Really depends on my mood, how much attention I want to pay while watching. If I just want something to keep me entertained while I do something else then it action/comedy. If I want to just sit and watch a film then I like more serious drama or thrillers. |

Like I said genre is hard to choose - but I should add the first needs to be good too or it might be abandoned for something better - it's rare I watch a whole movie if it has a bad first half. |

I tend to lean towards science ficiton, action, or historical type films. So basically anything with aliens, guns, the mob, wars, etc. |
