BlackJack - Busting The House Started by: TsuDhoNimh on Mar 07, '17 22:03

Respect is a curious thing.

Saying you have it for someone, or for a group, is very different from showing you have it. The two can, when dealing with some people, be worlds apart. It's also not a binary thing. It's qualitative rather than quantitative and can be subjective at times. Other times, it's obvious as hell to anyone who looks if there is respect or if there's a great big gaping void where that respect should be. This thing of ours is built around respect as a fundamental tenant. Respect for the position. Respect for rank. Respect for this thing of ours itself. Where there isn't respect there is a great big problem.

So many of you coming here will be looking at BlackJack in the obits and wondering why it happened?

If you're not, why the hell are you here?

If you are, settle in and let me take you on a little bit of a journey. I could just post a single reason and be done with it. There's more than one that would give more than enough validation for a shot independent of the others, but it's in showing how each step occurred and how each one might have been avoided that will hopefully educate others from meeting the same fate or making the same mistakes. Sometimes lessons need a hard line in the sand to sink in. Hopefully, this one hits home.

The first issues arose some time back when The High Rollers took in a war Capo from New York by the name of Kush. This man hadn't been safe listed and had only survived the initial wave of attack due to a gun malfunction. The rest of the takedown went relatively smoothly and it would all be over and the now unsponsored associates safe to seek new refuge once the button man Kush was removed.

Before this could happen, it takes the shooter a few hours to fix those damn malfunctions in many cases, Kush wandered off and found refuge in The High Rollers headquarters. Many involved in the war were a little upset with this action, who the hell did a leader think they were offering button men sanctuary in the middle of a war... nevermind one that had already been shot at and without so much as a nod towards those waging the war, but it was pointed out that the man couldn't be touched for a few hours yet until that bun malfunction subsided so it was in everyone's best interest to protect innocent lives if he believed all was well and he could be later handled. Chicago was, afterall, responsible for the supervision of Detroit and with every Chicago leader all agreed on the steps required there was no major issue. It would be done. With good ol' Tsu happy to take on the donkey work of seeing it happen.

The shot was taken. The man was removed. BlackJack was informed of the situation and all was well in the world.

....

Except, someone in Detroit felt different.

Someone in Detroit, a Goomba that was an associate of the family and not even a member, decided to take it upon themselves to speak up. That's fair enough, to be honest. I like to see people speak their minds and show initiative. As long as it's done with intelligence and in the right way it's can be an incredibly positive thing to see that suggests skills in leadership and determination. However, when it's done without intelligence and without due care and respect it's far from a positive thing. It's a very silly thing. To start suggesting to senior members of Chicago that following a war, which had left their members exhausted and spent, they should have taken the time to not only inform BlackJack and his upper structure, who had already been informed, but every other active member of Detroit of what had happened was nothing short of moronic.

SebasianSky, son of a former right hand of BlackJack and one that clearly still had notions of his father's lofty position, went out of his way to throw idiotic statements and nonsense at two senior figures in Chicago while making these demands. He was lucky he did lack his father's position or his comments could have lead to far more serious consequences. As it was, Mattsr was kind enough to wave off the ramblings as nothing more than a minor annoyance and move on quickly.

The impact of this, however, is that weeks later when we're dealing with the removal of that family, this is still in my mind. This disrespect, from someone that clearly carried lofty ambitions of once again reclaiming his father's position, went out of his way to hurt his relationship with those around them. That's not just dangerous, it's stupid. Please don't ever do this if you're not keen to die in a hasty manner.

It wasn't helped either by the complete failure of the family uppers to acknowledge or respond to the notice of what had happened or why.

Were they pissed off with Chicago? Were they annoyed with me personally? Were they upset for their fallen soldier inspite of him being a made member of another city who only ran to them for cover after a shot went wrong? Were they happy things were now resolved and content with the situation?

I'll be honest here and say I didn't much care. We had enough work to be getting on with at the time without me distracting myself with things happening in Detroit. But from their point of view they shouldn't have been ignoring it and should have been actively trying to use the event, which had left a sour taste in the mouths of many of the Chicago and Las Vegas leaders that had put in action the attack on New York, to gain favor rather than simply lose it. The fact that I remember it is a bad sign. It's a red flag. It isn't a reason for a war or a death, but it's starting to raise questions and bring things into doubt.

Next up, we'll bump into a familiar face, again doing himself and his family no favors on IRC avenue...

[20:02:44] <TsuDhoNimh> you're not a lh or rh
[20:02:48] <TsuDhoNimh> so it won't let you in
[20:03:05] <SebasianSky> well thats annoying since blackjack sent me
[20:03:15] <TsuDhoNimh> it's tied to activation of position
[20:03:18] <TsuDhoNimh> he shouldn't have :P
[20:03:24] <TsuDhoNimh> literally need to be a hand
[20:03:53] <SebasianSky> pain in my ass would be if it hadnt of been for some random ahole
[20:04:31] <TsuDhoNimh> many would still be GFs but for the same :P
[20:05:08] <SebasianSky> true what ever going back to sleep tahn

Now this one is far more subtle, but it's starting to illustrate a pattern here.

I'd taken the time to reach out to the man, to offer a little help and guidance and instead of a quick "Ohhh, thanks. Didn't realise" I get a little bit of bitching that someone had killed his father. This one doesn't attack me, it doesn't attack my city or my family, it just shows a lack of respect in general. That isn't ok. When you're a family in the New Frontier or even just a senior member of a family in general, you have to do better. When your moves and your actions are being judged at every turn you really want 'that' to be your first interaction with another senior member of this thing of ours after that member became aware of the bitching and moaning you did some time earlier? Not good, not clever. A bad taste left in the mouth. More red flags.

I haven't forgotten this, which is never a good sign.

Next, we move onto a more recent incident. One that never should really have been an incident, but sadly turned into one.

Mar 03, 06:21:07    You tried to WACK! Awesomeboy13
That's an event from my CA.

[06:21:08] <&MafiaReturns> New York, Brooklyn's FBN are out for blood, they are still on the hunt to lay down the law.

The notice from #dl showing it was retaliation for a shot on a NY CA.

Guy should have come forward with it straight away. :/

Not a major problem, all of this can be resolved pretty easily. Right?

So let's look what has happened here.

Someone has shot at a New York Corrupt Agent. Those guys make us money, money makes us happy, someone shooting at our guys makes us unhappy.

After shooting at the agent, they went to ground and ignored it. This made me have to chase up on it hours later. I don't like chasing up on stuff. It's work. I don't like work. Borkers likes work even less than I do. This makes me, therefore everyone around me, and therefore 'us' unhappy.

Sent as BlackJack by SebasianSky.
Ah crap, do we know if he managed to kill a CA? if so i'll reimburse if a CA was killed. he is  still new so i'll be taking his gun and leaving the rest to blackjack.

This wasn't fully expected.

I'll be honest and admit Sebastian surprised me here. He handled it all excellently. Maybe I'd been wrong about him? He was prompt. Apologetic. Took ownership of it. All the things you'd want to see a good leader do in this situation. He'd improved his standing in my mind dramatically. A man I had very little knowledge of and to this point had low expectations of did a great job. Genuine understanding and regret. Genuine interest in the details and keen to get it all resolved quickly and then leave the finer details to his boss.

Perfect hand work there. For a man I'd had nothing but poor run-ins with previously, this was a breath of fresh air.

So then, time passed.

A good bit of time passed.

I see AwesomeBoy (or w/e) is active.

Has he cleared up which CA he shot at and how/why it happened yet?

TTime passed and I'd almost forgot about the incident. The war had swept over Chicago, Valentines Day's chaos had distracted us all so there were lots of potential reasons why it might have slipped BlackJack's mind as well as my own. When I remember that the issue was still unresolved and I'd never heard back, I reached out to get an update.

This is where things quickly went sideways. In a situation where all I wanted was to be assured an idiot with a gun had learned a serious lesson and wouldn't be a threat to me or mine again, something that would have been very easy to achieve with only a little effort, I instead ended up irritated and questioning the decisions of a leader.

He cant remember who and says he deleted the logs - he also said it wont happen again and now he understands what they are and why not to shoot them

That's poor. That's really damn poor. "Now he knows not to shoot 'em, so it's just fine that he shot at it before". That's not how shit works at all. At this stage, I've gone from someone that just wanted to know the gun was now under control to someone that was pissed off. That isn't good enough by half. And it's seldom a clever idea to piss me off.

He should also figure out he needs to understand that before shooting at one of ours, not after shooting at it.

The fact that he failed to kill it doesn't change him shooting at it. And the fact that he deleted the event doesn't remove it from happening. It just puts more work on me having to chase up about it further.

Has he figured out how he intends to make up for it yet?

I'm pretty direct and honest. I tend not to bullshit. I made it clear I wasn't happy, mostly as I wasn't happy. That isn't a suitable 'fix' to this mess. I didn't get an update on it. I didn't get an apology from the person responsible. I still haven't heard anything that even suggests the member has been reprimanded for it. Not a happy camper. Let's see if the kid in question can make amends and avoid me requesting his death. I'm not a fan of letting gun slips go lightly punished, it sets the wrong example for everyone in this thing of ours, but certain honest mistakes can be forgiven if appropriate reactions show the regret and remorse required.

What do you propose?

He is a new member to the business and is being trained - we have removed his gun from him while we explain it all to him to help him learn.

There was a mistake yes - but there is no harm.

If that was left as a simple "What do you propose?" things could have been so much easier. Following it up by telling me "there is no harm" shot that in the foot, though. You can't tell others when they've been impacted and when they haven't. At this stage, this mess has cost me far more time and effort than it ever should have. Many may not value their time, I do. I disagree, strongly.

Having not had him come forward with his mistake, admit it and apologize for doing it... I'd view it differently, to be honest.

I value my time. Greatly. Having to chase up with my guys to try and find which CA got hit. Having to follow up with WSs to find which CAs were shooting and who they were shooting at. Then having to follow up twice with regards the shooter. I'd say there was harm done, for sure.

He needs to know fuck ups of this magnitude have consequences.

He needs to know that if you fuck up and don't come forward with it it has consequences.

He needs to know if he makes someone jump through hoops to resolve his fuck up it has consequences.

I'd definitely suggest getting him to figure out how he might try and resolve it though. If you leave it in my hands he's not one of mine and I don't care what happens to him bar being punished for wasting my time and energy. I'll say kill the bastard without a seconds pause or hesitation. You know me, I'm a stickler for rules.

So I'd get him to come up with a proposal rather than putting it in my hands. I've no soft side.

At this point in time, BlackJack took the decision to meet me on IRC Avenue. It's possible he realized he'd made a slip, could see I was unhappy and wished to make amends... right? Right?

[23:39:51] <Satanta> well, if he'd killed*
[23:40:03] <Satanta> I still didn't know up until this evening
[23:40:05] <BlackJack> it may have been a CA from a fallen person from NY
[23:40:07] <BlackJack> never know

[23:43:00] <BlackJack> oh well
[23:43:30] <BlackJack> until you can show me damage - no one owe you anything more

At this point, I was pretty much lost for words.

He was dictating terms to us? Really? Fair enough. His decision. A poor one, but if it was his decision he could live with it. I'll leave it and see how ol' Borkers feels about it.

Personally, I tend to lean on the old PewPewPew direction pretty often, so maybe the boss will see some redeeming features or mitigating circumstances I missed.

I'd every intention of talking him out of them if he had, but that's pretty much a moot point now as before the ink in relation to all the above had even dried I'd received a little more information.

In the aftermath of the Valentines Day chaos, we could all see the results of what had happened.

New York had put together a team that had gone on to achieve some solid results. Against incredible opponents from Las Vegas and Los Angelas it was a constant battle, but absolutely incredible work from KyloRen, RosabellaCorti and more guys than I could possibly mention ensured the team done really well. On the back of that selfless leadership, taking time away from their own performance and personal results so that the team may prosper we were able to drive on to consistent and incredible results. It was all because of the teamwork. It was all because nobody put themselves ahead of the team. It was all because people like Kylo and Rosabella were willing to hurt their own earnings and their own results to know that they were helping guys that were equally willing to make the same sacrifices. Right?

Sadly, not the case.

As soon as the results came out it was quite obvious some weren't following the requests and the orders being given for the team and were doing their own thing for selfish reasons. I'm not a petty man, but I'll admit I was pretty fucking angry looking at them. I'd worked my ass off, I'd had others work their asses off too putting my own work to shame, and others thought it was ok to ignore the team and do their own thing?

Not cool. Not clever. Myopic and nothing short of idiotic. Cards were marked and I knew which people would not receive assistance or support in the future. Maybe it was an honest mistake, maybe they thought their actions were still helping the team and didn't realise they were hurting those that were protecting them and maybe it was all an honest misunderstanding.

Right?

<BlackBlack> yeah DT is tight :P
<Curtis> Like I said, I don't much care, it was more the city that wanted to do it
<Curtis> I only played three rounds
<BlackBlack> yeah
<BlackBlack> was fun anyway
<Curtis> You guys work with LA on it?#
<BlackBlack> nope
<BlackBlack> we had eyes in NY though
<BlackBlack> which was a major help
<Curtis> Aye it would be. I think every city had eyes in LV lol
<BlackBlack> we more or less piggy backed NY until we had more than 50%
<BlackBlack> we would get them to clean up our attackers and let them lead into battles
<BlackBlack> then follow a min later to avoid being bit in the opening waves
<Curtis> crafty
<BlackBlack> haha
<BlackBlack> it was

Eyes in New York? More or less piggy backed?

Fuck no! You're having a laugh. I'm calling bullshit right here.

The group you worked to fuck over carried you and your shit kickers through. You were allowed into a group out of sympathy and friendship, a friendship I'm fairly sure the person in question now greatly regrets. You were allowed into it as you were trusted enough to have enough judgment and sense to work with the team, to help the team and ensure the team all benefited from your inclusion.

So then you're running around, behind our backs, saying you had an eye in the room? Saying that you just 'piggy backed'? Saying you were crafty to go out of your way to fuck us over and steal rewards from us? Admitting to someone that has been a close personal friend of mine for more years than these shores have had organized crime on them that you'd fucked me over? And you think that's ok? Really?

Some of us have standards. Some of us aren't happy being assholes and aren't happy with others being assholes. When you start laughing about me, about my boss and about all of New York behind our backs, to someone that's a hell of a lot friendlier with us than he is with you, you've shown a level of stupidity that means you're not fit to be a leader and not fit to be alive. To go that far and do something that unthinkably dim is nothing short of suicide. BlackJack, you just went bust.

To all those that will moan this was done because earning and rewards from Valentines Day. Stop. Look back over the excruating detail provided. It was simply the latest in a long string of events that showed a lact of respect from the man. He took the trust that had been shown in him and threw it back in the faces that had stood up for him when others wished to remove him from leadership for prior misteps. When you bite the hand that protects you you die. Plain and simple. Respect is important. Respect is vital. When it's lacking, people die. You can't disrepect me multiple times in a short period and not expect a reaction. When you disrespect our entire city you're having a laugh if you think you'll survive.

To those throwing crocodile tears over the loss of lower members and associates in the family, save your efforts. Having had more than one conversation with people that said they've learned how to fool the system. Learned that if they simply sit back and don't seek to progress in this thing of ours to elevated positions they can live forever. To those that say if they can find a leader to let them idle and hide as a low ranking nobody. This is what happens when you pick the wrong leader, this is what happens when you try and outsmart those around you and this is what happens when you really piss people off.

Rest in peace to the fallen. I hope their kin have better luck in choosing a leader.

Warm hugs and fuzzy kisses,

Tsu.

Report Post Tips: 5 / Total: $760,000 Tip

She hands BlackBlack a special cookie for the road.

Here, take this.. It'll help you with your OOCitis.

Report Post Tip

Holy cow that was a long one!

Report Post Tip
Another bull crap reason to remove a complete family.

You sir have no honor what so ever bringing personal messages to the street like this is pretty low and shows weak moral courage.

Enough said for now.
Report Post Tip

I have great honor. Unlike some.

I respect my family. I respect my city and I respect this thing of ours. I also respect those around me and those I work with. That's much more than can be said for others.

Family business isn't personal, it has every place here in discussion between peers and friends of ours. Especially when it's gross mismanagement of family business.

If you mean the personal messages where he laughs at many of us behind our backs? We're happy to waive our right to privacy and share what was said about us. We were pretty upset. He waived his right to privacy there when he made the mistake of badmouthing the work of those that helped him behind their backs. There's something called a reasonable expectation of privacy, that goes out the fucking window when you bad mouth people behind their backs.

"Enough said for now". I'm not sure you actually said anything. Care to try again? I'm not even sure which of the various reasons that led to this result you're suggesting is bullcrap. They're all true. They're all grounds for what happened. Unless you can refute one, I'd suggest your anger is a little misplaced at my words. Perhaps aim them at my personality or my sexy elbows? You might have more luck.

Report Post Tip

Well that was fucking boring as hell to “listen to”

Interesting topic at hand respect. The funny thing about that is it’s different to everyone what my family believes is respect is apparently different from what some little shit with a napoleon complex thinks. Worst part was napoleon was a great conquer and you’re just great under a desk.

I personally wasn’t going to bother coming out here but with BlackBlack receiving a cookie for a condition that your speech also shows signs of.

First off the matter of Kush, my father didn’t even ask suggest that ever member of Detroit be informed, he suggested informing the upper structure of Detroit as he had hands and CLs coming to him wondering about the death of one of Detroit’s members like hopefully any city would be concerned about one of their own dying. Obviously wasn’t the case in Chicago. My father didn’t even start the argument he was friends with the shooters right hand and asked and was trying to work it out he went to her as a friend since he didn’t have the position of his father yet, though if our world was like the old days and allowed those under made man to be a right hand he would of so its kind of a moot point.

Your meeting the help was appreciated, and if you took my fathers annoyed tone at Blackjack as towards you than you might and obviously do take yourself way too seriously.

The V-Day proceedings was the final straw in your attempt to get rid of BlackJack because your little pride demanded it. If BlackBlack was removed from the crowd for his OOCitis than you should be as well as the Gods are we still calling them Gods? Suspended the ability to make money on drugs, and to shoot one enough for 24 hours taking us from business as usuall to something dare I say it Out of Character for us? So why remove one without the other?

We must have bruised your ego pretty bad for you to wipe out an entire crew from earners up. Sounds kind of petty to me. So for now I shall retire from this life and I may return on the day when I get to return to these streets and listen to the reason you pathetic self-annoys the wrong person.

At least Vegas comes out and says that they wanted to anyway.

Sorry for boring you all and have a good time.

Report Post Tip

I could happily have said "They died because they didn't respect us and were a bit dim" and left it at that. It would have saved me a lot of time and meant I didn't have to strain my voice half as much. Sadly, people would whine.

Those same Gods that you seem so terribly worried about end up having to deal with an awful lot of crap and nonsense when people die. Their friends and their kin make up all sorts of stories and conspiracy theories on why the sky fell or why the lava erupted from the earth as they curse and they pray to the gods.

Personally, as a fairly god like creature myself, I feel bad for those other gods. They've enough shit to be dealing with without me adding further screaming ranting's in their direction, as people cry about losing winnings they earned during the Valentines Day activities. You remember those? The riots that broke out on the streets? People disguising their faces with masks and alternative identities? Large groups of people teaming up so they could make the most of all the looting and crime taking place? You seem to have forgotten them a little or become confused by them. There is nothing we're not very able to discuss here in the streets, though, including those riots. It's our God-given right, some might say. They were quite scary, those riots. I understand. That's probably why many of your family chose to hide behind some of the hard workers from New York. It's cool. We get it.

So in order to avoid all of the kin of the fallen, you know the salty religious types, pestering the gods with stories of how their family died for nothing more than a few items taken during the riots and no other reason, I had to spell it out. I had to spell it out in excruciating detail. I hope others can learn from it, though, so at least some good can come of it.

As for that being a friend? Seriously. If that's how a friend is treated I'd hate to see how regular folk get on. It was an overstep. It didn't go down well. It wouldn't have led to a death, obviously, but when placed in the context of everything else that happened and the various levels of disrespect shown repeatedly. It's very relevant all the same. As with the conversation on IRC Avenue, it isn't the fact that the question was asked.... it's the manner in which it was asked and the way in which person being asked was spoken to.

You can literally ask anything around here if you're clever about it. That's the important part.

Yes, my ego is dented.

Bruised badly. It's a constant risk. When you have an ego this damn big, and great, it's in constant danger. I do love my ego, though. It's super. The only thing better than my ego is my modesty. Yeah, of all my incredible qualities I love my modesty the most.

Honesty stepped up to the most devilishly handsome man he's ever met.

"This was too long for something that could have been easily explained in a paragraph or two. Personally, I love reading, which is why when starting to read this, I thought to myself, "Ooh, a Potato." Clearly, I am wrong again. Being wrong the first time was when I decided to change my name from Honesty to -Honesty."

The good looking guy nodded.

"I would love to read a Potato right now. Talking about potatoes, I'm hungry. Rip to to fallen few."

Honesty says bye to the hottest person he's ever seen and walks away from the mirror.

While I have to admit that I didn't actually read all of this.  Here is what I got out of what I did read.  wah wah wah.  I'm a big bawl baby.  Boo hoo hoo.  What an idiot you are.

That's a little harsh Marta

SebastianSky is simply speaking up for his father's fallen family. I'm not sure I'd be that harsh on him. Poor kid. Still in mourning and everything.

Hands TsuDhoNimph a tissue.

Did I seriously just get called a baby?

Tsu you did what you had to do.  One person can only take so much.  The last move Blackjack made crossed the line and he had to go. I applaud you for the amount of patience you had. I am for one glad you went into detail about .You could of left it short and sweet people would still complain. R..I.P to Blackjack he was good people from what i knew of him .

Victor steps up to the crowd, usually keeping quiet on matters like this, he decided to add something quickly before parting.

"When has complaining about your parent's deaths after these speeches ever accomplished anything besides providing entertainment to some, and annoyance to others. What's done is done. Complaining, or contesting things won't bring back the fallen. May their souls rest in peace."

Victor, having said his piece, took a few steps back, and let the pointless arguments resume.

Old school is in effect concerning the rationale behind a war. I am going to guess that it was imperative to you that  the audiencebe assured you did not opt to go guns a blazing immediately upon learning of the attempt on a CA's life.  You were willing to talk business.  I am impressed.

I do not agree with how the report was delivered but in light of the state of affairs (no need to explain)  this was not a bad thing.  I see this as a ways and means to assure all this was not just another paranoid episode.

I always enjoy a good thorough explanation of the reasoning used to take out another leader or a city. So much so that I had too giddily stand out here and say so.

Needless to say (but obviously, I will), it looks well warranted.

A shot on your city is never to be taken lightly, whether someone was lost or not. Only a fool would. Everything else was just gift wrapping a faily well iced cake.

I don't have a strong opinion on the goings on of the day, but I do have an opinion regarding the lengthy explanation. When someone comes out and explains why they felt an act of war was necessary, when they clearly took a lot of time to put a detailed lengthy speech together, I actually applaud that. Right, wrong or indifferent I appreciate being given the details and given insight as to what happened and why. When you don't have a lot of contacts in this world and can't get the local gossip it's nice to be told and see (I do have 20/20 vision in my one eye) what others are thinking, how things are run and what is acceptable and what isn't by those that hold the power in our world.

Rest In Peace to the fallen. I hope your children step up, find jobs and live long prosperous lives.

I have a few comments to make on this matter. To begin, I think Tsu's detailed explanation was wonderful but we live in a world where it's damned if you do or damned if you don't. He gives all the details and people say it's too much. If he had given a brief reason, there would have been people out here saying it's not enough. You'll never truly please everyone in this world.

Secondly, this once again goes to the favor system. Tsu has described a series of events that steadily led to BlackJack falling out of favor as a crew leader. Whatever favor he may have had, New York felt that the actions he took over the past few days were enough for him to lose that favor completely. Personally, hearing how he bragged about piggybacking off of the extremely hard work and dedication of some New York members is enough for him to lose my favor, not that my own voice by itself matters that much. We tried to help the smaller cities as we know that sheer numbers alone would be on our side and the side of Las Vegas. He decided to take that help and throw it in our faces.

Yes, the entire crew was wiped. Agree or disagree with the decision, it was a lesson to the leader. There is nothing harder for a crew leader then to see their crew members wiped out. The responsibility that you take on when you become a crew leader is to protect your crew; sometimes that means swallowing your pride and working with people who are in charge even if you don't agree with what they're saying. As Tsu said, if BlackJack had simply said "what do you propose" then maybe today would never have happened. If BlackJack had offered something more than “no harm” then perhaps his crew wouldn’t be dead. He said that the member who committed the offense was new and had to learn. Well, BlackJack had to learn too and he learned in the hardest way possible.

Thank you TsuDhoNimh for your long explanation of things of ours and how things evolved. I appreciate you tolerated someone's errors for quite some time, first and biggest of was don't fuck with the wrong people. If I was on my deceased friend place, whose name appears on my profile, I would have killed the offender to teach him his error (with words too) and offered you some slight monetary compensation, for the moral suffering of the CA in question, and maintaining good relationships. He didn't do that. He was wrong. He fucked up. I understand it.

Now I am displeased with your V-Day mixing in it. Maybe I missed some rounds, but those I participated in, I have the impression of the fact my Over-Boss Disorder said: "I think every city had eyes in LV ". DT did help you there. At least DT. Just admit it, or say I was on some substances during the event. If I was, I would be there during all of each 8 rounds despite my current human flue. I won't brag further by overall rating: The Strip #1, Paradise #2, even if you, DT, and potentially some other cities, or its individuals won the majority of rounds, etc... If I was a bad looser, maybe I would seek the death of those who helped my virtual enemies during a virtual event. Now about that, you can say I was on some substances, coz overall we didn't loose the event.

I say that in the spirit of friendly competitiveness and good faith, with all due respect. I am sure the late friend of mine Jaryll, known for his open thinking, would appreciate my words here too.

Peace.
