it was. She could remember the exact words that came out of his mouth.

"Take your filth and get out of my establishment." The words played in her head and the more she thought about it, the more infuriating it made her.

"I know exactly the place..." She grinned an evil grin.

"There's this art gallery on the corner of Michigan and Ontario. The owner was a real fuckhead. There's a picture in there I would like to hang on my wall, other then that the place is fair game."

Report Post Tip

A dark look spread across Sophia's face, giving the large man Goosebumps, she knew exactly where. An art gallery, he thought about it. An art gallery was as good of a place as any. If he were lucky, he might find a piece that would look good in the Black Bear, not too mention, there probably was a safe, filled with money.

"This works for me Sophia. We vill go to gallery."

Report Post Tip

Sophia stood up quickly, a little bit too quickly. It took her a moment to gather herself, her head was still slightly spinning. She stood there and stared straight a head letting her eyes focus. It didn't take too long and in no time she grabbed her bag off the bench and motioned to Boris.

"Well... Are you coming?"

With a nod the big man mustered up the strength to pick himself off the floor. Once she saw that he was making the effort to get up Sophia began walking. She knew that he would catch up to her, plus she generally wasn't the most patient person. She took a couple of steps and looked back over her shoulder, again it was just something that she did out of habit.

She looked over her other shoulder and out of the corner of her eye caught a glimpse of a big man. She jumped and reached into her bag for her knife, quickly she turned around with knife in hand ready to fight. That is when she saw who it was.

"Fuck Boris... you can't sneak up on me like that. You almost got cut."

Report Post Tip

Boris grinned, he did actually pride himself on his stealth. One time, while under the employ of Tommy, he was sent to fetch Amelia, who had run away. She outmaneuvered his coworker, ended up knocking him unconscious too, but the large Russian had been able to catch her and calm her down. He thought back to the wild young girl and felt bad, she, like everyone he knew, had been killed. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he replied to her.

"Is okay. Is just Boris, no cutting please. Quiet for a big guy, eh. How far till we get to place?"

He gave the tiny woman a reassuring pat on the shoulder as he sauntered up next to her.

Report Post Tip

Sophia looked up at the street sign that the two just came upon, she then looked straight ahead then down each road and scratched her head.

"Dammit, it's back the other way... I think..."

Sophia tried to get her bearing back down, usually she was pretty good with directions but for some reason she just couldn't think. It had to have been that vodka Boris had given her to drink.

"Where the hell are we?"

Report Post Tip

Boris had been blindly following her, he was new to Chicago, he had no clue. Were they lost in Detroit, he would have no issues getting them back to somewhere familiar.

"I do not know this city well. Don't think I have ever seen this intersection."

He looked around, down the street trying to spot a landmark to give him some sense of where he was but he failed. He didn't recognize either street either. He was at a complete loss.

Report Post Tip

Sophia stood there in that intersection and closed her eyes for a moment, she was trying to process their location. Suddenly it all came back to her, she knew exactly where they were and which direction they needed to go. She pointed to the left, to give Boris a sense of where they were headed. He didn't get it at first though, initially he thought she was pointing something out. Sophia just shook her head.

"We have to head that way, left 2 blocks then up 3 blocks. I got this now."

Boris just looked at her and smiled, he was a man of few words. It didn't really bother Sophia that he wasn't as vocal as most people, it was actually a nice change of pace for her. Usually when people talk too much she gets spacey, usually begins daydreaming and then loses complete track of whatever conversation they would have been having.

"Let's go!"

Sophia crossed the street and began walking, it was getting late so the streets weren't crowded at all. In fact the pair didn't see anyone for the first couple of blocks. It wasn't until they started going up that they came across someone. It was just a drunkard, passed out on the street corner.

"Some people just can't hold their liquor, can they." She laughed for a moment and then realized she had spent an hour on a park bench sobering up. She was hoping that Boris wouldn't remember that so she quickly changed the subject.

"Just a couple more blocks, if I remember correct the gallery should be up there on the right."
