You're wrong Luango. He told them not to shoot at Earners or below until they had a chance to join another family.
Report Post Tip
"if they were earner or below and found a family then they would be left safe but for everyone else there would be no mercy shown"

He said IF THEY FIND a home they would be safe if not they would die.
Report Post Tip
So does that not give those who were asleep during it all a chance to come back on and find one?

Seems unfair to kill those who had no idea what had happened. Don't you think so?
Report Post Tip
What part of a war IS fair?
Report Post Tip
It was a war against one man, and his ranked people.

There are rules to war incase you haven't heard.
Report Post Tip
There are rules to wars between mafia families?

Kevin scratches his head
Report Post Tip
As far as I'm concerned if the boss is at war the crew is at war and that makes everyone eligible for attack.
Report Post Tip
The rules of war are made by those who have started to war. It is not made by those outside of it. If Moretay said they all die then those are his rules to the war he started.
Report Post Tip
Alright, alright. You guys win. Killing youngsters in their sleep was totally justified.

Well done Mr Moretay. Your war was very well executed. I do admire a man who can carry out such a war so flawlessly.

Tips his hat and steps back into the crowd.
Report Post Tip
Those are family rules, Luongo, not rules to war. "Rules to war" are rules that every engaged family must abide by. Such a thing doesn't exist in the mafia. I think our friend is thinking of rules to war as they pertain to international treaties between countries.
Report Post Tip
Steps back out of the crowd real quick.

The cat is right. It's all I had. I got nothing.

Disappears once again into the masses.

Dude.

You killed him and his entire family over an argument? There are many ways to show someone you don't want them meddling with your family that are a lot less...violent... than killing the entire family. Not to sound like an ass, but did confronting him about how you felt ever cross your mind? If you let him know that you didn't want him in your family's affairs I'm sure he would have been more than happy to simply stop.

And another reason you listed was that you got reports of people who didn't like the way that he ran his family.

If we take a trip back down memory lane, here, you were mad because he butted in your family's business. Read above line and then read the previous sentence, if you would be so kind.

Notice a contradiction?

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but it seems that you could have been a lot more diplomatic and understanding about this, rather than slaughter his family in the middle of the night.

My decision to assist in the take down of Jay-C was not out of a thirst for personal power or an eagerness for war but rather it fell down to one of the simplest and most central values that this world revolves around. Respect. What Jay-C and his Right Hand, Sonicz, didn't seem to catch on to upon hearing about my upcoming auth was the fact that they had no personal stance of power in Las Vegas and that what we chose to do here was our decision and only that.

Not only did they both hold lengthy disputes with both RonMexico and myself but they both resorted to cynical and disrespectful methods of turning a discussion into an argument. I am not going to go into detail and divulge the specifics of these conversations to the public but what I will conclude is that not only did I not appreciate being spoken (down) to in the way that they both did but I did not appreciate the level of disrespect that they had no problem showing towards me.

Philly needed a change and now was the time to end Jay-C's rule over the city.
Report Post Tip
To piggyback on the comments by my boss,

We had serious issues with their blatant disrespect. Not only did they insult his appointment to this position, but they also questioned the judgment of the man who gave Alfieri this start, RonMexico.

After their uncalled for and unsolicited advice on how they felt Las Vegas should be run, we and a few other community leaders decided it was time that Philly come under judgment.

Jay-C can rest in peace, and his legacy in pieces. May Philadelphia recover and may a leader step up who is worthy to raise the city up to a level worthy of its longstanding reputation.

Takes notes during the speech and sighs..

Although you dont have to come to the streets with information, I thank you for doing so. It is nice to keep the public informed with "some" information.. keeps those punks quiet and not curious!!

Folds up the piece of paper and smiles after pouring out a little liquor for the fallen Boss

Jay-C, God rest his soul, was not a good Leader. In addtion to what Moretay, and my own leader Mr. Giaquinto have said, I could add another flve legitimate reasons, easily; do not construe this is disrespect or desecration, it's truth.

That's irrelevant though, he's dead so anything I say regarding whether he 'deserved' to live or die is not a moot point.

It's a double adged sword though, so similarly, anything anyone says about it being 'bullshit' or contruing the motives given so they can complain, is also a moot point. None of it changes anything.

Oh, and I hate to use a cliche...but fuck...grow up! There are no "rules" for war, just because "Leader XOYO Triple X" said members should be spared in the past, it doesn't make it policy or rule; every case is based on it's merits, or lack thereof.
Report Post Tip
Hey, Doc... not sure how you got your Ph.D, with your very limited powers of observation, but re-read the things I've said. Thanks.

Jaybee listens in on what everybody has to say about his father, and feels he needs to make a responce.

"In spite of everything you ended up doing to my father; Moretay, Sal, Alfieri, and any others involved, I must say, I am impressed. Very impressed actually, and I'm not being in the least bit sarcastic, I genuinly are impressed at what you acheived, you managed to come together as one, and plan the takedown another CrewLeader, not mentioning he was ranked Boss, without casuing any suspicious to the target. That's really something to be proud of."

Jay doesn't smile, or frown, yet his facial expression stays unchanged

"I do feel sad for my father, of course I do, but from what you have said, it needed to be done, and rightfully so. You did what you must to protect each of your own families, I can not complain about that one bit. Now, usually, when somebodies father has put a lot of effort in, and then dies, the son/daughter of the deceased will come to a thread very much like this, and complain how the father didn't deserve to be taken down, and that the people involved are basically retards for thinking that he did. I won't bother, as it's irrelevant, wether he did need taking down or not is purely oppinionated, as I can see, a lot of people didn't like him in the position he was in, wether it was just because he was more established than them, or wether it was because of poor leadership. I don't care which, he's dead now, gone forever, there is no way to revive him or bring him back, what's done is done."

A tear breaks out of Jay's left eye, as he quickly wipes it away before anyone can notice

"From this experience, I have only been in this world one day, but already I have learnt what not to do, I can see what my father did wrong, and I can relate to that, and take it on board. If I am ever given the chance to become the Leader of my very own Crime Family, there will be differentations to how my father ran his. I can say on his behalf he is sorry for any pain he caused to anyone, or any distress people had because of him. One last thing I say; Rest In Peace Father, I hope you are treated up there like you never were down here"

Another tear breaks out of Jay's eye, but he doesn't bother wiping it away, instead he lets it drip down his cheek, and he drops his head and walks away

I have a different take on this.

We are business men and woman and we have to take care of what brings us profit.

No matter what happens, if it is not going to affect my orginazaion and line of buisiness,

I'm not going to get involved.

Life is complicated enough with all the various law enforcement restrictions that impede regular progression of our affairs.

When I have local issues that impact my families interests, be it someone taking whats not theirs, someone stepping on toes that should not be stepped on, or someone snooping around where they don't belong, I'm going in and taking care to remove those obstacles and make sure they go away.

Normally, everyone keeps out of each others business. I'm not going to try and tell any other family how to run their family or further their financial interests.

There is no profit there for my family.

Now if someone else starts to try and take over my turf, or influence how my business works, thats not going to be good. Thats going to draw attention to me. Thats going to scare away my clients. Thats going to confuse and mess up my guys.

I can't have that go on. I will have to take whatever steps are needed to bring the situation back to "Business as Usual"

Nothing personal, Its just business and I have a job to do, just like anyone else.

After re-reading the topic, I retract my previous statement.

I clearly don't know what exactly happened, and apologize.
