The only sections of wall that I can see which have not been designated as some sort of replacement or renewal are the Levee wall in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, and the secondary fence in San Diego, California.

Having never been to America myself, I wouldn't know if these stretches are having a new section added, or if the section is being replaced. I would, however venture to suggest it is being renewed/replaced/reinstated/improved.

At 14 miles, the secondary fence is the larger of the two projects, and by far and away the more completed of the two - boasting to be about 3/4s finished. The Levee wall is planned to be 8 miles, and is an impressive 0.08% complete.

Although... by the looks of things, all it takes is a good gust of wind to knock down Trump's incredible "indestructable" wall, anyway.

But again, I expect you will bounce back with some massaged figures or a Trump sound bite, instead of any arguments with substance, facts or evidence.

Cinnamon, it's important at moments like this not to be too harsh on Monroe.  Whilst it's difficult and frustrating to deal with persons like him, it's best to keep in mind that it isn't really his fault.  I have a degree in politics, and this, coupled with other of my studies, came to realise that not every right-wing person is a gullible snowflake.  Yes, they are generally incurious and easily fooled.  Yes, they prefer the bland and familiar to the new and exciting.  Yes, they are far more likely to have an unfulfilled sex life.  Yes, they often don't understand what they speak of.  But I firmly believe that, in their backwardness, they actually are of benefit to a liberal society.

You see, they are so convinced of how right they are, that it makes us liberal intellectuals research their points so that we can better dismiss them.  I have found that rebutting right-wing viewpoints is an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of successfully educating children up to the age of eights, which is an area of study I am now undertaking. 

One should never seek to agitate the right-wing person - they respond negatively to this, because they are generally angry anyway, and emotionally backwards.  And one shouldn't really challenge their opinions with obvious facts - they are, unfortunately, completely immune to logic.  They are emotional people, with loyalty that could match any Labrador.  Labradors are fine animals, and we should do well to keep this in mind the next time we want to metaphorically kick a right-winger.

After all, would you kick a Labrador?
