As you have probably noticed, the cities of Los Angeles, New Orleans and Chicago have decided to make a move against the city of Philadelphia.

The reasons for doing this are fairly straight forward:

- We disliked the attitude shown by Philly.
- We believed Philly to be a threat to Los Angeles, New Orleans and Chicago.
- We had the means of getting the job done.

The attitude of the Philly structure and senior members was largely provocative and arrogant. This was exhibited in street conversations on numerous occassions and no attempt was made their Godfather to reign them in and he indeed acted the peacock on occassion, strutting around and casting his opinion.

It is no secret that Philly was a stacked city. What I mean by this is long established guns, belonging to highly ranked members, with copious amounts of bodyguards. We believed our relationship with Philly to be close to breaking point and we believed, rightly or wrongly that Philly would make a move on Los Angeles sooner or later.

Most of all though, this wasn't a case of "good guys vs bad guys" or anyone doing a noble deed. We decided that we did not want to work with current regime in Philly any longer and we had the tools at our disposal to get the job done.

We lost some trusted friends and we would say that the unsponsored from George_Costanza's crew now fall under our protected. We would ask that you holster your weapons on anyone with a home city of Los Angeles, just to be certain.

Regarding Philadelphia unsponsoreds at the rank of wise guy or below - they are allowed to find a home wherever they see fit.

Raising a glass to Space Dante cheers.

Whats had to be done was done, and compleated with efficency, we morn thoses we have lost.
But over all I would call today a fine day for the citys LA, CH, and NO.

Report Post Tip

a straightforward display of logic and pragmatism. The old guard nor the way they conducted business was favoured; steps were taken to ensure this was not an issue. It's not the honourable, pretty romantic mafia stories you get in Hollywood - but hey, this is real life. This is La cosa nostra.

My respects to those who fell, our associates on the west coast lost good men today, and we share in their grief.

Salut, darlings!

The attitude of the members of Philly lately have been nothing short of unacceptable. It was only a matter of time before someone took action and i am proud that my city, along with our friends from Chicago and New Orleans stood up and done the right thing. Philly didn't seemto have any morals which is entirely to blame on the uper structure, they really only have themselves to blame. LA/CH/NO had to do what was in the interest of their cities, and for that i applaud each and every one of you involved in todays activities.

Honest words. Seen times again. A threat has to be taking care of. War are never easy but they have to be carried out.

Rest in Peace to the ones who have died.

Report Post Tip

Tssss. I laughed hard when hearing that, seriously. Thank you to entertain the (soon dead) survivors, SpaceMountain, I appreciate that :).

Report Post Tip

I'm glad you are entertained.

Report Post Tip

I've been entertained since 2am.

Best mornings work in a long time.

The funniest reason I have seen for a long time in MR.

I still remember that Tyrion thread about encouraging people in the streets, and I guess now it is best not to speak in the streets, because that might cause you your life. So it is better to lock your lips and play this game.

And saying about it has been a good victory (it makes me laugh ) three against one, and without any warning, even an idiot would say who will win.

Report Post Tip

The_Jest. Funniest reply in 7.

I'll go through this point by point.

1. There is a difference between encouraging people in the streets and being a complete asshat billy big bollocks. What I am doing right now is being a big bollocks after the fight is won. I find that kid of acceptable. Talking down to everyone, including leaders of cities, when you think you are untouchable is not the way to go. As Philly learnt on this fine morning.

2. 3 on 1. Yes. And? What would you rather happen? We all line up and have a duel? You do what you can to portect all your members. When will people learn that this world isn't fair and you do what you can to protect your own and kill the others?

Oh. Only two points. Ah well. Hope this clears things up.

Report Post Tip

Ah Jest, I noticed you've reference my darling old friend Tyrion. I'd like, if you may forgive a gentleman's harmless indulgence, to quote Tyrion on the topic of 'so you want to be a leader':

A good place to start is to follow a simple mental process. If you feel you have something to say, say it in your head first. Then look back over what you thought to say as if it was written by someone else. If you can read it without cringing or thinking "Someone should shoot that dick" then you may be halfway to making a valid contribution.

It seems this fairly logical approach was not one that sat well with too many members of the Philadelphia syndicates. There is nothing wrong with contributions, my dear boy, but acting like a wanker will get you shot fairly sharpish I'd feel!

Common darling Scandia, prove me one debate in streets that allows you to "declare a war" and take down an entire city.

I would like t advise all the new players that if you want to play this game safe then lock your lips and play this game.

And I am not angry because we did what we loved to, and this is your time to smile right now s have a laugh, and I will laugh out loudly when you will be crying (history always repeats it self). :)

"Common darling Scandia, prove me one debate in streets that allows you to "declare a war" and take down an entire city."

You will probably find this amusing but I have absolutely no idea what that means. So I will take a guess at the statement being "One debate cannot be a reason for war"

If that was that or anything near then the answer is very simple. The city of Philly decided to walk round and offer out uneeded amounts of arrogance in the face of all other cities in various places in this world. I can name two occasions off hand in which the Godfather himself got into arguments and took the high and mighty route. It was put up with for only so long. When it got worse, members followed and nothing was done. Action was taken.

My advice to new people to these shores is feel free to speak in the streets but, as has always been the case, your actions bring consequences so use your head before engaging your mouth.

As for the 'what goes around, comes around thing' c'est la vie my little poodle. I'll live it up for a few weeks yet.

Report Post Tip

Well. It seems some people find us "arrogant and provocative". It's a point of view, and it may be true for some us (I don't really know, I was one of the ones not really involved in the streets). We could debate days on it, it won't change the situation. But a city killing another for such a point of view is, in my opinion, a (far) greater danger than a city that may be speaking a bit too loud sometimes. Anyway. Choices are made, things are done.

Report Post Tip

A far greater danger to who or what exactly? Our thing is about profit, and when certain outfits are bringing unwanted attention and creating tension where it is not necessary - that is bad for business.

I wish some people would begin to understand the most basic concepts of this life.

Report Post Tip

prove me one debate in streets that allows you to "declare a war" and take down an entire city.

Power allowed us to do that. Nothing more, nothing less. We tried, we passed the test. There is no need to micro-analyse the reasons these cities were collectively not happy with Philly, it was just so. Action was taken to remedy it. I'm nice though, so I'm going to give you an example anyway. In a recent discussion, part of a retort CrazyNine made when addressing a Los Angeles Don, was as follows (referring to himself):

He'll be able to get his shot ready in time if there's any loud mouth that needs to be shutting up forever.

This is one example, of many shows of bravado that exist recently, to the point where tensions between the cities were very clear. That is fine if you have the power to get away with it. History now shows us that CrazyNine wasn't quite that powerful yet. One loud mouth needed shutting up though, granted.

This has nothing to do with not being able to debate in the streets. It's always been the case that you should know how to do it properly and that includes taking into account who you are talking to. If you don't, that's fine, but you accept that there may be consequences.

That said, I don't want this to go down the route of excuse or minor tit for tat. Philly were coming over as a threat, LA/CHI/NO addressed that rather than sitting and waiting. End of story really. Some you win, some you lose. Today we won.

Conclusionary statement:

We cannot change the past, so quit belly-aching. America was founded on those who have the power enforcing thier ideas, never heard anyone complain about it then. You've brought up the same argument seeral times after it's been discredited.

Thank you, have a nice day.

Ah, one thing i meant to mention walking into a building and saying hello is acceptable, walking in and yelling "FIRE!" is not. ther-of, think of what you say and actions have consequences.

Report Post Tip

Pokes his head from the top floor of a abandoned building.. watching roaming death crews searching and killing every mobster he grew up with.. the scene reminds you of your worst nightmare..

We live in a harsh world.. where what you do can get you killed and what you dont do can get you killed.. No matter what feelings we hold, in the end those who put us in the ground will in due time join us and the world will evolve and revolve and it never ends..

This aint no CP moment, 3 cities vs one and we all know the odds. See "you in the funny pages"
