As you're passing through downtown Detroit you notice advertisements everywhere, you take a closer look at the sign that reads "Now open, The Royal 313, located on the corner of 10th Street and W Jefferson Ave."

Out of curiosity you make your way towards the address to see what all the buzz is about. As you reach the end of 10th Street and bang a left onto W Jefferson Ave you immediately see a brand new brick building where a once vacant lot stood. As you scope out the exterior a bit more you start to notice the architectural detail behind the whole establishment. You see a decorative flower bed in front of a curved paved area that circled the entrance, making it easy for vehicles to drop guests off. As you take a closer look you also notice a few workers in red vests who offer to park your car for you. Before making your way inside you notice on last unique detail that catches your eye, an outdoor seating area with multiple tables, on each table you see white table cloths with fresh cut roses and a lit candle, you can see the water in the distance as it made for a great view during your dining experience. As you look out at the water you see large boats filled with passengers, big billboards and buildings on the other side of the river.

After viewing the exterior you decide to make your way for the entrance. As you draw close to the oversized wood door with glass in the center of it, you catch a small glimpse of the inside before a gentlemen dressed in a white tux opens the door for you and says "welcome to The Royal 313."

Once inside, you notice tables that replicated the ones outside, all these tables were off to the right side of the restaurant. As you look to your left you see a coat room and a small wood podium where the host stands, waiting to seat you. As you pass the podium you see a decorative archway that leads to the grand piano room, which is where the bar is located. As an older gentlemen plays the piano you take a closer look at the bar, you notice along the back is multiple tiers of glass shelves holding all types of liquor and the finest wines available. You notice some booths off to the right side, and a wine tasting that you may participate in. After taking in the beauty of the grand piano room you make your way back into the restaurant area. As you walk through the place and reach the back, you notice a sign that reads "Restrooms."

Finally you look off to the right and see a hallway, however there is a sign on the wall that reads "Employees only". If you were to go beyond that point you would find a office for the manager, a bathroom for staff, a doorway that leads to the kitchen, and a staircase that went to the basement.

After touring the whole place you walk outside one last time to look at this unique yet architecturally brilliant establishment, that radiates excellence, you can sense that this is the greatest dining experience you will receive in all of Detroit.

After being seated you will be handed a menu, this menu will consist of the following.

-Steaks

-chicken

-veal

-pork

-pasta, all kinds

-seafood, all kinds

-famous Italian dishes

-soups, mostly Italian and chicken

-coffee,juices and different flavors of soda

-alcohol of all kinds

Vito Arrives at the new restaurant that he was asked to appear at.  He heard it was a new place owned by a couple of family members of his.  He walks in and sees the host.  He walks up to the host and says

"Good evening, I'm here to see Darmody, could you get him for me please? I'll be waiting for him over at the bar."

Vito is shown toward the bar where is and he heads over there and has a seat at the bar where he orders a glass of scotch and waits for his friend to arrive.

Receiving word that Vito had arrived, I made my way for the bar, I take a seat and order a whiskey. "Good to see you Vito, place came out good no?, Sofia will be offering her finest wines here. And Ms. KateLogan really backed this place, which made it all possible."

The bartender places our drinks on the counter, I take a sip and continue speaking with Vito.

"Anyway ill get to point, reason I called you here, besides to just see the place was to offer you a role in the establishment. How do you feel about Manager?".

I take another sip of whiskey and wait for Vito's answer.

Vito receives his drink and takes a sip.

"Yeah this place is a real gem you got goin' on here.  A beautiful set up.  Glad to see you guys really got it up and running"

He takes another sip as he listens to Darmody's offer of a managerial role. 

"Well ya know I'm honored to receive such an offer to work in such a fine establishment. Ya sure you want me to be you guy's manager?  This is a nice place I'm sure you can hire a nice suit to help you run this place."

Vito then pulls out a cigarette and sticks it in his mouth, He does some more contemplating as he lights up and takes a drag.

"But if youse are sure I'm the guy you want then I'll humbly accept."

I sip my whiskey, then place it down on the bar top.

"Yea the place is fancy but I have confidence you can handle it, wouldn't offer if I had any doubts. Besides I can't hire a law abiding manager, not in our kind of world, couldn't imagine the fucking headache that would bring. I want to keep this place as much in the family as possible so if you want the job its yours."

Vito nods in agreement as he listens to Darmody's response.

"You got a point there my friend.  Well alright then, we're gonna need more drinks to celebrate you're opening and my new job.  But not too much though. We got work to do."

Vito laughs as he finishes off the rest of the scotch in his current glass

"Ah no worries there Vito, I'm suppose to meet with Ms. KateLogan here tonight, so a few drinks should do it."

The bartender brings over a few shots and places them in front of both me and Vito. I raise my glass before saying "Here's to you Vito, and your new position as manager. And also to The Royal 313!".

Vito takes a shot glass and clinks it with with Darmody's 

"To the Royal 313 and also to you and Sofia.  May the restaurant be a great success. Salut."

Kate looks a bit flustered and shaken as she steps out of the car that had driven her to the Royal 313. She slams the car door behinds her and waves it away as she approaches the wooden door, opened by someone in a white tux. 

Entering the place, she looks around for Darmody.

After having a smoke out back I walk back into the restaurant, as I go into the back door I see Ms. KateLogan standing at the entrance. After a few seconds our eyes meet as we notice each other almost simultaneously, I walk over to the entrance near the podium where she was standing.

"Ms. Logan, good to see you, shall we sit down?." 

Kate cracks her neck, removing her hands from the pockets of her jacket.

"Nice to see you as well, James. And sure, let's sit down. You can tell me about the place and your plans for it."

Me and Ms. Logan take a seat in the back so no one listens to our conversation, upon sitting down a waiter walks over and asks me and Ms. Logan would like.

"Ladies first Ms. Logan."

The waiter hands her a menu.

 Kate scans the menu for a few moments.

"Something light tonight. Shrimp scampi. White wine."

She leans back in her chair, surveying the various diners.

"Please seems busy. You've done some good work here."

"Yea place is not doing bad, nice to see hard work pay off." I look to the waiter and say "I'll have steak, medium well and some whiskey."

After the waiter walks away I look to Ms. Logan.

"So my plans for the place, well I want to profit as much as possible so it not only benefits my pockets, but yours as well. I got Vito managing the place and we have Sofia running the bar, place should pull in good money. Of course I'm always curious to hear your suggestions."

Kate listens as Darmody starts outlining his plans.

"Sounds like it's a true family venture, Darmody. Eventually, we may find some... extralegal means to add to our profits here or benefit the family. Maybe run some money through it. But for now, I'd like to keep it as straight as we can. Keep it as a meeting place, ya know?"

The waiter places our orders down on the table, as we both thank him he walks off.

"I completely agree with you Ms. Logan, no need to rush anything, in the time the place will get bigger and bigger and the profits will increase. For now I would say getting people in the door is the most important thing."

Kate tucks into her shrimp scampi; she eats voraciously, having skipped her last couple meals.

"I agree. You've done some good work here, James. And the shrimp is excellent. How's your meal?"

Bishop poked his head in through the door to take a look at the new restaurant in town.

"Fancy place..." he muttered quietly before looking down to his attire. "Maybe a wee bit too fancy fer me." He laughed and trudged in anyway.

As a host came to meet him, he pointed towards an arched entryway, "Jus' gonna go an have a seat over there, lad. Bar seems tha best place fer tha likes o' me." With a nod, the host guided him towards the piano room and bar. Pulling a dollar from his coat, he handed it to the man and shooed him back to his station, "T'anks lad. Oh! They go' a piano. Hav'nae played one o' those since I been in Ireland... Fockin' grand it is!"

Bishop made his way over to the ivory-key beauty and struck a middle 'C' chord, dancing on it lightly. "Ohhh, an' she's tuned nice an' sweet too." He whistled in satisfaction before moving away and taking a seat at the bar. "Shot o' whiskey, an' a pint o' stout," he directed to the bartender as he sat.

"Steak is good, I guess I hired the right chef, and I appreciate the compliment Ms. Logan, I told you if you gave me a shot I would make sure you didn't regret it."

As I take a sip of Whiskey I notice a man walk in and get seated at the bar. I heard his accent briefly and it sounded familiar, I just couldn't remember where I had heard it before.

"Did you see the guy who just came in?, heavy Irish accent, I swear I heard that somewhere before".
