Well now let's once again call for you to be specific rather than random wild comments here....who in my crew do you take issue with for either conduct or words? |

I take issue with you tellurium the issue I have is the lack of presence that the community sees from you we do not hear good things coming from your family we only see the negative and instead if changing that you merely sit idly by |

Again I ask you to be specific, which members of my family do you have an issue with and for what reason? You also contradict yourself you say I sit idly by and that also I only come out to discuss family or Philly matters so which is it? |

Well you see Quarantine that's why it's called a free city. If you don't want to contribute in this discussion that's their choice. It's their choice if they want to contribute to the community and say their thoughts and their choice alone. Not yours, not mine, not anyone's choice but their own. I'm listening to what you're saying, I'm hearing it, I understand where you are coming from and I've already made my point clear from before so I'm not going to keep repeating myself or anything so let me just say this to your last post, it's freedom of choice to want to contribute. That's all it is. I'm sure they are aware of the benefits of contributing to the community and who knows maybe they will. It's a new thread give them a chance to yet. Maybe they will say something maybe they wont. Freedom of choice, we all have the freedom to choose our own actions. In the end it's individual choices regardless off how small or big that makes this great world of ours spin around. Take it or leave it. |

Apparently you have no ability to hear where I said I take issue with you, and sitting idly by to only come out and do damage control does not count as contributing to the community in my books so one can still sit idly by and cover their ass in the time of fear of repercussions
To not sit idly by one must be more well known in these streets than just coming saying sorry and going back in a hole
And incase you still didn't hear what I said I said u take issue with you |

fist-o-pain one of the stipulations of the free city as laid out is they MUST contribute to the community to partake in the free city project these guidelines were laid out by roboakheart christiangato nakamura they plainly state in order to recieve protection you MUST contribute to the community |

So it is not their choice to contribute to the community or not they signed up for the free city so they MUST accept the rules of the project |

I apologize for going off topic but I'd like to clear one thing up. Quarantine, you really haven't the foggiest clue what you're talking about. Chibs didn't feel forced to step down. He felt it was better for his city if he did. He easily could have stayed up had he wished to. However, he couldn't put in the effort he always strove for and he didn't feel he was benefiting his city. He's the kind of guy to put 110% effort into leading. He wasn't capable of doing so and thus he abandoned his HQ. Perhaps you should learn all the facts before you come out here spewing bullshit. |

I heard....sadly it appears you have selective hearing...I have now asked 3 times for specifics on what any member of my family have done and to offer a response and you have not been forth coming. I have to attend to my crew now this conversation is merely designed to be provocative and serves no useful purpose so my time is better spent elsewhere... To accuse a crew leader - a Don - of only coming to talk only to defend without proper research and talking in a way that is deliberately designed to achieve the thing you claim is infantile and I won't stoop that low.
goes back to her lovely crew |

I don't really see where you are coming at and you seem to not even be able to stay on track to your own discussion so i will skip to the only part I am curious about. Demolish the sheer amount of bloodshed, Jesus Christ man we are not freaking girl scouts selling ginger snaps at the local church. It amazes me when I hear this, and other statements. Majority is to keep the peace and prosper all around. Yet at the end of the day we are criminals. Zero tolerance is a failed barbaric take to anything as no two incidents will be the same and do not merit the same reactions depending on different people. So your Idea is to burn the whole place to the ground when one person gets out of hand? So your brother steals a pack of fags from the local market and your solution is to gun down and lock up the entire family? |

This is an utter train wreck and I am so confused. Can someone tell me when it became ok for a made man from one city to openly call out a Don crewleader from another city repeatedly about his personal distaste of how the crewleader handles his or her affairs? I'm honestly seriously confused. Whether the crewleader is from a 'free' city or not... Whether we are in a period of open and free discussion in the streets etc etc doesn't matter. This is where Lancelot discussion the other day comes from. Things like this. Yes, it is OK to question and debate those who are of a higher rank than you, but not like this... Never like this. Kurgan is a decent and fair crewleader and that shows in the way he has allowed you to carry on trying to get your point across here in the spirit of the world they are trying by to build and encourage people out in to the streets but even someone as patient as Kurgan will have his limits, I'd be surprised if you're not close to crossing that limit. I personally have seen Tellurium in these streets quite of often. Whether that's for damage control or whatever else you claim it to be doesn't matter. The fact is Tellurium doesn't have to utter a word here if they don't want to. Yes it would help them progress in this world considering the circumstances surrounding their boldship but still, the fact remains that if they don't want to they don't have to. So, what makes you think that you are right and they are wrong? What makes you think that you know better? What makes you think that just because you believe that Tellurium is one thing or another, that that is fact and what everyone should believe? When really, as a made man under Kurgan, your opinion on Tellurium doesn't necessarily mean much. It's those that are currently in power and have the decision making power that gets to decide whether the leaders of the 'free' cities are actually worth any salt? |

Bjorn had been standing in the back, not fully sure what all this discussions had been about. For many of the reactions had been very brief and it was hard to focus on the constant switches between speakers. Often he heard comments that he could not reflect on for they had not stuck to his mind to broaden his view on this topic. But looking at a few known faces such as Kurgan, BobbyMunson and the original topic starter Quarantine he felt he could share his view on the original opening subject regarding the status of the free cities and their worth to the community.
As we all know, the free cities came in a time of need after a rather apocalyptic period. Whether you think it was the right call or not, whether it has been a success or not it did give a new dynamic to our society. In my father's journal I read some observations on a country only half filled with cities breaking out of their edges due to the sheer size of the organized crime in those cities. Many talents were under utilized and often not even recognized. This lead to a lot of unhappiness and was managed by pulling rank based on experience, the size of journal libaries and sheer force and power. In this society my father has seen what he dubbed real rogues. Men or Women of crime that for the sole reason of boredom and/or amusement shot random targets of 1 specific city or more. In my rain as a CL I do not believe I have seen may rogues let alone any that have been successful. Luxuria is the only family lead that I have seen dying that was not based on a genuinely felt slight or turf war. This in my opinion thus means the initial discussion started in this square is not in line with reality. Looking at the broader picture here where my fellow family heads i named earlier have come to enlighten an apparently less informed person is a product of the new society, whether they are free city located or not. Yet you, quarantine, do not deem to value their responses greatly seeing your reactions coming after. Personally I felt not your wording but the type of reactions you gave to mostly the participants coming from LA was in a tone i personally would be discussing had you been my associate.
In conclusion, I do think the free cities have had merits for their adventurous men and women to hone their skills and learn the ways of leading families or fending for themselves. Also the required need to add to the community is indeed not felt by every leader, free city or not. But like has been said time and time again, it is a choice of that family lead and potentially can lead their family in a dangerous situation if they do get out of favor and get attacked. Yet the favor system is just a system, and your personal skills as a leader and how you navigate relationships can avoid any attacks, rendering your favor status non-important |
