Yes it is out of control.

Tbh I dont mind it. Most people these days tend to shop as they go through the year so that they spread the cost, so having the other bits and bobs available sooner helps wtih that.

Not like we're being forced to buy stuff.

Not for me. I feel it drags out the season too long and makes people get fed up of it.

Like every holiday it come to the money. The actual meanings of holidays have been long lost.

The more money the masses spend in response, the earlier the season will get.

Beautiful how the market works, isn't it? The real problem is dealing with the mindset of everyone buying into a massive consumerist holiday.

There is a god damn order to the Holidays! While I love Christmas and all... it needs to get the fuck back into it's lane and not show up until after god damn Thanksgiving!

Christmas shopping, music, decorating and holiday shows are best after Thanksgiving. 

The annoying music will start soon =(
