Ignorance is no excuse for vote fraud. If you are really that poorly educated, retarded or just sub normal, then you shouldn't really be allowed on the big bad internet on your own. You Click on the +, a web page opens, and it says 'click here to vote for Mafia returns' or some similar spiel. Not really rocket science to work out what's going on.

Alabama, I disagree with your assessment. Picking your LHM or RHM is a serious decision, and should be someone you trust implicitly, not some random cheater. I mean, if they are prepared to cheat the game outta a few lousy grand for 5 seconds work, what else are they capable of? Because this is not Facebook and it clearly says on the new pop up page that you need to enter a code or click something to finish the voting process. And THAT doesn't even take common sense, it just takes a bit of reading.

Like I said... on facebook when you vote you click vote, another web page opens up giving you the percentage of votes for the thing you have voted for and the other options in the category, so I presumed it would be the same on here as I had had no indication from admin or other players that it wasnt the case here so I was closing the pages before they even opened completely

and I wasnt a hand for TSA when I was killed. I had been in the past but havent been the RH for a week or so now.

Ive also been informed by people that in the past, admin sent them a message about their voting not being correct. So why were the ones who were killed for it today not given the same courtesy??

Thanks for that Grim. I mainly wanted to point out the differences more than anything. A couple of people had raised the question with me why LaQuenta was jailed and not TSA, I figured there would be a simple explanation involved, but you know what things are like with conspiracies.. TSA being friendly with admin etc. Least things are transparent now in that aspect and you were no longer his Hand.

I actually quite like the vote system. Least there is a level of effort involved to do your vote, wouldn't be much point in rewarding you if there wasn't?

You see Grim, that was your big mistake, you presumed/assumed. How if we all presumed that MR worked like someother site? There have been 2 threads (now 3) detailing what would happen if you didn't complete the process. There are 4 vote threads in the help section.

So basically you never researched the topic, and then got your fingers burnt when you incorrectly 'presumed' you where doing the right thing. Perhaps you got no warning because Squishy finally got fed up with idiots trying to defraud the system.

as for those to be admin whacked maybe they could be drop from there crews or moved to a special crew and be used like durdens as target practice if that many of the offenders.

this is a shock to me also, there is much more info around the game about IP sharing being wrong, and they get a warning message, and then placed in jail as a punishment. Surely they should share the same punishment as the voting frauders?? The IP sharers get a warning about it, which they clearly ignored, and are allowed to live with their punishment being a mesely 12 hours in jail.

I cant complain about being killed like that it was a stupid move from anyone involved...i feel right to complain however about my old boss LaQ getting jailed because of my actions...at the end of the day voting is an OOC action so why should my in game boss take the heat for my OOC vote fraud...surely if anyone deserves all those hours in jail its me not him
