Some game mechanics I applaud:

 Wars should take place in the manner in which they did they did in the 1930's.  This would entail a few game mechanics to level the playing field.

The war mechanics I feel are the most balanced thing on MR, sure it take a while to build up, but it makes it even more exciting when shit does go down.  Just all my opinion, what do you mean level the playing field are things not fair right now?

A fun thing I dont understand much about but seems pretty good anyway after this stupid war that almost killed everyone in the game nearly.

What about a quiet person who maybe was an excellent sponsor/teacher or a hand who you might not have heard much of?

 I wouldn't know a quiet person.  That quiet person wouldn't be selected. 

As one of those "quiet people", I'd just like to say that I support Squishy's actions and decisions 100%. 

I have been a sponsor/teacher. I have headed "subcrews". I have been Left Hand. My singular mission is to let death slide right off my back so I can come in without being jaded and continue to support the game and the player base in the best way I can. And to be an example, through action, of doing that consistently. My entire aim in playing has always been put the game above myself. That's the reason I chair events and coordinate RP. It's the reason that I volunteered to move into a container crew as a sponsor and coordinate crews for new players. 

Going by the previous posts/arguments, I "might" have made a great applicant for a container CL or whatever else. But I keep to myself. Squishy hasn't seen me. He doesn't know me, hasn't been in my crew, and wouldn't know how to check off the boxes on my application. I can fluff myself up all I want to. But without VISIBLY DEMONSTRATING, in a noticeable way, the above qualifications and characteristics, I readily admit and accept that I cannot... and should not... be trusted with that position when the game is in such a delicate state. 

Sure, I'm a nice person and I totally WANT to contribute in a meaningful way... but Squishy doesn't know me from Adam and has no idea what I might or might not contribute... if I would help or hinder or cause MORE infighting. He NEEDED people IN PLACE... NOW... to shelter the incoming players long enough for a better and more permanent solution to be implemented. 

Debating that decision does nothing but waste time and effort that could be put toward actually finding that better solution and ending rebuild mode. Just my two cents on the matter... from the quiet, little guy. <3
