Fitz for those that knew Luna and her family will know there will be a good reason for her action. You quickly came to the streets to give your version including that bleeding from her vagina is the most likely explanation. I said I have respected much of the things you say here and stated that I think this reference especially from a GF is low, disgusting in fact.

Let's imagine 3 situations:

1) Luna was bleeding from her vagina causing her to become mentally deranged and therefore took her own life

2) Luna was not bleeding from her vagina but simply had female hysteria and took her own life

3) Luna comes from an experienced lineage and had a perfectly valid reason to take her life

IF the 3 was true it is interesting that a GF runs so quickly to the streets claiming mensturation issues...

I am not going to comment on Fitz, as I am not aware of his (?) cycle and he is a well.. respected Godfather. I would like to add that my bloodline (pun intended) has known Luna's (really.. Looney..? childish is more mature!) bloodline (pun intended) for quite a period (pun intended) of time and has never noticed any changing in behavior over time.

I want to make it known I was not aware a women's menstrual cycle came into play. When one barks, I tend to perceive as a boring read and not reading in it's entirety.

Is this not the 2nd CL under your care to suicide? Were they both on their period at the time? I assume you keep logs of these things?

I don't know or care if either were on their period. The only thing I do know for certain is both displayed a disgusting lack of leadership that should be condemned for what it was; pathetic juvenile bullshit. If you don't like being told no and worse, you can't handle being told no and take that as a very real incentive to improve, the world is better off without you. However, leaving your entire crew in the lurch on the back of it offends me far worse than any turn of phrase could. Your primary duty is to your members; you want to take a gun to your head in a fit of pique, make sure they are protected first. Anything else makes you incompetent and selfish.

Did anything happen to either of those leaders or their families before they selfishly abandoned their families? Nope. So really the 'protection' is worth it's weight in gold; without it, you die.

FitzChivalry afforded two people the opportunity to prove themselves, both of whom failed miserably and abandoned their own families in fits of pique. Even if the reasons for their doing so were extreme, which they aren't, they failed their primary duty as a leader; protect their members. If I decided I didn't like FitzChivalry saying something mean to me (or just speaking/not speaking to me as was the case here), I wouldn't just put a gun to my head and let my 29 man family rot - I care more about them than that. They've entrusted their survival to me and they deserve better than that. Luna's members deserved better than that and so did Anteros'.

Nobody is "in Bonkers' care". The leaders in Detroit as being afforded the same opportunity as those in Los Angeles; to prove themselves and earn favour to become a family in their own right. We, nor they, are here to hold your hand and tell you everything is going to be fine. I had an issue with a particular phrase and I raised that issue. But the way some people have been jumping up and down chewing their hats and shouting, you'd think that Fitz came out in the streets and said "Loony had some period shit going on so she shot herself that is all."

Ironically, the whole point of my original comment was that certain phrases made this about gender when gender shouldn't even be part of the discussion. Since I said that, gender has been brought up multiple times.

It reminds me of someone not getting Made as soon as they could and deciding to just quit,, rather than putting in the work and improving themselves to whatever standards their boss has.

In summation, being a woman had nothing to do with this situation. That's what everyone seems to be fixated on- and that's exactly why I made the comment that I did- because dragging gender into the equation muddied the waters of what I think was a pretty cut and dried situation described above.

When I first heard Godfather Fitz's speech, I caught that one phrase and quite honestly, my first thought was something along the lines of "Did he just? Oh no he didn't." But Kathryn addressed it before I had a chance, very eloquently at that, and I saw no need to further harp on the issue. Unfortunately not everyone felt the same and now this issues seems to have been blown far out of proportion.

At the end of the day, the Godfather can phrase things however he wants. Being the boss allows you that freedom. And it really truly doesn't matter because, as Kathryn pointed out, he's not saying that she retired simply because she was menstruating.  

Eight_Fell_Over, do you think you're helping your family at all by coming out here the way that you are? By implying something is wrong with Las Vegas or the way they choose to oversee Los Angeles, the city you are currently a part of?

To me this is all pretty simple. Ms. Lovegood, despite her "experienced" lineage, threw a hissy fit that she didn't get her way and her old tricks to gain favor weren't going to work with this regime and she retired in haste instead of sucking it up and earning favor the way the other crews did. She proved that she could care less about what would happen to her family in her absence; she didn't take a moment to ensure their safety, see that they would be safe and given an opportunity to go elsewhere. Instead she simply....quit. This simply proves that she didn't deserve the favor she was asking for. 

What happened to her fallen family members is no one's fault but her own.

That's not you asking "reasonable questions politely in public in order to keep family safe". That's you being either deliberately dense and ridiculous to try to make a point that you must think is rather bold of you or being so authentically dense that it's a biological marvel.

Is there anything you can actually logically contribute here? Or is your whole plan to ridiculously flounce around yelling about periods? I'm not sure sure if you're trying to martyr yourself or score points with Luna's bloodline or just kill your boredom, but so far it seems like all you've manage to do is confuse yourself and waste oxygen.

Here, you're at least trying to make an argument, even if you fail by using one of the more blatant logical fallacies. What you're doing here is called a false dichotomy, setting up extreme alternatives trying to assert that one of them must be true. But the only options here are not that either Luna retired because she was mentally deranged, Luna retired because she had "female hysteria", and Luna was experienced and had a perfectly good reason for retiring. (I removed all your bitching about periods because it contributes nothing to the actual discussion.)-

Except we don't just have to choose between your ridiculous three options, as you seem to say these are the only possibilities.

Again, isn't it objectively true that she felt frustrated because she wasn't getting rewarded by her boss and decided to quit because of it? You can say well, she felt like she wasn't being treated fairly... but isn't that what she signed up for? To get to run a crew of her own in LA, with the decision to expand being up to the person overseeing LA? This is the mafia- and she had a boss, a boss that she chose. She didn't like what he said, so she quit instead. What a world, indeed!

To conclude, I don't think Daniella was trying to threaten you, veiled or unveiled. I think she's just calling you an idiot. Which, based on your contributions thus far, is a conclusion I have to agree with.

I feel like this has gone on enough. In regards to Luna, mistakes were made. I do not agree with the way she left one bit. Iv made that clear. She always taught me it was not the way to do things. That you have to think of your crew first. This seemed quite the opposite of what was displayed. There are many things I could say regarding the events leading up to her death but it will not change anything. What's done is done. 

Do I think Godfather Fitzchivalry could of left parts of his speech out? Yes. I am sure he already regrets saying what he did. Speaking as a female I can safely say I listened to his speech and did pause over that particular reference. But it was addressed by many people already. I really don't think everyone should be arguing over it in the streets. It's another example of what's done is done. Unfortunately it cannot be undone just like Luna cannot go back in time and change things. 

That being said, if people wish to address the speech it's an absolute free country! I just feel we should all remember this is the mafia, we are suppose to be proud, mature and although we're only human we should really remember to speak in a way that shows intelligence. I understand why people would be upset. I just feel there is a way to say things that will get your point across better. I feel how Kathryn addressed things originally is how everyone should be thinking. It was reasonable.

Eight fell over, got that right.  Reflecting on a recent convo I had with another, I sure hope they see this because it is the same big gentlemen guns who do the name calling and want total control of who goes where. They have no desire to see you succeeed. You are a threat to them. In the meanwhile, maybe they can jerk each other off. 

Fitz inhaled loudly through his nostrils, the scent of rotten blood in the air was significant, as was the hint of salt. Calling Orange to his side, he ensured a large order of pads and tissues made it to the streets.

It amuses me that a few of you disapprove of my use of language, unsurprisingly though, it has been used as a way to deflect from just how dishonourable the behaviour of this crew leader was.

I'm also impressed that this tyrannical reign has forced people to suicide, if I'd have done this much earlier on I wouldn't have had to wipe half of the country.

It's easy to talk shit when you're a nobody but I'm yet to shoot anyone for talking shit in the street, or opposing my view. That can be changed if you guys prefer it though.
