El Camino 7/10 not the worse movie in the world but not the best either. Could have been better as a three part series

Once upon a time in London - 8/10

Gritty British gangster film with lots of gratuitous violence.

IT Chapter 2

I didn't have high hopes for the film as I'm not a major fan of horrors but I managed to watch it all with a friend and it was actually better than I had anticipated not really that scary but there was a few spooky moments 😅, Also there was a few famous faces in the new film I'd recommend that you watch it if you haven't but don't rush yourself it ain't nothing too shout about.

Xmen Dark Phoenix

I'd rate it a 6 out of 10.

I watched it cause I had seen all the other ones, I was a little disappointed that Wolverine wasn't in it but all in all I'd say I'd rewatch it in the future.

Joker

It was overrated. It was an okay movie. Not bad, not great, just okay. Joaquin did a good job, but Idk about all this Oscar talk. Personally if you're looking for a comic like Joker, you'll be highly disappointed, but if you're okay with an elseworld story and wanna see a psychology flick involving Joker, then you'll probably like this. Go in with low expectations of action, and high expectations of a movie that makes you think to best enjoy it.

6/10

Shot Caller - 7/10

Not bad, follows the rise of Jamie Lannister from a wealthy, privileged stock trader to becoming the top boy in the rec yard. Brutal in parts.

Report Post Tip

Paterson.

Very good, low-key, low-stakes, a nice change.

Captain Phillips

I know this came out ages ago but I've had it recorded and only just got around to watching it. I thought it was good fun but don't think I would watch it again, once you know where it goes

6/10

Annabelle Comes Home

That link is to a film called "The Spider's Web: Britain's Second Empire (Documentary)". It's an independent film about how Britain changed from being "The Empire" - stripping natural resources from it's colonies - to becoming the world leader in tax evasion via trust schemes in it's ex-colonies... which, incidentally, is why Brexit was suggested by the Tory back-benchers in the staunchly Eurosceptic 'Bruges group' and (more recently) the ERG.

Folk like Jacob Reese-Mogg or Steve Baker, stand to make millions by shorting the UK economy, on top of the billions they have in un-named, undeclared offshore tax haven trusts. These people are the architects of Brexit and they suggested it because the continuation of tax evasion via trusts is threatened by proposed EU regulations which are designed to curb the loopholes that allow trusts to exist.

It's explained simply, is very informative and is extremely interesting. I just wish more people investigated things like this before making the mistake of thinking the UK government give a shit about anything other than money - 9/10

JaVale_McGee, that is an outrageous statement!

The Irishman - 9/10

Typically Scorcese; some brutal violence scattered through a hugely interesting story. DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci are all sensational - even more believable and more engaging as mob bosses now they're older guys. Easy to lose the 3 and a half hours without even realising it.
