Togged to the bricks, her eyes focused on the gentlemen situated at the bar.  Every step was full of confidence, the swaying of her hips, the smile lurking on her face.  The Elsa Schiaparelli dress fit her body like a second skin, every move she made accenting her curves.  She strolled to the bar, fixing herself amidst the group, placing a gloved hand atop the bar.

Within seconds, hands sporting cigarettes extended in her direction.  She let out a soft giggle, accepting one from the gentleman beside her. Placing the cigarette between her red painted lips, she leaned forward towards the lighter, closing her eyes in a smile as the nicotine began to flow.  Her lips pursed as she blew out the smoke, opening her eyes then placed a hand on his shoulder, leaning close whispering words only he could hear.

Leaning against the wall, Cami observed the dame from her corner table.  The word was these gentlemen had deep pockets, but a little stingy to part with their dough….except when a beautiful woman was involved.  It took quite a bit of searching to find a willing distraction, and not some twit or a jitterbug full of fidgety motions, a big tell tale sign of someone unqualified for gathering the information she needed.

The one fixated on the dame was plenty rugged, a recently hired lug for one of the local mob bosses, but his gaze sure hadn’t left hers as she chatted on with the group.  Cami smiled somewhat pleased, mumbling a soft ‘Perfetto’ to herself.  Men were such easy targets these days, and not a real challenge anymore.  She grew bored of the same old, same old malarkey from would be suitors and admirers in the past two years since Valentino had been taken from her.

It did however amuse her though watching as the men fawned all over the dame.  Some men could be easy targets, easy pawns for whatever devilish plan she had in store.  Yet, there was always the one person that eluded Cami.  The one she desperately wished with all her heart to lays eyes on once more, to watch as he took his last breath.

She barely smiled these days no matter what antics her familgia attempted to do to cheer her up. Cami lost the light in her eyes two years ago, and hasn’t been able to find it again.  One day.  One day she had vowed if it took her until the end of time, she would find that bastard.  Her blue eyes caught sight of the dame heading to the powder room, the signal for when she had snuffed out some dirt.

Waiting a couple minutes, Cami then downed the contents of the glass, clinking it with a thud as it hit the table.  She gathered the rhinestone clutch, smoothed the black Chanel dress as she stood up with graceful movements that reflected her nature elegance.  Making her way to the powder room, Cami bypassed the group at the bar, not wanting to be noticed.

She entered the snazzy powder room, her blue eyes glancing around for any stragglers and eavesdroppers.  Finding none, Cami went to stand in front of the mirror, standing next to the brunette reapplying her lipstick.  She glanced to her own face, noticing the lack of color on her lips then retrieved the red lipstick from her clutch.

Applying with such care, Cami then replaced the cap with a snap, tossing it back into the rhinestone clutch, snapping together.  Then as she leaned forward, tracing a delicate finger around her lips, Cami arched an eyebrow as her blue eyes blazed with interest as they met the pair of black eyes in the mirror.

“Bene?”

“Ecco l'indirizzo Signora.”

The brunette retrieved a piece of paper from her handbag, sliding it across the countertop towards Cami.  After opening the slip of paper, she turned to the brunette for confirmation.

“Lui sarà lì?  Molto bene!”

Cami tucked the clutch under her arm, clenching the paper in her delicate hand with a fierce grip. Finally the bastard was tracked down. Vengeance was due, and she meant to have hers tomorrow night.  She exited the powder room with a renewed purpose.

The Garden of Eden was her next stop.  Arriving within three hours of straight driving, stopping only to refuel when needed, but no luxury stops of any kind, Cami made her way in the Headquarters to her Don’s office.  She knocked twice, with urgency, and the door flew open. She focused her attention on Don Slash then launched into her native tongue with excitement, waving her hands through the air as she spoke until he got up from his desk, walked to her, placing his hands on her shoulders and said to shut the hell up.  Instantly Cami held her tongue as she took a deep breath.

“Perdonami Don Slash.  I found him!  I need your permission for this.  He will be at The City’s Finest tomorrow.”

Don Slash went on to retake his seat behind the desk, verbally making arrangements with Bender and PoisonousJelly to bring in a few of the new recruits to handle this.  She started to open her mouth wanting in on the action, but one look from her Don kept her quiet.  Cami would just have to be satisfied being there to witness his death.  For the first time in almost two years, Cami genuinely smiled.
