Squire's death Started by: Hickey on Aug 02, '10 16:19

TheSmilingAssassin, in all fairness, i don't care if Squire was a saint. He refused to negotiate with a DON. All to satisfy his ego and to test his power. This was not done to satisfy Hickey's gun. Maybe you should have a word with your ego.

I am not saying Hickey was right or wrong for what he did. I am just stating that gangsters lately have been running around lately with very little loyalty to their original family head.

It has been becoming a problem.

Report Post Tip

Sammy, once you have joined a family you are granted access to the family HQ where alot of information is spread around. Including things like who is in charge of the hitters of the family, and so on. Now I know if i was a CL i would not like that information getting about. Especially to CL's from different citys. Now the second good reason is. Disrespect. If I was a made man and a don told me to kill another made man, and there was a good reason I do it! If someone that has authority over me tells me to do something and it is authed and justified I will do it!.

Report Post Tip

With respect, not too big a problem, Eusebio. Just shoot them.

Report Post Tip

Or their crewleaders, Lucid. Seems to have been a fairly effective solution in this instance anyway.

Report Post Tip

I have to be honest, I find it quite disturbing that we have to have a debate on whether or not this killing was justified. In my humble view the punishment that was meted was completely fair and justified under the circumstances.

And as a message to various people who have come to these streets and questioned this decision on the part of Don Hickey - What do you think gives you the right to cast judgement whether or not this was a fair reaction?

Report Post Tip

"Hun-Hun, if Hickey know mails me with a Made Man's name, and his location, told me to kill him and his reasons. Why should I do it? Hickey has no authority over me, he is part of a completely different crime syndicate to me, in a different city. Now, if TheDean, Evangeline or their RH/LHMen were to tell me this, it would be another matter entirely. Also, I think that Hickey should have maybe talked to TheDean, as Squire was his auth, and with Squire being away from his mailbox, TheDean may have been able to resolve the matter easily."

Report Post Tip

Hickey,
I think, that if you are going to come out here and justify killing a family leader, then you should at least tell the whole story, what was said to Squire, what Squire's reply was ..yes, I know, you are in a position to do as you want so it seems, but perhaps if you were to explain all of this in your original speech which you voluntary came out here and told us, then perhaps more people will be on your side.

It's a shame that someone else mailed me and convinced me that you were indeed correct by your actions and I apologize for disrespecting you, but I don't apologize for what I said because your speech was so short and vague, you would be silly to expect anything less.

Report Post Tip

It's not part of any of my business. But, Hickey did what he think he had to do. He made the desicion. And now we can't go back and change it. What is done is done. That's all I got to say.

Makes a small smile. And pulls out a diet Mt Dew.

Report Post Tip

With all due respect, I doubt the matter could have been resolved any easier. The man was a CL, he knew what to do and what not to do, and the consequences of his decisions. The kill was righteous and justified.

Report Post Tip

Sammy, listen more cafefully please. I was using hickey as a example. I said a Don and authed and reason'ed Anyone that has authority over you. Also Gwarble authed the killing... So thats a Godfather telling him to do something.

Report Post Tip

Aye, that too Branston, good shout.

Report Post Tip

"Hun-Hun, same difference, you're not seeing what I'm saying. Was Hickey Squire's Don? No. Is Gwarble Squire's Godfather? No. Whereas Gwarble is Hickey Godfather, to the extent he authed him, not actually the Godfather of Chicago, I still do not believe he has the authority to issue the killing of a Made Man from a different city, under a different Godfather. What ever happened to Godfather's discussing things? Gwarble could have spoken to TheDean about this, who is as much involved as Gwarble. Now, he could of done this, but not that I know of."

Report Post Tip

Hun-Hun, you know nothing of what I have or have not said or ordered. Don't guess and attempt to pass it off as fact. This is likely to annoy me.

Hickey is a Don in Chicago. Hickey had an issue that he felt he needed to deal with and he has now dealt with. This had nothing to do with Philadelphia.

Report Post Tip

As I said I am not going to get into detail. I had mailed the member that left my family. To be honest he was very disrespectful. I didnt think twice of making the a decision and I mailed his CL. His CL questioned my proof at first and the member was mailing me at that time.....

Although the member did not sign the rules, he had disrepected me by leaving my family. Nobody leaves the family without permission or a bullet in there head. Squire did not think it was the best thing to do and I had the feeling he was not going to take any action at all. I waited for a while and I decided to take him out. I know it was the right decision and its done now.

If you try to convince a CL to leave this gangster alone just because he is a low ranked player then you better have the balls to bet your life on him.

Report Post Tip

Sammy, apparently he does have the authority. It's been done. Not entirely sure why you're so upset about it.

Whatever happened to things being discussed? Hickey tried by the sound of it. Whatever happened to CL's exercising some wisdom? They used to get shot for that. Oh wait, still do.

Report Post Tip

Gwarble, I would like to appologise for what i stated earlier, I was told by someone it was authed, and i see i was incorrect. I in no way wanted to annoy you.

Report Post Tip

"You knew it was the right decision? Evidently not, if it has caused this much fuss. I would probably go as far as saying it's the wrong decision. Now, of course, I don't know EXACTLY what was said between you two, or who the discussions involved for that matter, but as a basic situation. I'd say it was the wrong decision. That's my opinion."

Report Post Tip

"Lucid, the part I said about discussing things was based on the face that Gwarble had authed this, now Gwarble has said that didn't happen. And I was talking about Godfathers discussing things, as they are the people in charge of cities, not Don's and Made Men."

Report Post Tip

I wouldn't call this a fuss. More an after-show party.
