The crowd had finally settled down and after a lengthy interlude all the fans had returned to their seats with various snacks and drinks. Isabella had brought everyone a pitcher of drinks and had also ordered some nacho's. Sadly, HighPitchEric decided he wanted to stick his big meaty claws into the pile of chips and after that nobody really had the stomach to eat them. Somebody would need to teach that boy some etiquette and hygiene Fitz thought to himself. As the beer started flowing nicely The Announcer stepped out into the ring for the 4th time that evening. "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, ARE YOU READY FOR FIGHT NUMBER FOURRRRRR? IN THE RED CORNER FIGHT OUT OF NEVADA, LAS VEGAS, IT'S CAMILLA "THE CHOSEN ONE" BALISTRERIIIIIIIIIII. AND IN THE BLUE CORNER, FIGHTING OUT OF PHILADELPHIA IT'S "THE IMMORTAL" JEEEEEEZEBELLLLLLLLL.
The crowd were excited for this one and both fighters glared at one another from opposite sides of the cage! The interlude had done nothing to quench the thirst for blood that this crowd had and several shouts of "KILLLLLLLL HIMMMMM" and "FUCK THEM UP" could be heard over the noisy crowd. The fight got underway when a huge kick landed into the face of The Chosen One and Camilla fought back, giving as good as they got. Within the first minute Jezebel looked comfortable, throwing the majority of shots and landing them, they certainly looked to pack more power than what Camilla was able to throw in response and maybe Camilla knew this as a quarter way through the first, The Chosen One scored a take down and proceeded to display some ground and pound action, it took Jezebel some time before the fighter could find their feet but once up The Immortal seemed weary of further take downs and began backing off. Suddenly the whole fight shifted and Camilla was on the front foot, tracking down Jezebel and managed to deliver several brutal shots, knocking down Jezebel and eventually applying a submission. Jezebel was stubborn though and the fighter wouldn't tap out!!! Eventually Jezebel's arm did rise, but whether it was to tap out or to attempt to get out of the hold the crowd wouldn't know as Jezebel was knocked unconscious due to a lack of oxygen. The fight was over and Camilla "The Chosen One" Balistreri was victorious. The crowd hadn't expected that one and as the fighters arm was lifted in their air in victory, the Las Vegas crowd went absolutely crazy for one of it's own!!!! |

Tony stared in amazement " Holy shit he done nearly killed the little homie that fight was incredible ! " Tony listened to the crowd roar with excitement they had truely been given something to cheer about " if I ever go up against that guy I'll have to avoid going to ground entirely... its funny tho cause I can't help be feel even more excited for my fight, win or lose this competition is too intense to miss ! " Tony made his way to the gym to have a warm up session eagerly awaiting his match |

The recent knockout had got the crowd talking and with the son of the old finalists about to step into the ring the crowd was buzzing once more, many people mistook Tony for his father, Bob and it wasn't until Bob was killed that people stopped mistaking the two. A genius within the ring and a fighter that Disorder had dubbed as one of the toughest mother fuckers he had ever fought, it appeared that Tony had taken on a similar style to his father and despite it being a Vegas crew leader that he was going up against, many of the fans were routing for the young guy with the red hair. As the two fighters made their way into the ring, the announcer stepped out to introduce the two men who would be duking it out for a spot in the quarter finals. "IN THE BLUE CORNER WE HAVE THE SON OF THE FORMER FINALISTS, BOB MARLEY" At this the crowd began roaring with approval "HE COMES WEIGHING IN AT 205 LBS AND STANDS AT 5 FEET AND 8 INCHES, IT'S TONY "AWESOME" MARRRRRRRRLEYYYYYYY" Again the crowd began to roar with excitement, if this guy was anything like his father then we were all in for a show here at the MGM Grand tonight. Disorder in particular was cheering the loudest from the Vegas contingent and despite another Vegas leader being in that ring too, Fitz refrained from telling his man to keep it down, as he knew from that final both fighters had left a lot in the ring and had the ultimate respect for one another and Disorders respect had extended to Bob's son, Tony. "AND IN THE RED CORNER, WEIGHING IN AT 205LBS AND STANDING AT A HEIGHT OF 5 FEET AND 10 INCHES, IT'S...
...SAUL "THE WARRIOR" HUDDDDDDSONNNNNNNNN" The Vegas contingent once again went crazy as they cheered on one of their own leaders. Slash was a popular leader within Vegas and had built a great district inside of Summerlin. "If Tony is anything like his old man, he should win this." Disorder stated. "Saul looks up for this one though and he's a right tough fucker, I once saw him chew a pint glass because he was hungry." Fitz replied.
Whoever won this, it promised to be an entertaining fight.
The opening seconds saw Tony living up to his name as he delivered a spinning back kick to the mid section of The Warrior, much like his father, Tony was a very technical fighter. Tony delivered several more kicks and seemed to be trying to keep his opponent at bay with his wide range of kicks. However, Saul replied in kind and delivered a huge front kick to Marley's face. The round continued at a fast pace and both men were displaying their technical prowess, particularly with their kicks but it was Marley who was landing the most shots and he managed to open up a small cut above The Warrior's right eye early one. If that got worse that really could cause problems for the Vegas fighter. Mid way through the round, Marley manage to get his opponent onto his back and began raining down blows into the face of Saul. Saul would need to do something or this fight would be over fairly soon. Managing to get the fight back to it's feet Saul again tried to match Marley's technical ability with his kicks but Marley seemed to be outdoing his opponent and his timing was perfect. Towards the end of the round Marley scored another takedown and attempted a submission on Hudson, The Warrior managed to quickly slip out of it after a brief exchange on the ground, the bell finally rang to signal the end of the round. "That round definitely went to Marley, he fights like his dad, for sure. His timing is amazing, I'm not sure how Hudson can beat this kid but he'll need to up his game in the second!" This was from Scipio and the rest of Fitzy's crew agreed, Hudson needed to pull something out of the bag here. Round 2 started much the same as the first and both fighters continued to use their feet and when Saul went to land a shot to the mid section of Marley, the latter managed to parry this away and deliver a solid blow of his own, taking the wind out of the Vegas fighter briefly. Further trades of kicks and once more, Marley found the mid section of his man again and winded The Warrior who stumbled backwards clutching his stomach and ribs, maybe he had broken something he really seemed to be struggling now. This fight as Marley's unless Saul could do something dramatic. Later in the second round The Warrior changed up his style and tied his opponent up in a clinch, from there he began to deliver knees to his opponent that appeared to be causing some damage to Marley. Tony tried to get on the inside of the clinch but The Warrior was too strong here, again Hudson delivered several knees to his opponent and then out of nowhere a HUGE knee to the face followed by another to the body. That was that, Marley was down, Marley was down and he wasn't getting back up. Several ribs appeared to be broken and the referee quickly intervened and stopped the fight. A shocking twist to a fight that looked certain to be Marley's. Saul had won but the crowd gave respect to both fighters with a standing ovation.
"AND WINNER BY KNOCKOUT IS...
.... SAUL "THE WARRIOR" HUDDDDDSONNNNNNN"
"Wow, what a fucking fight, did you see the power in those knees?" Isabella asked "Yeah, those were pretty fucking brutal, the next guy he fights better wise up to that shit" Scipio responded While everyone spoke about the fight and how it was currently up for the fight of the tournament award, HighPitchEric was grumbling about stomach pain, not only had he eaten the nachos from the crews table but he had managed to sneak in some of his home made sandwiches. How old they were nobody knew but they smelled anything but fresh. Fitz declared that if he began eating them at the table that he would see to it personally that HPE would go on toilet cleaning duty within the crew HQ for the next month. Horrified by the thought of doing any form of manual labour, Eric had taken himself off to the bathroom to finish his sandwich and had returned in a pale and clammy state. Ignoring the moans and grumbles of his member, Fitz asked if anyone knew anything about the next 2 fighters, the general consensus was that nobody really knew them, so again this one was anyone's. |

After finally coming to his senses Tony got up disappointed after realizing he had lost in the very first round... he tried his best to live up to the reputation of his father but unfortunately he just didn't cut it... looking up at Saul he felt bitter but knew Saul was stronger physically and that alone resulted in his undoing.
" Great match Slash I gave you a run for your money but those knees are straight concrete I'll leave the rest to Chong and BrotherHec I know they'll kick some ass ! "
Marley saluted his fans sadden by the thought of letting them down but knew that this was just the beginning... |

After what was regarded as one of the fights to watch of the tournament, the action moved to two men seated cage side. The Vegas boss and MGM Grand owner and operator was a busy man, busy but ambitious. He wasn’t satisfied with just keeping things ticking over. He had one eye continuously scanning the money making horizon and a mind relentlessly scheming for ways to improve his enterprise, which led Fitz to start MGM Grand Broadcasting, a radio company to cover live commentary for various sports events held at the MGM Grand Casino. We join the commentary team cage side as the fighters for the sixth fight begin to make their entrances.
Two commentators can be seen seated close to the action at a table, both in front of their own microphones. The sometimes deafening sounds of the crowd had both men needing to cup their hands around the sound equipment just so they could get a clear message through to their many listeners. The place had been rocking all event thus far, and with the upset 2nd round KO of the crowd favourite, the Vegas Casino erupted for one of their locals. The joint was still abuzz, yet after a brief break in the action it simmered down somewhat. The action resumed on the air waves as John ‘Bulldog’ Scalise stepped into the caged centre stage to a generous cheer. Frank The Tank: “John ‘Bulldog’ Scalise makes his way into the cage in the blue corner. The Detroit fighter stands at five foot eleven and weighs in at two hundred and five pounds. It’s his first fight so you’d assume he’d be looking to make a statement.” Goldberg: “I like the look of this guy. I mean both men are making a debut tonight so anything can happen, but if I had to put some money down it would be on this guy.” The larger of the two men, Goldberg, actually did put money on this fight, he did for all the fights and of course as any gambler did, he had a reason behind his pick. In this case, being both fighters he knew largely nothing about, he flipped a dice for each fighter and went with the highest number. John bounced around the cage a bit, getting a feel for it. He soaked in the atmosphere yet there was a definite jeering of boos from the many Chicago fans in attendance. The city had a stack of fighters in the event representing one of the major hubs of activity in the nation, and many fans showed there support by turning up in droves. As Mike "Bad Intentions" Dilingrt stepped into the cage and waved to them they kicked off again. FTT: “This is crazy, listen to that noise as Mike ‘Bad Intentions’ Dilingrt comes to the cage. Only at MGM Grand Casino do you get that kind of experience folks, so make sure to come down for the next event and be a part of it!” G: “It’s a great fuckn vibe Frank, without a doubt!” FTT: “Dilingrt is fighting in the red gloves and stands five feet eight, weighing two hundred and five pounds. I think if he’s able to work his way inside and keep the pressure up he’ll be in with a good chance.” G: “Scalise definitely has the reach advantage, we’ll have to wait and see if he can utilize it.” FTT: “Well we won’t be waiting long as the ring announcer introduces both fighters to the crowd. Goldberg you have an aggressive style, how should Dilingrt approach this.” G: “Well he has to keep pushing the action and being the first one in and the first to throw. He has to keep the fight close and cut off the angles. And if he can work the clinch, even better.” As the fight commentators kept the broadcast flowing, the ring announcer at the Casino went through his usual routine, introducing both men in their respective colours to the crowd. Both men played up to their fans and the general fight fan collective when it was their turn, before tapping gloves. The bell rang out to start the first round. The first few exchanges went the way of Scalise as he hit his range early with some nice combinations, mixing in punches and kicks. One combination ended with a solid left uppercut after an equally thunderous hook. FTT: “Nice combination. Scalise making the most of things early here. Both men landing yet… Oh! Solid left hook then left uppercut from bulldog who’s looking good to start this round on point with these exchanges. Scalise a little more accurate so far.” G: “Solid shots! Dilingrt needs to move his head more. He’s trying to get in there though.” FTT: “Both fighters back off and give some distance. They look at each other, waiting for the other to attack. Right hook, left high kick lands for Dilingrt.” Goldberg cuts in over the top. G: “Big shots!” After a solid two hit combo from bad intentions, bulldog gets low and drives through a takedown, landing in dominant top position. G: “Look at that takedown, textbook!” FTT: “Fight now on the ground with Scalise on top raining down some ground and pound.” G: “He’s got a decent position. Let’s see if he can pass into mount.” FTT: “Back to guard. Dilingrt pushes out and they scramble to their feet. They exchange a few punches. Dilingrt kicks; nice take of the leg there from Scalise, and a trip takedown.” G: “Well executed! That’s now his second takedown of the fight.” FTT: “Some short punches on top from one of Detroit’s own, then a scramble and once again back to their feet as we approach three minutes into the first round. He’s bringing home the goods thus far.” G: “Bulldog really is looking sharp out there.” For a period both men engage in a Thai clinch, each getting in a few good knees to keep things lively. At this point in the fight anyone watching or listening in may have been picking a romp for the Detroit bulldog, but he had yet to do anything really substantial, and a gap looked to open up for the bad man, the ‘bad mother fucker’, Samuel ‘bad intentions’ Dilingrt. FTT: “Let’s see if Mike can turn things to finish the round strong.” G: “Oh shit, what a right kick to the face by Scalise! Ninja quick! And a low kick! And a mid-kick! He’s really turning it on for the crowd right now! A superman punch!! Ohhhh…. Just missed!” FTT: “Here we go, takedown by dilingrt who’s now on top looking to strike. Oh look at that speed into side control, nice transition there by bad intentions.” G: “What can he do here Frank, let’s see if he can do some damage like his name suggests, let’s see if he has the eye of the fuckn tiger!” FTT: “Both fighters scramble to their feet and the fight resumes standing.” The action drops off a little. Some strikes here and there, nothing hectic, and then they hug it out for a while. Maybe a little while longer than two men wanting to kill each other should be hugging. Dilingrt eventually gets control but that just gives his opponent an opportunity to showcase his submission game, sort of, or maybe it was a way to get his opponent to smell his crutch, because nothing more than that came of it. The round comes to a close. FTT: “And the round pretty much teeters out with Mike ‘Bad Intentions’ Dilingrt finishing stronger than he started, but, would it be strong enough to take the round away from Scalise?” G: “I don’t think so, I still have bulldog ahead with his dominant start. Dilingrt has a bloodied eye and no fuckn tiger! Round Scalise!” FTT: “I have to agree. Scalise has landed more, he’s thrown more, his kicks have been dynamite. He’s two successful takedowns to one, although Dilingrt did win some scrambles on the ground to hold some dominant positions. Who knows what round two will bring folks, and if it starts as this round ended we may just have a fight on our hands!” G: “No doubt, this is far from over. MGM Grand Broadcasting will be back soon with round two, so get yourself a smoke, some liquor, and stay tuned!”
After round 2 is over, Frank The Tank and Goldberg recap with some highlights. FTT: “Round 2 was actually a very even round until Scalise went down again from a knee then somehow immediately got up to launch a beautiful spin kick, once again putting his world class Taekwondo on display.” G: “It was masterful and the secret samurai was nearly as good to end the round too. The bulldog got his third successful takedown, making that 3 of 4 for the fight. Then to finish he pulled out déjà-vu similarly spectacular jumping head kick! Strong round for Scalise again Frank.” FTT: “I have him up two rounds to one going into the final round. His team from the automobile capital should be pleased with their flashy striker, and feel very confident going into the final. Dilingrt on the other hand will need somewhat of a miracle.” Various advertisements play while fighter maintenance takes place, each corner attending to their hopeful money makers. After the ring girl did her thing to entice the Richard’s and Johnson’s in the crowd, round 3 kicked off to determine just who would be the one to go forward. The commentators then gave a rundown on how things played out. G: “As with the start to the second, Dilingrt came out the aggressor with his striking and eventually managed a trip takedown and got in some solid ground and pound before enticing Scalise back to his feet, yet seconds later another big high kick from Kung Fu bulldog nearly knocked Dilingrt’s head clean off!” FTT: “A strong double leg takedown for Scalise added to his dominance not just with striking but also wrestling as he managed a cool 80% takedown success rate. Overall I think he showed his dominance in most areas, he just wasn’t able to finish his opponent.” G: “And we finished with a spinning back kick with a counter hook that had the crowd buzzing with 30 seconds to go. I see it the same way Frank, yet we also have to give it up for Dilingrt. He showed a solid chin and heart to withstand some world class striking.” It was an obvious decision from the commentator’s table. The pair discussed how they thought it was a sweep for the victor and the judges decisions to follow were unanimous also, choosing Detroit’s finest, John ‘Bulldog’ Scalise the victor and sending him through to the next round! The winner does a quick interview with a reporter as the two fighters leave the cage, all the while the next bout's participants go through their final preparations before their own fight begins. The live radio broadcast takes a five minuet break where more advertisements for MGM Grand and local Las Vegas businesses fill the commentary void. |

There was a brief interlude between the sixth and upcoming seventh fights. Fitz and his ever large posse of Vegas ‘businessman’ were discussing the events that came to be. He was disappointed at the lack of killer instinct from both fighters, as he loved a good finish. A good fight more so, but entertainment is what kept the fans packing into the MGM casino, and with this being the second tournament held here, he was hopeful the next fight would have a little more aggression. I mean, who the fuck likes tuning into a long fight that doesn’t have one fighter knocked the fuck back to preschool. Call it the Archie five finger shuffle, or simply one man’s ticket to the next round, whatever the case, the fans loved to see a bloodied unconscious body by way of knock out. The ring announcer made his way into the cage, the fighters having already made the stock standard health and safety checks, and are in there with him. It’s a wonder this was being run this well at this time, given the brutality and criminality of the masses outside the nation renowned Las Vegas casino. Such was the game… the fight game.
“INTRODUCING FIRST, IN THE BLUUUUUE CORNER, FIGHTING OUT OF CHICAGOOOOO…” The crowd erupt for one of their own, deafening the arena. The sentiment is returned by Erica with a wave of the right glove in the air. A few sprints back and forth in front of the team begin. “ERIIIIIIIICAAAAAAAA ‘SIIIIIIILKYYYYYYY’ WIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLDDDDDDE!” Another fist pump to the crowd from Silky and a few stretches in the form of squats keep her warming up and throwing off any nerves. “FIGHTIINNNNNNG OUT OF THE REEED CORNER, ALSO REPRESENTING CHICAAAGOOOOO! ITSSS ‘THE NIGHTMAREEEE’ VIIIIIIIKKTOOOOOORRRRR KUUUUUUURGANNNN!” Kurgan gives a bow in each direction, like a martial artist before he enters his dojo, showing his respect and appreciation for both the fans and the fight game. After he finishes, he begins limbering up his shoulders and arms with some shadow boxing. Both fighters ready themselves, now looking right at one another from the opposite sides of the world’s first MMA fighting cage. They are directed to be at a distance by the referee as the announcer finishes making himself scarce. The bell rings and both warriors move forward and tap gloves. Frank The Tank: “Welcome to all the fight fans around the nation as we resume the action. Goldberg I have to ask, who do you fancy for this fight?” Goldberg: “Frank, just look at the fuckn difference in those two, would you? How can I not fancy the beastly looking Kurgan. It’s a definite mismatch in height, and reminds me of last tournaments final. All I have to say is, get ready for ‘The Nightmare’!” Frank laughs, yet inwardly agrees. How could you not pick the bigger opponent, especially after the last fight when Scalise showed why reach advantage does play a part on how well one may or may not do, that and his super human acrobatics. Both commentators go back and forth discussing height and weight, before Frank takes a stand. FTT: “Actually Goldberg, you know what? I’ll go with Silky on this one. The movement, the silk crisp striking, I’ll go the underdog against your goliath.” G: “You can’t be serious.” After a slow teething out period, Kurgan looks to get himself going first, throwing some decent strikes, nothing too hectic landing though besides a soft head kick. Erica returns the favour, throwing some kicks and punches that seem to do more damage. FTT: “Decent little exchange here.” G: “Good high kick by Kurgan! Rolled the hips over nicely.” A takedown ensues by the bigger fighter, some decent ground and pound to touch up his opponent before choosing to stand and continue. Both get some strikes in and they move to the centre of the cage and land shot for shot to the cheers of the crowd. G: “Great exchange there!” Kurgan takes the upper hand and lands some good strikes, including a hook which he used to set up a double leg takedown, his second in as many minuets. FTT: “The Nightmare pressing here. Ohhhhh takedown! Can he capitalize!” Kurgan tries his best to get posture but ends up being tied into a triangle attempt by Silky, who’s displaying some good defensive ground skills off the back. Kurgan keeps calm and eventually slides out, all the way out, into side control. FTT: “Maybe a triangle here. Nope, can’t stick it, and the transition into side control for Kurgan.” G: “He kept his composure, not in any trouble.” After some short head shots from Kurgan, both fighters scramble to their feet. Erica takes the moment to show off how effective she is with her kicking, landing a flashy spinning heel kick. FTT: “Silky with the silk smooth kick!” G: “Wow, what flexibility!” The two fighters continued to battle it out, kicks, punches; an ambitious yet far off superman punch bringing the action rolling past the two minuet mark of the first round. It was pretty much more of the same till a Thai clinch at the one thirty mark. Both had turns holding the upper position and exchanged knees, before Kurgan once again took control. The Nightmare slipped out the back then followed through with another takedown. With less than a minute to go in the round he quickly moved into side control, before over doing it and losing his position. G: “Maybe a little too aggressive there“ Continuing his grappling domination, another takedown landed for Kurgan. With just 26 seconds left, this would’ve been the moment to really do some damage, but, it wasn’t to be as both fighters seemed happy to let things come to a stand-still before throwing some late shots to end round one. FTT: “As round one ends it’s been all Kurgan. Four successful takedowns and dominant position I would say have him ahead on the scorecards.” G: “No doubt about it. The Nightmare is showing us a grappling clinic. Silky did have the highlight reel strikes though and opened a cut on Kurgan. Erica will need more of that heading into the second. If Silky can target that cut, things might take a drastic turn” It was an easy round for the tower, The Nightmare, Chicago’s own. Both fighters hit their respective corners and listened to the instructions being thrown around from their various corner men, and women. A cut had developed under Kurgan’s eye which also needed attention. During the break, Goldberg got into a minor altercation with a fan. Something was said which had the cage side commentator respond with a right hook, landing plush on the fan’s jaw. A group of supporters close by also got involved, pushing and shoving from behind the barricades. Goldberg was eventually removed from cage side to let the dust settle, leaving Frank to handle the live listeners around the country on his own.
Round two saw much more striking from both fighters, then Kurgan landed another successful takedown. It was pretty close to how the first went, although The Nightmare did seem like he was tiring to begin, or maybe Wilde was just hungrier. It was tough to call either way. Goldberg re-joins Frank, cage side, to a collective ‘boo’ from part of the crowd closest them. FTT: “Well, well. Look who’s returned.” G: “That’s right, the best right hook in town!” Frank shakes his head at his partner in crime, commentator crime that is, as with one look of Frank you’d automatically assume you’d probably be able to take him. He wasn’t scrawny, yet be definitely wasn’t anything to look at. A simple intellectual with a love for sports. Both brush off the earlier incident and continue their duties as the final round gets underway. Both fighters come out like they want it, like they know this it, it’s time to prove themselves. In a turn of events, Wilde gets a takedown and looks for an opening to tie up a submission, but nothings doing. Some hammer fists smash the cut of Kurgan, but Viktor is able to kick his smaller opponent away and get back to his feet. Frank and Goldberg get caught up in the action as Kurgan presses forward, throwing one strike after the other. In spectacular fashion The Nightmare rocks and drops Erica. FTT: “Biiiiig shot! Down goes Wilde!” G: “Impressive striking from Kurgan. What can he do here?!” As Silky tries best to recover, Kurgan presses more, sensing blood in the water. Down come some heavy shots and the fight is stopped! It’s all over! FTT: “That’s it! Kurgan with the big finish here at the two minute mark of the final round!” G: “Oooooh baby! What a series of strikes to drop Silky, then the attack to claim the finish. Strong fight from The Nightmare, he’s on to the next round!” As the crowd cheered for both fighters, they had been won over more by the victor, Viktor. Kurgan celebrates casually, feeling the effects of a three round affair. Besides the cut on the eye and taking some decent strikes, he felt pretty damn good. After a show of sportsmanship, a roughing up of Wilde’s hairdo and a kind word, both fighters are guided to the centre of the MGM cage for the winner’s announcement. “AAAAAAAAAND THE WINNNER BY TTTTTT KKKKK OOOOOOO, ‘THE NIGHTMAREEEEEE’ VIKKKKKKTOOOOOR KUUUUURRRRRRRGAAAAANNNNN!” |

Finally, a motherfuckn goddamn finish, the writer thought, after posting his article off to his employer. He’d covered the last two fights for his new paycheque and wanted someone knocked or submitted the fuck out now more than ever. Last fight did see a stoppage, yet it was late in the final round. It was painful, not because of the lack of entertainment, oh no, there was plenty on show and this tournament was living up to all the hype. Instead, he had drugs to sell. He needed to earn a little cheddar beyond this floating desk job and flooding the streets of Vegas with cheap gear seemed like an ace idea! As the fighters readied themselves backstage, the MGM reporter attempted to get a word from one of the fighters. It was a pretty selfish thing to do, given it was just about go time, and as such it resulted in him being bumped aside as the first cage warrior made their way out to rowdy cheers from the fans. Jules, deterred yet ever determined to get the best bit of juice this side of whatever ocean separated Nevada from those abroad, realized his lack of tact and joined the other reporter’s cage side.
Scottie Oblivion danced down the aisle to a very rowdy ruckus from the LA natives in attendance. They were the more crazy, hit your grandmother with a brick type fight fans, and they kicked off as soon as Oblivion made his entrance. Drink cups were being thrown in the crowd, drenching other spectators not of the LA sort, which led to pushing and shoving and the odd sneaky jumper punch. It was total west coast anarchy, just the way they liked it. On the other hand, the Philly hopefuls kept a more or less respectful tone and let their support be known by the usual clapping and whistling. It wasn’t the biggest turn out for the green machine yet all fight fans were itching for more and everyone got to their feet in support of the last fight of the round as the ring announcer began the introductions. “IIIIITSSSS TIMEEEEEE! INTRODUCING FIRST, FIGHTINGGG OUT OF THE BLUE CORNER REPRESENTING WESTCOAST BANDIDOS AND THE CITY OF ANNNNGELSSSS ITS SCOTTTIIIIEEEEE ‘THE GREAT’ OBLIVVVIIIOOOONNNNN” The LA section erupted again as the sounds of barriers being rocked and foot stomping filled the casino. “AND HIS OPPONENT, FIGHTING IN THE RED CORNER REPRESENTING ENTANGGLEEEED ELEMENTSSS AND PHILLLYYYYY IT’S ‘EL TERRIBLLLEEEEEE’ TOOOOORRRRAAAAKKKKKK” FrankTheTank: “Oh wow, empty beer cups are being thrown at the announcer as he introduces Torak to the fans. The LA section here does seem to love their fighting” Goldberg: “Fuckin’ a they do. If Oblivion loses I’m getting the fuck out of here before they tear this place apart!” After empty cups are kicked out of the cage by both fighters, the door is then closed and they tap gloves just as the bell sounds. An exchange of punches starts the action in the first round, with a high kick from Oblivion landing nicely. G: “Oh straight into it here, good exchange.” Some feeling out still happening as both fighters seem tentative, maybe focused on working the distance more than making it a brawl. Oblivion acts first with a leg kick and a right hook, both landing. FTT: “Nice leg kick there by The Great.” G: “Ohhh and a hook, but it just glances the face of El Terrible. He better start responding or he may just have a fuckn terrible showing here!” Torak tries to return the favour but gets nothing but air. Moments later though we see a nice front kick landing on Oblivion’s face. G: “Here he is! El Terrible with the not so terrible front kick. He ate a punch at the same time, but he’s getting more active here.” Some kicking, punching and a whole lot of nothing really, for the next thirty or so seconds anyway before the crowd rawrs with a good exchange that ends with a massive head kick. FTT: “Oh! Big head kick there!” G: “Did you fuckn see that? Ohhh man Scottie will be feeling that one” Torak really starts finding a rhythm, he loads up with another headkick, this time on the left and rounds off a nice combination with both head and body shots, giving us a hint at his striking game. Trying to capitalize on this momentum, El Terrible attempts a takedown to be met instead with a Great foot to the face. It has the shorter of the two fighting a little dazed. G: “Holy shit what a great kick! Right on the button!” With three minutes and a half to go in the first both keep up the striking pace. A superman punch nearly fully connects for Torak, yet ends up again eating a counter moments later, this time by way of right glove. The fight at this stage is all Philly, as Torak is the more active of the two. He ends up landing a nice leg kick to trip up the bigger fighter, leaving him on his ass. But just as things seem to be going all one way the LA fighter gets a second first round wind, piling on punches and kicks to push the round into the two minute mark. Annnnd he kept going, landing a solid combination that set up a nice takedown. Nothing down there was doing though, both back to their feet and catching a breather before teeing off again to enter the one minute mark. Some solid shots were traded back and forth, real warriors duking it out. G: “Look at ‘em! Neither giving up ground, ready to die in here for their districts!” Another bit of stalling before some half assed shots whilst catching their breath, before The Great drove the fight back to the matt, this time taking Torak down and landing some decent shots. The fight eventually rolled over time, the bell ringing. Both fighters pick themselves up and head to their corners. FTT: “So who you got there, Gold?” G: “Well it’s hard to pick. Both fighters showed patches of dominance but Oblivion had more control especially on the ground. I’ll give round one to The Great one!”
During the between round break FrankTheTank decided to join some of the LA fans for a few beverages. He’d always been a drinker, and never hit the microphone without a few shots under his belt. Goldberg was an active mma fighter, whilst Frank was an active sobriety fighter. His fists were shots of whisky. After a few too many, he rejoined co-commentator Goldberg cage side half way through the round. G: “Wow, late much motherfucker? Fight’s on, and it’s heating up, where the fuck were you?” Frank took his shirt off, swung it around and threw it into the New York section of the crowd as they piped up in support. Cheers of Frank the tank sang out as the fight kept on. He turned around and sat back down next to Goldberg, in front of his mic. FTT: “Once it hits your lips, it's so good!” Round two starts guns blazing, both fighters trading first kicks and then punches to show they’ve had a good between round recovery before Oblivion lands some nice punches, one which sounded like it may have cracked one of Torak’s ribs. G: “Ohhh thunderous body punch there! Torak looks in pain, maybe Oblivion did some real damage with that one!” At this point in the fight the striking had been quite even, Oblivion only just ahead on significant strikes landing. Both fighters weren’t letting up either, standing and banging for the most part. Rolling into the three and a half minute mark Torak shows some fight and lands a nice high kick. The brawling continued with Torak landing more shots, single pickings, yet scoring none the less right before oblivion took the fight once more down town, another takedown successful; his third in the fight. Some good solid ground and pound before resuming on the feet. The rest of the round played out much the same, both fighters for the most part happy to stand and bang in the centre of the cage. Some kicks and punches landing for both, yet nothing heavy or in combinations, both content to use a little distance. That is until with less than a minute left The Great from LA throws some heeeeeavy handed shots. A body shot to kick things off, then a series of powerful rights that smash onto Torak’s chin. It’s lights the fuck out! G: “It’s over! Big shots there for Oblivion and he’s punched his ticket to the next round! He was just too powerful here tonight!” FTT: “You’re my boy blueeeee!” Frank was hammered, Goldberg won a ton of cash on the fight as he once again backed the fighter with the longer reach, and the writer got a tidy finish so he could go back to click-monkeying about, selling drugs to the elderly and minors in Vegas. Satisfied, Jules stood with the other fans as the announcer raised the winners hand center cage. “WINNNER BY KNOCKKK OUTTTTT, SCOTTTTTIIIEEEEE ‘THEEEEEEEE GREATTTTTTT’ OOOOOOBBLLIIIVVVVIIIIIIOOOONNNNNN!” |

Torak comes round a few minutes later on with SlumLordCactusFairy kneeling over him splashing water on his face and stuffing smelling salts under his nose. "Come on Torak, come on wake up now" "What the, who are you and where...What the hell am I doing here?" eventually Torak regains his senses enough to remember where he is and why he is here, sadly on the floor "Oh Shit Slum, I'm guessing that and its a long shot but did I lose by any chance?" "Yes mate, you defiantly did, but to be fair when you went down you went down quite quick and stayed down... haha" As they are making there way from the ring Torak tells Slum "You're doing the next one, cant even get to round 3 I'm out" |

BrotherHec was hitting the bag working on his speed. He got a phone call from fitz reminding him about the upcoming quarter finals competition. Immediately BrotherHec decided to kick up his training in high gear. The gym, covered in red and black mats for the night, gave the sign that the gym was ready for war. Everyone he was training with was giving it their all. Every sparring session. Every time guys would get on the mat and roll was to the highest degree. They knew that to be the champion was BrotherHecs biggest dream. After a few hours in that day, Ariel MRwini came in ready to do his regular report of the fighters. He asked a couple questions to brotherHec, most o them were filled with the same repeated answers. One question struck BrotherHec and caught him straight. He looked at Ariel and stared for a moment before answering. Scared? You think im scared to fight? You know Ariel theres many things in this life i experience. I see the emotions of fear run through people as i approach them in a back alley. I see the dangers that loom through peoples minds when they realize they could square up with me. I see the love my family and friends have for me and i feel that too. I involve myself with some pretty organized men and women and you think im scared to get in the ring and fight? Let me ask you a question Ariel. In all of my fights, have you ever seen me back down? In those fights have you ever seen me scared to throw or get hit? Nope. In the ring im a monster. I come for peoples hearts and imma take it. BrotherHec had the young reported escorted out of the gym and pulled the blinds down. There would be no more reporting of how training camp was going at this stage of the game. |

She thinks to herself....'Should she let her bossman win, or risk a bullet for embarrassing him when she wiped the floor with him?' Cami walks off mumbling softly... "Mio Dio! Sucha dilemma..." She realized her choice was made as her pace increased, milling through the passersby on the streets. She stopped in front of a nearby store, peering at her reflection in the window, glancing over the results from the last fight. Cami shrugged while smiling knowing one way or another she was going out with a bang~ |

The MGM Grand was buzzing with excitement. Young boys- both those who'd been escorted by their parents and those who'd snuck in past the turnstiles, were standing with open mouths as their heroes entered the ring. BrotherHec strutted out with his hands in the air as the large crowd from New York went wild. Meanwhile, Chong punched the air several times, limbering up for the bout, as the LA fans chanted his name. The new announcer, a young man full of energy that a few people from Vegas recognized as newcomer Alexander Hamilton, stepped out and the crowd noise faded to an excited buzzing. "LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADIES ANNNNNNNNNND GENNNNNNNNNNNTLEMENNNNNN. WELCOME to the MGM Grand here in Las Vegas, where we have the first of our three semifinal bouts! Tonight, we have a rumble between two experienced fighters. The winner will advance to the next round where they'll take on the winner of Fight 2. But let's not get ahead of ourselves! In this corner, wearing silver trunks, from Los Angeles, is CHONG! In this corner, wearing white, from New York, is BROTHERHEC!" As the crowd cheered, the young man gave way to the referee and slid out of the ring, taking up his notepad and a pencil to scribble down his thoughts on the fight. Later, he'd put the notes together with the typewriter sitting in his hotel room. Round One: Trading a flurry of early kicks, the fighters appeared to be feeling each other out until a knee from Chong slightly staggered BrotherHec. BrotherHec went on the offensive, though, as he charged Chong and took him down, delivering several punches until Chong slid out of his grasp. The fighters backed off, trading blows and grappling while standing, although neither fighter seemed to gain the upper hand. A spinning kick in the air from BrotherHec drew a cheer from the New York crowd, but Chong was quick to retaliate. A jumping punch from Chong caused the LA supporters to cheer, and the roars only got louder as Chong threw BrotherHec to the mat and followed the descent with a thunderous downward punch that knocked BrotherHec's head back. They traded punches before BrotherHec regained his feet- but only momentarily before Chong took him down again and tried for a hold- although the end of the round ended his attempt. Was it that downward punch that caused BrotherHec's forward to open up? This reported certainly thinks so. Chong, it seemed, had the advantage going into the second round. Round Two: Attempting to start strong, BrotherHec charged for an immediate takedown as Round 2 began- and he was promptly kicked in the face for his efforts. The fighters traded punches and kicks yet again, but more assertively than they did in the earlier round- with BrotherHec getting the better of the first minute, although he seemed to be tiring. He obviously found a second wind, though as he took down Chong and began raining down a flurry of punches until Chong managed to escape, only to be dumped down again seconds later. Chong managed to occasionally respond with a counterattack, but BrotherHec dominated this round, ending it with a series of powerful knees to Chong's body. BrotherHec still bled, and he seemed exhausted as he rested his hands on his knees after the round had ended- but this one belonged to the fighter from the Big Apple.
As Round 3 began Chong found himself in a familiar place: on his back, getting punched in the face. Escaping, he must have channeled his frustrastion when it happened once again, since Chong quickly flipped BrotherHec- although he wasn't able to capitalize on his position. Another brief exchange of blows led to BrotherHec tackling Chong once again. Bleeding profusely, BrotherHec was nonetheless in control. Perhaps the blood from his cut obfuscated his vision, as Brother Hec walked into a powerful kick from Chong that dropped him to the mat. He stood up to receive another thundering kick to the face, but as Chong tried to capitalize in the final minute BrotherHec grabbed his leg and dropped him on his back once again. Bleeding quite a bit from his chest and forehead, BrotherHec seemed to be hoping for the bell, but Chong finally turned the tables on him and, grabbing BrotherHec's leg, dropped him to the ground, but the fighter from LA couldn't follow up on his opportunity before he ran out of time. Decision: Both fighters were exhausted as they waited for the result of this hard fought battle. One got the sense that if there was another round BrotherHec might have run out of gas... but as it was, he emptied his tank giving it everything he had. And for that, he was victorious: BROTHERHEC DEFEATS CHONG IN A UNANIMOUS DECISION! |

Hamilton burst into the ring, practically hopping with excitement as the crowd cheered. "Next up: A HOMETOWN SHOWDOWN as two Las Vegas residents take to the ring to decide who represents Sin City in the next round! In this corner, wearing black trunks, the man they call Slash, who can also crash, bash, and smash- hailing from Summerlin- it's SAUL "THE WARRIOR" HUDSON! And in this corner, wearing rose red trunks, just a beautiful as the petals- but dishing out the pain far more effectively than any thorns, also from Summerlin, Camilla "The Chosen" One", Balistreri! This fight stays in the neighborhood, folks! There were loud cheers from the crowd for both fighters. Most people from Vegas seemed to be rooting for both competitors; it was, no doubt, a difficult decision to make for those who were acquaintances of both these well known Vegas residents. Sliding out of the ring, Hamilton picked up his notepad.
Round One: The fighters began by trading shots, with a couple landing on each side, until The Warrior grabbed the leg of his opponent and dropped Camilla to the mat. Neither fighter landed a major blow, however, as Camilla quickly got up to her feet. The ensuing grapple, which continued for a quite a while, saw both fighters struggling to establish position- which is the same thing that happened as Slash took Camilla to the mat once again. But she managed to wriggle away and, for the final two minutes Balisteri had the better of the action against Hudson, first hitting him with a leaping punch and then taking him to the ground. To this untrained reporter's eyes, this round seemed pretty even. Round Two: Compared to the reluctant reconnaissance that began Round 1, Round started out firing on all cylinders as the fighters unloaded on each other. Camilla seemed to have the slight edge, taking Slash down twice and trying to force a submission on the second charge. But, uncowed, Slash landed a steady stream of kicks on the other fighter. It was another close round, although Balistreri seemed comfortable rolling around- an area that Hudson seemed to struggle with. The Chosen One ran out of time on her third submission attempt, however, at the end of the round.
The Warrior began the third round aggressively, but was once again unable to truly capitalize on a takedown. For a few moments it didn't look like it would matter, as Hudson delivered a powerful kick to Balistreri's stomach that left her gasping for air and falling to the mat. Going for the win, Slash followed up with a brutal downward punch and a quick succession of smaller follow up jabs. Camilla escaped, only to be grappled once again, this time from a standing position. Hudson seemed to be in control, but once again she slipped out of his grasp- which was unfortunate for the man in the ring, as the tables seemed to be turning. Another takedown by Camilla was followed up by a thundering kick that seemed to leave Hudson half-conscious on his feet. Balistreri capitalized, leaping through the air like a panther and connecting her fist with The Warrior's jaw, which sent him tumbling to the mat. Not one to leave it up to chance, she landed a couple more shots during his slow descent. As she pounced on him to follow up even further, the ref called her off. THE WINNER, BY KNOCKOUT, IS CAMILLA "THE CHOSEN ONE" BALISTRERI! |

Hamilton walks into the ring, slower this time as he builds up a sense of drama. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we begin this fight... with a special announcement." The crowd quickly falls silent, not knowing what to expect. "The winner of the next fight, which was randomly selected by Disorder, will not just advance to the next round- no, they will instead be guaranteed a place in the FINAL, where they will fight the winner of the match between BrotherHec and CamillaBalistreri!" The crowd cheered, knowing they'd be seeing one of the final two championship contenders. "So let's introduce our fighters. In this corner, wearing camo trunks and hailing from Venice Beach, Los Angeles... Scottie "The Great" Oblivion! A large number of people, having made the relatively short drive from LA to Vegas, burst out into a cheer. "In this corner, wearing black trunks and representing the Windy City, is "The Nightmare" Viktor Kurgan!" The Chicago crowd, a large bunch who always traveled well, raised an even louder cheer from their corner. Hamilton ducked out of the ring, quickly flipping open his notepad.
Round One: Oblivion is a tall man, standing 6'1", but Kurgan, at 6'4", dwarfed even him. One has to wonder if the longer reach will give Kurgan an advantage in the fight. Trading attacks early on, Kurgan responded to a kick to the face by charging Oblivion and taking him to the mat, landing a couple solid punches. Somewhere in the melee, a cut opened above Kurgan's right eye, which perhaps distracted him from seeing Oblivion's spinning leg kick. The crewleader from Chicago responded aggressively, landing several punches and kicks before Oblivion grabbed his leg and pushed the tower of a man to his back, although Kurgan quickly pushed him away. The rest of the round was largely occupied with grappling, both standing and on the ground, as Kurgan attempted, and failed, to force Oblivion to submit. By the end of the round the cut on Kurgan's face had become a gash: a trail of blood stretching all the way across his eyebrow and down to his nose. His corner went to work on him immediately, but the crowd had to wonder: could anything they try to do hold up through two more rounds? Round Two: Kurgan kept up the steady assault, although a kick by Oblivion sent him back on his heels. Shortly after, Oblivion managed to take down Kurgan again and follow up with a steady stream of shots to the face. Kurgan managed to push him off, but was soon staggered again, eventually grappling with Oblivion and seemingly finding his footing. Kurgan managed to escape from another take down, but Oblivion knocked him back against the wall and followed up with a powerful right hand shot. As Kurgan was taken down once again, fans smelled blood in the water- but the blood, it turned out, belonged to Oblivion as well as his opponent. Kurgan had managed to connect with Oblivion's face to open up a cut- and "The Nightmare"refused to let Oblivion escape, first flipping him over and then using his long legs to keep Oblivion pinned. Kurgan perched on Oblivion's back blasting down powerful punches on the defenseless head of the man from Venice Beach- and as Oblivion continued to spin, Kurgan refused to let him out of his grasp. Finally, Oblivion managed to get up, delivering a spinning back hand that sent Kurgan staggering backwards. The round ended quietly: both men bloodied, both bruised, but neither beaten. If Oblivion had won the first round, Kurgan had roared back to claim the second. Round three would decide the match.
The fighters traded blows early, with Oblivion landed a couple punches to Kurgan on the mat before the taller man rose and responded with a powerful shot to Oblivion's body. But Kurgan himself was staggered by a kick soon after, before returning the favor to Oblivion. The giants continued to strike each other, but as Oblivion tackled Kurgan he was greeted by another furious sequence of upward punches from the taller man that sprayed blood over the mat. With less than thirty seconds remaining, Kurgan fell backwards, frozen by a body shot to his right side, and landed hard on the mat. The crowd cheered- was it over? No, Kurgan stood once more and, as the bell rang, the judges had a difficult choice before them. Both fighters had left their blood on the mat, both had landed many serious blows to the other. It was the closest fight of the round- but there had to be a winner. And his dominant stretch on the ground in the second round must have persuaded at least one of the judges. THE WINNER, BY SPLIT DECISION, IS "THE NIGHTMARE" VIKTOR KURGAN! HE'S GOING TO THE FINALS, WHERE HE'LL FACE THE WINNER OF THE MATCH BETWEEN BROTHERHEC AND CAMILLA BALISTRERI! |

Fitz was excited to see the winner of this one, with "The Nightmare" Viktor Kurgan having received a bye in to the next round both of these fighters would have a task on their hands once this one was over. Fitz wondered if any of these were up to Disorder's standards though and wondered if they would give the big man any trouble at all. |

Fitz was excited for this one, admittedly both of these fighters were favourites of Fitz' and he wondered if any of them could match up to the speed and strength of Big Dick Vik as some of his fans had come to call him. Kurgan was a force to be reckoned with but one of these fighters would have to challenge the big man for the ultimate prize. "Both of these guys look up for this one" Scipio shouted across to LuciusSweet who nodded in response, the Don of the Ultimate Team #1 crew was quiet lately, rumour had it he had been a two-time billionaire only to lose his fortune to The House, the conqueror of gamblers. Fitz had to agree though, both fighters ran in to the cage looking pumped, bouncing around and shadow boxing in side of the ring. As the referee calls both fighters together to go over the rules, the fighters are seen to look at each other fiercely. There will be no love lost after this one is finished Fitz thought to himself. "Who d'ya thinks got this one Disorder?" The man mountain simply shrugged, it seemed he wasn't particularly bothered who won so long as he could get his hands on someone soon. He was growing impatient and Fitz had noticed as much within their training sessions when one day he after doing some work on the pads, he ripped them from Fitz' hands, taking a huge bite out of one of them and then threw it on the ground, he followed up by kicking the half eaten pad across the gym, which by good fortune happened to hit HighPitchEric in the face. "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, this is the first and last of the semi-finals and the winner will face up against the finalist Big D..., VIKTOR KURGANNNNN.
NOW, PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR.... PRETTY BOY, BROTHER HECCCCCCCCCC." For a moment the crowd went wild, his popularity throughout the competition had rose and the crowd were really up for this one. "AND HIS OPPONENT FIGHTING OUT OF SUMMERLIN, LAS VEGAS IS.... CAMILLA, THE CHOSEN ONE, BALISTRERIIIIIII." As the referree signalled for the bell to ring, the fights came together and touched gloves. The fight started strongly, both fighters throwing punches in bunches but Brother Hec seemed to be using his height and reach advantage and was utlising his kicks well, mean while Camilla was throwing shots towards her opponent but the majority seemed to be sailing wide of her mark. Several times Hec managed to counter his opponent with a roundhouse to the head but The Chosen One kept coming forward, trying their best to bring the fight on the inside and make things difficult for Hec. After a takedown from Camilla, the fight was brought to the floor and both fighters tried to create a better position for themselves, with The Chosen One on top and Hec on the bottom, Balistreri attempted to reign down blows on the opponent but Hec managed to reverse the position in a cleverly timed move and got himself into a great position. However, it seemed as if The Pretty Boy wanted to take this fight to it's feet and he sacrificed his position on the floor to get to his feet and gave his opponent a wave to signal them to get up. Camilla was stilll trying to throw punches but Hec was doing his best to keep out the way of his, using his kicks still to ensure the distance between the two remained manageable. If he managed to keep Camilla out of the fight like this, we might see Hec heading to the final here. The round ended after a brief exchange of punches and kicks and Hec managing to lake a takedown on his opponent. It wasn't looking good for Camilla Fitz thought, surely that round went to Hec? As the second round started Hec appeared to be the agressor, as opposed to the last round where he kept his distance this time around he was walking into his opponent and making good use of his punches, this seemed to go against his previous game plan of keep his challenger at bay and using his feet to dominate. It seemed Hec wanted to bring the fight here and was on the front foot now. Camilla was trying to do everything she could to stop the onslaught but the power, the height, the strength, Hec had it all here and after a take down from Camilla Hec managed to get himself in to a full guard and form there tie his opponent up in a submission. DEEP, the submission was deep and Camilla was in all kinds of toruble here. "Oh my." Disorder said aloud. It was all over. Camilla was out cold and Brother Hec, mercilessly rolled the limp body of his opponent off of him and stood up with his hands in the air.
"...AND YOUR WINNER BY SUBMISSION IS... PRETTY BOY, BROTHER HECCCCCCCCCCC"
Hec advanced to the final and it promised to be a helluva fight. |
