Kenny walks in the bakery with a pack on his back, drooling already. He had heard around about Tammy and her baking skills and decided to check for himself; he walks around then sits on a lonely table, away from other people. He places the backpack on the ground and opens it - he pulls a bottle of rum and takes a long sip, then stashes it again on the backpack.
He eyes the menu and quickly decides what he wants. He gets up then heads towards the waiter to order.
"Can I have a Molten Chocolate Cake? Deliver to that table there, pretty please?" He points where he was seated and gives a warm smile to the waiter.
He sits on the table again and pulls a pen and a piece of paper and starts doing an drawing of the bakery while waiting for his cake. |

Louis walked in to make his normal visit to Tammy’s when he visited Detroit. He was never there that often, the allures of the sexier cities dragging the young man around but this time he had several appointments in town; all duly fulfilled. The familiar scents of vanilla and coffee filled the air and drew him in. He walked to the counter and waved to the young woman serving. ”Good morning. Could I please have one of the molten chocolate cakes please, with custard. Mmmm...and I think I’ll have a saliva free black coffee to go with it please.” The waitress wrote his order down and asked where he was sitting. “Just over there behind the door.” The waitress told Louis she would bring it over when she was ready. |

Grosso was in Detroit, a city he did not visit often but had decided to come and have a look. He had been busy helping out other cities with some of their problems and decided to stop by Detroit on his way back home. It was still early morning when he arrived at the airport of Detroit and decided to get something to eat and a cup of coffee. He craved something sweet and remembered a place his boss had talked about. He focused on remembering the name of the place. All he remembered was it had something to do with cake. Grosso went outside and waited for a cab to stop. As he entered he decided to ask the driver if he might know of a place. He asked the man, "Do you know of a nice place to get a cup of coffee and maybe some cake?". Clearly surprised by the question of cake in the early morning the cab driver nodded yes and ushered Grosso to take place. Grosso barely closed his door when the driver hit the gas, the man surely wanted to get grosso out of his cab as quickly as possible and get the next passenger. About 15 minutes later the cab came to an abrupt stop and the cab driver pointed to the meter. Grosso gave the man some money and got out of the cab. As he looked up to the building he was facing he saw a sign named The icing on the cake - Tammy's Bakery. He instantly knew he was at the right place. Grosso opened the door and walked towards the counter where he was surprised to see his Boss LouisMezzo sitting by the door. He greeted his boss and told him he would get his order in and come join him. When it was Grosso's turn the young woman behind the counter walked away with a tray full of food. Grosso turned and saw it was his bosses order. When the woman returned she asked him what his order would be. Grosso replied, "I would like a slice of Dutch apple pie, with some whipped cream if you have any? And could I get an espresso with that as well?". The woman nodded and write it down, Grosso then added, "I will be joining the man by the door." Grosso turned at walked towards the table where Louis was taking a sip of his coffee. Grosso grabbed an empty chair and sat down. "How nice to see you here boss. Hope you are doing well. Any thing I can help you out with?" |

It was not that Tammy had forgotten about her bakery. It was more that she could not find it anymore.. She still had not gotten a plot assigned for it by Godfather Rampage. And her crew's leader Soseki seemed to have the location of her bakery low on his list of priorities as well. Anyway, she found it now. And boy, she found something when she found it. Last time she was at the bakery, she had let the daily management over to DonaBisi. Tammy had had complete confidence in her, but apparently things had not turned on totally as planned, she noticed, judging from the bullet holes in the outer wall, close to the entry door. She also remembered how she had sat with @Charlie_Pavanno, who asked her to set up different bakeries around the country. She remembered she had to run somewhere and never managed to get an answer in.. As she entered, the bakery was filled with gossiping people... The first rumour she heard had it that Sapphire had been waiting to get her molten chocolate cake and coffee and never had received anything.. Tammy sighed.. Samuru_Tachibana apparently had been waiting on his custard for A kitchen help sped towards Tammy with an angry look upon her face. Aimee ran away without buying anything. Also, @Charlie_Pavanno said hi ages ago. And now he is dead! I sure hope you visited his funeral, because he has been gone for quite some time by now. Further, there is this guy named LouisMezzo, he demands better custard! But we ran out of fresh milk! And now he even wants cichorium without saliva! We can't work like this! Well.. over there we have RaylanVilmont.. When he entered he was a couple of weeks late for a birthday cake.. Now he is.. what.. a month and a half late?! You can't do that to people, Tammy! Look at Frank-Cali! He came in as a gangster and made it up to Boss whilst he was waiting for anyone to give him some tea and cake! Even LillisMolly found the bakery before you 'found it back'. It has been a nightmare, Tammy! Never leave us alone like that again! Tammy kind of started to feel bad about her neglectance.. Kind of, that was.. Giuseppe has been waiting there for days. It's a catastrophe! Don't you understand? We even had to clean up KennyRusso's trail of drool! And look! He started painting on a paper.. And by now his picture has covered two whole walls! Anyway.. Her voice went back to anger mood And then.. she sighed.. Then there is the issue with that person there.. She pointed with her head towards Zeitgeist, who was mysteriously looking at Tammy and then slid her some photographs. There was a small silence before Tammy answered Of course, Tammy smiled, of course we can make that for you. It will be ready in a flash! She turned her face to the booths and smiled. If it's full when I am not attending, it may get properly busy if I will! The help was looking furiously and was about start fuming as Tammy left the bakery saying |

Giuseppe wakes up from his table and his cake finally shows up. "I sure hope it was worth the wait Tammy." He smiles and digs into the cake, rather enjoying himself. |

A chill from the door opening caused Louis to look up, it had been a surprise to see Grosso come in if for no other reason than Louis was not always one for paying attention. He nodded to Grosso when he said he would be back in a minute and put a spoon into his custard. Yet again it was lumpy. He took one taste and put the spoon back down, it wasn’t particularly appetising. This was the problem with Tammy’s. It was just….neglected. It was also the reason he rarely came to Detroit, when he came he felt obligated to pop by but the service and quality was poor. It was almost as if they took the stagnant water on the roof to make the coffee…uggh. When Grosso sat down, Louis went to talk. He felt bad that he hadn’t tasted the coffee before Grosso had ordered but Grosso asked if there was anything he needed help with. Not wanting to appear too rude, he looked around at the rest of the clientele and decided to keep it a bit general. “Hey Grosso, be careful with what you’ve ordered. Did you ask for the saliva free espresso? I have no proof it is actually saliva free but I figure at least I’ve asked so as long as there are no floaters it should be ok.” Suddenly there was a lot of screaming and squawking by the counter. Louis closed his eyes, it sounded like a hen house in distress. He shook his head slightly then opened them again to see Tammy getting berated about something or other. “Grosso, you know I only come here since Tammy used to be of great assistance to my father. I hoped this would be a success and wondered whether she might have taken over his restaurant in his absence but looking at how quickly this place has descended I’m quite glad she didn’t. I might take a flight to Seattle and check it out.” He looked about, most of the people had started to leave with all the noise. He took another sip of his rancid cup of disgustingness and screwed his face up. On the road outside, a small pothole had filled with water. “How’s your espresso? Do you think we should go out there and drink from that puddle?” |

As Grosso sat down by LouisMezzo he noticed Louis did not enjoy his order. He had put the spoon back in the cake and did not touch it. When grosso was asked if he had asked for the saliva free coffee he was not sure if Louis was joking or not. He decided not to take a chance on this and left both his coffee and pie untouched. The Grosso talked about his father and the reason he had visited. Louis had never spoken much about his father and this he kept a mystery. And it was his good right to do so. When Louis told him he was probably going to Seattle and check out the restaurant. He then asked if Grosso wanted to drink from the puddle outside. Figuring the coffee wouldn't be that bad he took a sip of coffee. He didn't get a good taste of it since it was cold, he should have drank from the coffee when he got it. Before they got up from the table to leave Grosso replied to his boss, "I think I am heading to Las Vegas, have some things to do back there. Hope to see you back home soon." As they left Grosso tipped his hat to Tammy in respect and opened the door for his boss. |

Everyone immediately noticed that both the quality of the coffee and cake as well as the value for money had instantly become top notch again, right after Tammy's return. Giuseppe was enjoying his cake and decided to let the rest of the customers know he was enjoying it. Boy, the noise! Tammy smiled.. Knowing everyone around was content, she looked around.. Then she looked at a grumpy man near the window. He was spoiling his perfect custard by stirring into it, adding his own saliva through a fork he just had in his mouth that way. Tammy wanted to run towards LouisMezzo and smack him before telling him off, saying he would get lumps that way. After she looked at him pulling another disgusted face and contammynating Grosso with his foul taste, she couldn't handle herself anymore and went over. Mister Mezzo! She said as she stood still before him. And you, Mister Grosso. She shifted her look from one Philadelphian to the other. Tammy smiled. She clearly was glad that everyone was enjoying themselves in her busy bakery. She was glad to see Grosso try the coffee and greet her with a tip of his hat as he left. He must have been a good associate, saving his boss for a public humiliation, he would probably teach him some etiquette soon. Tammy knew LouisMezzo would show some better manners next time he would be over and that made her content. |

Louis glanced up when Tammy started ranting and raving at him. It sounded like white noise to be fair. She squawked like a seagull at times. He must have been hearing things though. Tammy didn’t just threaten Grosso did she? Or by extension him? He looked back down at the custard. He had not been drooling in it and it was lumpier than a cheap mattress in a down market brothel. Louis hated being a critic, especially in the establishment of a dear family friend but Tammy could not take criticism. There was a glint in her eyes, a madness that he had never seen before at least not in Tammy. Louis turned away and stared out of the window now Grosso had left. His mind wandered back to his childhood and the times he spent with his father around the streets and businesses of Seattle. Louis stood up and without saying anything to the ranting Tammy, he left. Mindful that he should maybe pay a visit to a library and look a few things up. |

Frank was back in Detroit and once again he walked into Tammy's Bakery looking for Tammy yet again she was conducting business else where. He walked to the counter and looked at the pastries. He spotted his favorite desert an apple fritter smiling he whispered. Hello beautiful, I've missed you greatly. He slowly looks up to order and smiles looking into the eyes of the staff member. You know every time I come in here I pray that you have an apple fritter. My I have that last one and a cup of joe? Thanks sugar now that the bakery has made my dream come true this morning let me make your dream come true. He reached into his pocket and paid with a twenty and told her to keep the change. That was enough money to buy groceries for a month of treat herself to a local club and eat a steak dinner and drinks for two for the night. Frank sat a near by table and ate his fritter and drank his coffee. With no business to conduct he sat there looking out the window at the poor sap's that walk by everyday going to and from work. 9-5 only to make $100 bucks a month if your lucky enough to be a manager of a bank. Frank was making a million a month just off of bootlegging. Then he started thinking about his Next load coming in at the request of his uncle Joe. Giuseppe Ligambi was the crime boss of Detroit and his uncle and when Frank was in trouble in the old country it was uncle Joe that got him by sending for the boy. Frank owed his uncle a great debt and when he began working out in Chicago Frank first stop when he got heavy into bootlegging was to ensure that uncle Jo got a few loads at a reduced rate. He started dealing with Rebecca Ferrari his underboss because joe was getting up in years and telling stories about when Frank was a toddler and Frank hated those stories. Plus Rebecca always ordered more every month. She believed in have extra just encase sales increase unexpectedly. He felt comfortable in Detroit so he would stop off each chance business or free time would allow. |

Wandering in to Tammy's bakery still a little out of sorts from the celebrations over the previous few days, Soseki looks around for the proprietor. He saw Tammy preparing what looked to be a red velvet cake. Hey Tammy! I'm in dire need of a coffee, and a slice of Dutch apple pie would go down a treat if you would be so kind. I know you've been asking for a real location for months now instead of this weird kafkaesque address you've somehow acquired, perhaps it would be a good idea to incorporate the bakery in to your new HQ? Saves on the leg work of taking the daily special over there as well! |

Ugggh. Detroit again Louis thought. He looked up at the dank and dreary skies. Even taking into account that it was late January, this was a depressing place to be. Not like the fun filled phenomenon that was Philadelphia at this time of year. Louis walked along and wondered if Fiesta Philly would ever catch on. As he strolled around cursing the miserable day he had chosen to come here, the well kent aroma of bad coffee signified Tammy’s was once again in the vicinity. Louis was glad he was upwind of the all pervading smell, it smelled of drains if you were downwind and stuck in your mouth so you felt like you were consuming week old bath water. To be fair, prior to Tammy’s reappearance it had started to taste like stagnant ditch water so every cloud, silver lining and all these things. As he approached the door Louis was unsure whether the café was really still there but he walked in anyway. He knew Tammy was in town as he had taken a shine to her back pocket earlier to little avail so hoped she was inside. She was not it appeared. Louis walked to the counter. “A small cup of bath water…” he shuckled to himself…”a small coffee today please.” Louis handed over a few dollars and sat down. |

J-Love had been having tea in New York when a smartly dressed woman whispered something about great tasting coffee in Detroit, the woman seemed too important to be a crazy person bothering random strangers in coffee shops so J-Love jumped at the opportunity and flew straight to Detroit. Upon arrival J-Love was a little lost, he must have looked like a tourist as he had never been to Detroit before so had decided on asking people for directions until finally at the third time of asking someone knew the place he was looking for, Tammy's Bakery was the place he was looking for and it didn't take him long to get there once he had directions. From the outside the place looked pretty ordinary, just like any other bakery and coffee shop he had seen around New York or Philly, but once inside J-Love was blown away, the place still looked pretty ordinary but the aroma and atmosphere was amazing, people looked extremely happy to be there and were almost over friendly and the cakes on display looked spectacular, J-Love couldn't wait to get his order in so rushed to the counter where he saw a familiar face. "Hey.. you are the woman from the coffee shop, you must be Tammy, nice to meet you. I flew all this way and no sticky toffee pudding! Well I guess i'll try the swiss roll with custard and some of this amazing coffee please." J-Love pulls out a tiny piece of paper and scribbles down something quickly while the the lady gets his order, he folds it up and writes 'suggestion' on the front and places it onto the counter then goes to find a table while he waits.

Sinfest always a fan of sweets and bakeries just had to check out the Famous or should one say Infamous Tammy's Bakery. He walks in and is immediately assaulted by such an appetizing aroma that Sinfest has to check his drool. When he sees lemon curd cheesecake on the menu he already knows what he wants. He walks up to the counter with a 5 dollar bill and asks "I am in desperate need of your lemon curd cheesecake please!" As patiently as he could he awaits his order and is excited to take some to his crew's head quarters so the boss man Rick could have a taste. "Old men like lemon curd right?" Sinfest asks to no one in particular when he gets his cheesecake. He tips his hat and leaves the store happy to have gotten such a great deal on something that smelled so delicious. |

Running late as usual J-Love threw on some old clothes and dashed out the door, his head was still hazy and he needed something to pick him up so on his way to the family headquarters he decided to stop by Tammy's Bakery, he could see the place was pretty busy this morning so stopped outside for a few minutes smoking a cigar while the queue dwindled down. Once it did he stubbed out his cigar before heading inside. "Good morning all, Tammy around? don't let her know i'm late for work." J-Love smiled and gave a wink to the staff who were in today. "Can I get a coffee to go please, milk and 1 sugar." The coffee didn't take long to arrive and leaving a generous tip and a parting tip of his hat J-Love quickly made his way to work hoping Tammy hadn't arrived there yet. |

The drain water came and Louis sat and stared at the insipid brown liquid masquerading as a fine, tasty drink. He gave it a sniff and it didn’t really smell like anything worth drinking. Louis looked around the cafe and was amazed to see people coming and going. He felt quite bad for Tammy. Making custard was a skill you either had or didn’t he supposed but a good coffee was just the application of hot water and pressure to ground coffee beans so there wasn’t really as much skill; just good quality raw materials. Louis took a notebook out of his pocket and started making notes.
It would be a nice gift for Tammy given all she had done for the family over the years. The custard was a lost cause though he feared. Louis sat around a little longer waiting to see if Tammy would appear but it seemed as if she was taking a hiatus from the cafe again. She'll be back soon enough he thought, like a whirlwind...in, out and shaking it all about. It was a hokey kokey idea that she would be around so he left a $5 tip beside the still full cup. He felt sorry for any of the staff in these conditions. Louis made his way out of the door and back into the drizzly mist. |

Tammy had been away to other cities for a while, feeling that she had to now that she was leading her own crew, finding out what were the most popular thing to eat around the country currently. When she came back she noticed there had been huge activity in her bakery. She smiled, feeling great that it had taken off like it had. First thing she did when she entered was walk behind the bar and take a hold of her fellow waitress's arm.. Tell me all the gossip, Joanna! she whispered as she looked her in her eyes from up close, what have I missed and what's going on? Has Frank-Cali been flirting with you again? Have people asked for things we haven't been offering yet? Do people appreciate BreeZe's idea of Today's Special? What has been the talk of town? Did I miss a lot? Poor Joanna was feeling overwhelmed by the curtain-fire of questions Tammy aimed at her. Soseki appeared, asked a coffee and and a slice of pie, before he brought up the perfect solution of the location issue.. Her day could hardly get better as she saw Louis 'Custard-device' Mezzo enter and ask for a coffee.
You may be our most frequently returning customer, and as you must love the coffee here.. Clearly you do, Tammy smiled.. As you probably aren't here for the hospitality.. I will make you an extraordinary cup of coffee.. She wondered how amazed LouisMezzo would be if he would taste it, she just hoped his abusive use of custard had not negatively influenced the function of his taste papillae. As she put the small cup in front of the Philadelphia Don, she saw J-Love enter the bakery. After he ordered, she immediate decided to make another cup of Luwak coffee. Surely, J-Love would love that. As she made Joanna prepare it, she took the note from the counter and read his suggestions for tommorow's Today's Special. When Joanna and the coffee were ready, Tammy walked up to Table 17, put the roll and coffee in front of J-Love and said I will officially make Sticky Toffee Pudding Yesterday's Special. She winked, as she wished him bon appetit. She walks back to the counter to see Sinfest enter. Just before he spoke, she gave him a napkin.. Heartless- had been waiting patiently for a while before he ordered a molten chocolate cake and a coffee. Tammy had seen him around the area a lot lately and was happy that he had found her bakery. It was great that Soseki had at last allocated the place! Now even MichaelScott could find it. |
