She pointed to his left and he looked at her, still not certain of where she wanted him to go. When she broke it down, he was resigned just to follow the girl, and thats what he did when she declared 'Lets Go.' When they reached the drunkard, Sophia laughed and made fun of the mans constitution, Boris couldn't help but to snicker at her. He kept it low as to not offend her, as he did so he picked through the drunks pockets, relieving him of the rest of his drinking money.

"I am patient man, is okay if we are lost little Sophia."

He chuckled at the last part, giving her a warm grin to show that he poked fun not out of cruelty but out of friendship.

"Little... did you just call me little?"

Sophia rolled her eyes at Boris.

"How much did you grab from him?"

Boris held out a wad of cash to show her his winnings. Sophia glanced over, the drunkard had a bit more money then she had expected. With a slight of hands and a smile Sophia snatched the cash out of Boris hand and shoved it in her pocket.

"Thanks for the donation, Boris."

She could see the puzzled look on his face as if he couldn't believe she had just done that. She didn't do or say anything just stood there and smiled.

He couldn't help but to grin at her as she called him out on the little joke, he had grabbed around 150$ from the drunk. Idiot should have known better then to pass out with so much cash, but then Boris had fallen asleep next to that bench with far more. Before he knew what happened, she had taken his prize from him, feisty Sophia, he laughed, his deep laugh.

"This means, you buy next drink."

Report Post Tip

With a shrug and a smile she agreed, it wasn't her cash to begin with so it only seemed fair to buy drinks with it. Plus with it being $150 that's a lot of liquor, she was pretty confident that Boris couldn't drink that much. If he was able to he would be around come morning, she chuckled to herself. It was more a chuckle for the fact that someone would be stupid to drink that much, though she was pretty sure someone at some point had and now isn't around to brag about it.

Sophia motioned her head in the direction they needed to go, Boris took the hint. The pair continued down the street, only took them a matter of a couple minutes to walk the remaining distance. They finally came upon the art gallery, the same picture that caught her eye the other day was still in the window. She stared at it for a moment and imagined how good it would look on her wall.

"There it is...."

She agreed and at that Point Boris decided he would do his best to drink that wad to nothing. He was sure if he got higher quality booze it wouldn't be that hard, he was just about completely sober at this point. They carried on until they reached the art gallery, Boris intermediately began to size the place up for potential security, or easy ways in.

"You know way in?"

Sophia looked around, a well placed brick would be easy but the sound might attract some unwanted people like the police. She walked up to the door and turned the handle hoping that by some miracle it would just open but it didn't. So she got a closer look at the lock, it was one that she knew all too well. She giggled to herself for a moment, in which Boris paid no mind to.

"This is an independent lock, I will have this door opened in a heartbeat."

She ran her hand through her hair until she came across a bobby pin. "This should be about all I need." Taking the pin and bending it into the position she needed. She got down on one knee to gain better access to the lock making sure the light from the street post gave her enough light to see the locks. With a couple twists and then a pop the lock popped open.

Boris looked at the door, he could easily kick it in, but as it turned out, Sophia had more to her then he expected. Before he knew it the woman had the lock picked and the door open, what a useful skill to have. He would have to have her teach him sometime. He pushed the door open and beckoned for her to enter first, while he did one last look around to make sure there would be no surprises. The real surprise was the Sophia, however, he was curious what an art gallery could have done to offend her, and was sure he never wanted to be on that bad side.

Sophia walked in like she owned the place, she walked right over to the painting in the window and took it off its perch. Glancing at it for a moment a huge smile went across her face.

"You see this one Boris... This one is to not be touched. This one is coming home with me, got it?"

She wasn't sure if he heard her the first time so she repeated herself.

"BORIS, I don't care what you do in her but this painting right here is off limits."

Report Post Tip

"Vut if i vant that one. For my house."

Boris jokingly asked, truthfully he didn't much care for the paintings, when it came to art he liked lights. Bright things, flashy, or fast music. Art was for old rich Englishmen, and apparently women. He decided that he would go find some money, a safe or something, let her handle the art.

Sophia didn't see the humor in Boris question, even though she had an idea he was joking. The pair was still getting to know each other so there was still a bit of a barrier that needed broken. In a serious tone Sophia responded.

"If you want this one, I might just have to cut you. You know ones of those attacks you would never see coming. Like for example slice your Achilles so you can't walk. It's fucked up I know but don't mess with my painting."

Sophia smiles innocently towards Boris.

"Cut Achilles."

The large man shook his head, the girl was vicious, if she caught him off guard he knew that she would have no problem killing him, he'd have to be careful.

"Is okay."

He chuckled nervously pointing to her painting.

"Why don't you keep that one."

Report Post Tip

Sophia smiled once more

"Awe, thank you. So kind of you to let me keep this one."

She knew she would get her way, it isn't often that she doesn't. If there was ever a situation where she wanted something, Sophia usually used her charm. It was hard for people, especially guys to say no to her. If they did though, the threat or act of violence usually did the trick. Picking the painting up she held it in front of her, crooked her head and just stared at it for a moment before placing it by the front door.

"I have just the spot for that in my place."

Sophia turned around to face Boris.

"Anything in here you would like before I start making a mess?"

Report Post Tip

Boris gave her a grin, shrugging his shoulders. Art really wasn't his thing, but money was, and he was sure that a high class joint like this had something somewhere.

"I like money. Vould like to find that before we set any fires."

But to show that he was all for the destruction of the haughty art gallery, he turned and put his meaty fist through a painting that hung on the wall next to him. He hit it hard enough to where his fist went through the dry wall as well. He chuckled, ripping his hand free causing the pierced painting to come loose and clatter to the floor.
