She adjusted her jacket as she glanced into the mirror, turning slightly to the side then the other. Her blue eyes trailed over the Chanel suit, then shrugged a bit.  She looked elegant as always, yet the day’s events left her feeling sad. She turned to move to the massive mahogany desk, a gift from Godfather Slash for her new Headquarters.  Taking a seat, Cami began to think about the day.  

Losing a Godfather in Chicago was tragic, and she mourned the loss, yet nothing had prepared her for the rest of the day.  Losing family always hurt, but Don Artus was very special to Cami, which made the loss even worse.  He would always have a place in her heart, just as Sin City would always be her home.

Pulling out a sheet of stationery, Cami began writing a telegram to be sent around the country, to the many leaders across these vast lands of America.

“Greetings from Downtown, Detroit.  Allow me to introduce myself to those who may not know me.  Mi chiamo Don Balistreri.  Now I realize that I have recently acquired my position, and I do not know each and every leader personally, some not at all, but I aim to change that fact.

Detroit has been empty and barren for far too long now, but I look forward to seeing this city thrive once more, with the vibrant flow of hustle and bustle it used to possess.

I welcome each and every leader to visit, sit down for a chat, or have lunch, so we can get better acquainted.  Downtown extends its hand in greeting.”

She gathered herself together then headed outside, with plans to meet Conn for lunch later. Cami met a small group of her security detail, by her two newly acquired 1930 Cadillac V-16 coupes. She had an errand to run before lunch tending to these fine automobiles at Petrol Victory Money Motors Gas Station.
