Eight_Fell_Over, I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and have conversations, however, I am beginning to think that you might be one of those trolls that we have been warned wander the streets from time to time. Hell, Godfather Fitz has probably done more to actually talk to the members of this thing of ours that any Godfather I have ever seen and has allowed more discussion that most would. 

The issue with someone like you is that you don't want a discussion - you want a platform from which to yell and shout and try and make sure that people pay attention to you. Make a solid point backed up with more than your opinion and without hyperbolic nonsense and/or ask actual questions and you might be surprised to find that you will get a respectful answer. How do I know you ask? Because I have seen it first hand. 

As for this latest addition to our fine crowd, Home_Run, you really should calm yourself before you give yourself an aneurysm. I mean, seriously are you listening to yourself? Tell me exactly, who are these big bad horrible people that are causing all of the problems in your life - because after all it can't possibly be you right?

Finally, a quick word to the Godfather. I, obviously, can't speak for everyone here but I think the majority of people did get the bigger message. However, I have to agree with Kathryn that by bringing in gender when it was unnecessary it derailed the message a bit. I, and others in my bloodline before me, have had the chance to work for you on multiple occasions and I have found you to be a man of honor and respect so I find it hard to believe your comment was meant as anything more than a lighthearted aside to an otherwise very serious issue; however, I think that the concern laid out by some (though not by the likes of those such as crazy eight here) is legitimate if a small thing compared to the larger issue you bring to bare.

 Eight, I hope you can recognize the difference between your fact-based speech and the other random nonsense you've been doing. You made some actual points without including distracting nonsense. Imagine how much more effective you'd have been if you started from that point instead of needing to be dragged there. 

Anyways, I said before that I'm largely done with this discussion. I am extremely hopeful that this is my final contribution here, but I feel compelled to do so because, as requested, you actually mentioned some facts. So here we go.

If you're getting accused of being a troll, it's because the low effort ridiculousness of many of your actions, rather than an actual contribution, is exactly what trolls do. You may not think the shoe fits, but you've certainly been trying it on for much of this discussion.

Based on your previous contributions, I strongly suspect otherwise. If you did like that, then why haven't you been dealing in facts instead of sensational nonsense this whole time?

Fitz has had 2 CL suicide - my info tells me both know this world well. One he threatened to not protect any family members of then did and the other he refused to protect the family of and got disgusting quoting mensturation as a likely reason. 

 Two CLs retiring is a fact. Absolutely. But "knowing this world well" seems subjective. There have been bloodlines here for decades that are fools, and there are new members to our world that display excellence. Even beyond that, longevity is not always talent or competence- and mistakes can be made even by the very experienced. 

But let's deal with what I consider the crux of your argument. If a Godfather has two CLs retire, doesn't that demand acknowledgement of this Godfather's flaws? Usually, you'd be absolutely correct. Authing someone is a statement of confidence. If FitzChivalry trusted me to run my own crew, and I decide to act like a shit then that negative affects him. This is, I think, one of the most interesting debates to be had in this thing of ours: how much responsibility does an individual bear for the conduct of his subordinates?

Unfortunately for your argument, this isn't that discussion. As far as I know, FitzChivalry did not pluck Anteros and LunaLovegood from the ranks of his soldiers and give them his blessing to set up shop. Instead, they volunteered to take their chances in the New Frontier cities, knowing the rules and risks (stops and makes a mental note to pay TsuDhoNimh his fee for the use of this phrase). 

I would submit there's a world of difference between giving someone the nod and expressing confidence that they can run their own crew as your auth, compared to letting someone sign up to prove themselves. These New Frontier cities exist to give some people the chance to prove themselves and other people the chance to fuck up. Anteros, if that's the other CL you're referring to, took a shot that she shouldn't have and paid the price. We could sit around all day and argue whether that should have been objectively okay or not- but it doesn't matter, because she signed up to run a crew in LA under the oversight of Vegas, and she obviously severely miscalcuated her action. Similarly, a debate over whether LunaLovegood had actually done enough to expand doesn't ultimately matter, because she failed to persuade the one person that she needed to- and she retired rather than endeavor to correct this perceived difference in success. 

So if you tell me that 2 authed crewleaders suicide for the same Godfather in two weeks, then I'm asking some questions about whether that city is running smoothly. If you tell me that two people who signed up for a New Frontier city suicide because one took an ill-advised shot and the other wanted to expand and got turned down... to me, that's just this open city project separating the wheat from the chaff. 

Also, every time you say "mensturation" a little piece of my brain dies. I don't usually pick on people's speaking habits, because it is the cheapest form of critique and it has nothing to do with the quality of a person's ideas (and we all make mistakes), but you've said this three times now and I feel like you should probably know how to pronounce this word for Life purposes.

Who said you aren't allowed to speak? You've been speaking. A LOT, if you haven't noticed. I've actually tried to encourage actual debate from you. I obviously don't know your motives and I can't see your heart, but many people in this circumstance seem to relish being a victim, feeling like they're silenced. The fact that you've spoken so very, very much should be evidence to the contrary.

I think that Bonkers and FitzChivalry have both had some good crewleaders in Los Angeles and Detroit. I seem to recall Bonkers having to remove three of his crewleaders for making a pact that backfired on them. Was that because Bonkers wasn't doing his job? Or was that because those three leaders made a major error and were removed because of it?
