Luc was set he reached his heights and was happy with the way his rackets were running.  He was closer to exiting his booze rackets and starting to get more sophisticated rackets like the unions, Loan institutions, construction, and gas.  He was investing in politics that were supporting his goals.  He was celebrating with the gang, Apples, Bobby, Joey A, Jewels, Robert and Ray, Noodles, Paul, Popeye, Sammy and whispers.   He was also celebrating that his Partner Rain helped him with his legit organizations.

John walked in the place nodding to the two security guys standing outside smoking. He then said hello to the owner and ordered a beer and a pie.

He then sat down close to the owner hoping to get some small talk going.

Luc was having a drink when @ John_Trabotti walked over and took a seat.  Luc gave a nod to the men with him and they moved to a different table.  Luc shook Johns hand as they had been friend since childhood.

John the Hammer Trabotti how are you doing brother?  Tell me what's good?

The waiter knew to bring over a glass of whiskey for John without Luc asking.

If you want something to eat here feel free this is my joint and you are my brother.  How do you like Detroit?  I have business here with Joe Zerilli and the purple gang here tend to keep an eye out for my businesses.

Luc walked in with the guys heading to there table in the back right corner.  The manager had there sandwiches ready and cold beer followed them there.  Each time they eat there the food went through the registers but they never paid.  It help clean his money as some people paid one thing but the register would have an extra 10% up charge added that the customer never saw or paid.  Tips were also added to the receipts so that it help with cleaning.

They ate and broke balls and told tall tells of events that were of no concern.  It wasn't family business so they were free to say what they thought was funny.   Luc order another round of beer and cold cuts as they continued talking.  Then the subject got switched to Rain and Luc. They were breaking his balls on how she had him in her clutches and how he looked like a school boy.  They talked about him acting out of character to be with her.  They were always at his side except when it came to seeing her.

Luc took the comments instride and then turned the tables talking about how they were around the women they wanted to know.  Then the room got silent as they realized that they had been there for four hours and were drunk.  So they waked down the street to their hotel and went to their rooms and called it a night.

Chris walked into Cali's and sat at a dinning table.   He ordered an Italian sandwich with the works and a fountain drink.  He looked around and smiled as he knew he was now the owner and this place had potential.   He eat his meal as Peter-Whack, Peanut and Whispers walked in.  They sat at the table with him and then they ordered sandwiches and soda.  Chris never said a wrd as they sat then Whispers laid out the events of the meet with the purple gang.  They agreed to the same terms that they had with Luc.   The local officials also agreed to the same terms that they had.

Chris smiled as he finished his soda.   He realized that he was getting things done slowly but completed.  Then Peter-Whack told Chris that they had everything under control in St.Louis and New orleans.   Chris nodded and then looked at Peanut who told him that Chicago was next on the list but he had to look over a couple of business in Detroit before they see Meyers and Charlie.   The waitress walked over with the bill and Chris paid for everyones meal and drink as he then poured a glass of water into a glass and drunk it.  Then they all left to go to the next spot.

Chris as sitting at his desk looking over the books as the staff was busy getting a catered lunch ready for pick up and dealing with the lunch crowd.  Chris had the radio on and smiling as he looked at the books.  His number one concern was increasing the dollars and decreasing the risk.  Whispers and Peter were out in the resturant looking at everyone walking in.  Ice-pick Joe was seating out side watching everyone walking past.  It was a hectic day for a thrusday but when its busy your making money and making up for a slow monday thru Wednesday.

Claire stared at the menu in her hands, debating her ability to not just sneak a French Dip sandwich onto a plane, but to eat such a messy thing without getting caught with it. Eh, she could always pay off the stewardess, right?

"French dip and a coffee to go, thank you!" She chirped at the older lady behind the counter. She had a warm smile, but very sad eyes, as if she'd seen a lot. Too much.

"Much obliged. Have a lovely day, Ma'am," Claire said, then let out a little sound of joy when she opened the paper sack to find a small container of au jus sauce tucked up against her carefully wrapped sandwich. Placing a five dollar bill on the counter, Claire left before the lady could even think about making change.

The woman walks around the streets of the city as she is wearing her typical uniform, that is instead looking like a school uniform but not precisely such. She knows the city very well, considering how she was born and raised her and also became a leader of one of the underworld gangs in Corktown. Today she felt the need to relax a little bit after all the work that she did lately, so she decided to take an entire day off unless duty would call.

The woman walks across the streets for around 15 more minutes before she sees a sort of cafe, where she has not been before and decides to enter it. Getting new businesses customers is very helpful and gets the whole cities economy going. The more money people have, the more they can spend, so she enters the room and looks around.

She orders a little glass of beer as well as one of the delicious apple pies before she sits down on a table at the front of the business.

Whispers walked into the back office and told him that Sabrina was out front with a glass of beer and apple pie.  Chris looked up and asked him was he sure she had a glass of beer?  Chris luaghed and went to the counter and grabed a glass of him for himself and then he walked outside looking for the woman in a short mini skirt.   He spotted her in seconds and walked over towards her.

So were you going to eat and leave?  Or did you plan to have me come out here and look for you like I just did?

Chris takes a seat at the table with her and sips on his glass of beer.

Chris ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon and fries.  He was still drinking his beer and smiling as he was in the motor city.  Edsel Ford was managing the Ford motor company.  Chris was waiting on a note or a call from a friend.   The bacon cheeseburge was good, Chris liked that cold lettuce and tomato the and melted Cheese.

Chris was in his establishment eating an Italian sub sandwich with fries and orange soda.  Whispers, Peter and Joe were with him eating as well.  They had a day collections were not as easy as prior weeks.  Today they had to beat down a few deviants that were short.  The men were tired and the food was on the house as they were actully hungry.

Chris was back in Detroit and happy to be in the motor city.  He went to his establishment Mr. Cali's Gobagu and ordered a Italian Special sub sandwich and a mug of beer.  He looked at the place as he got there just as it opened happy to see it and how clean it was.  He took a seat at table near the window and sat there looking out with a smile as he ate.

Devante was back in Detroit taking care of business for Sabrina.   Carlos pointed to Mr. Cali's Gobagu and they walked in and took a seat at the counter.  Carlos ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich.  Oscar ordered a itailian subsandwich and Devante ordered the same and three beers.  Devante looked around looking at the people inside and nodded to Oscar to keep his eye's open.   Devante stood and walked towards restroom to take a leak.  He stepped in and looked at the joint the restroom was clean also which was something he liked.  He walked over to the pay phone and placed a call to an associate in the Philly mob.  Then he called a tax collector verified that his rum runner made the drop off.  Everything was going well so he returned to the table.

Devante was back in Detroit he had said his goodbyes to some of his old friends and new ones.  He drove around the city once more and for the first time it looked beautiful.  He would miss this city yet he knew he would return to check on his operations again.   Detroit grows on the heart the city has been beaten and yet the people stand strong, this city has pulled itself out of the ashes several times and yet its people find ways to laugh and make light of its past.  The city has heart, the memories strong and the roads built tough.

As Devante drove around he had Oscar pull over once more to walk into Cali's Gobagu but this time he ordered a single patty cheese burger and their famous fries with a orange soda pop.  It was like heaven as Devante took a bite.  The lettuce was cold the tomato and pickles were too.  The meat and cheese were hot on a toasted hamburger bun.  The season fries were hot and the  soda was cold without the ice.  Each bite was as good as the first then sadly it was over and his last meal in the city that built the cars for America.  He smiled as he realized that one day he would be back.

After getting out of a nearby coffee shop, Hoth figured the best thing to pair with a hot mug of coffee is a beer and a sandwich. While the sun felt great and it was nice to see the blue sky, he sure felt pretty hot outside and spent another five minutes walking around outside until another small business caught his eye. He looked up to read "Mr. Cali's Gobagu" which sounded familiar to him, but it was a name he hadn't heard in a while. Looking over to the side, Hoth sees a few tables, figuring he might as well sit outside if he's going to be drinking a cold beer.

He looked over to one of his bodyguards and made sure he told him to get plenty of sandwichs and beers for the whole entourage to enjoy. After about ten minutes, one of the guys came out, from inside, with a plate full of sandwiches and instantly ran back inside for twelve beers with a thin layer of frost on them, perfect. Grabbing a sandwich and prying the cap off of his beer, Hoth leaned against the table, enjoying the nice sunny day they were having.

Devante was back in Detroit and went to where he knew the food was good.  He went to Mr. Cali's to order four large mugs of beer and a two pepperoni pizza.  He sat at a table with Carlos, Chavez and Sosa and when the food came he smiled and paid giving the waitress a nice tip.  The weather was turning warmer and the men were enjoying it.  They sat at the table talking about the problems that they faced in San Antonio and how they had bigger issues.

The young man sat at a table drinking coffee and reading his news paper.   He was all to happy to have a few minutes of peace.  Then it started again.  People wanting to have a sit down to discuss their gripes hoping that The Greek would intervene or depart a bit of wisdom.  The first person to see him was a young lady name Beth.  Her issue was her husband he was a drunk that continued to take all that she makes and spend it on loose women and booze to include loose women.  Looking at Beth tears he smiled as he nodded and reminded her as to why they got married and love that they had.  Then he told her that he would send a man by to talk with her husband and that she was not to say a word but from time to time bring him a slice of her famous apple pie.  She nodded and left happy.   The young man called over another young man that went by the tag Agot the man chief enforcer.   Agot would be sent to reason with Beth's husband to stop taking the money she saves and to start paying the bills on time.  Any money leftover he had every right to spend how he saw fit.  However if their is a second time then the husband's body would be taxed.

The Greek entered Mr. Cali's Gobagu and ordered a sandwich with a beer.  He wasn't to happy as he was walking around town and realized that he had missed a few collections and the men that missed didn't have the decency to come to him.  He sent Agot and Whispers to collect.  They had a special way of getting the money.  Frances had been late several time but after they put his left hand in a pot of boiling water he would never be late again.  James was late and after getting a beating in his office he paid off his debt with the juice for the next two weeks.  David was later this was his first time and when he went to pick up his son from school he saw his son walking with Agot and Whispers and he knew that he needed to start paying on time every time.  These three men took advantage of The Greek and he wasn't happy.

The Greek was happy to have lunch with his old childhood pal Tony Ducks, It was Ducks that gave Adrian the nickname The Greek.  Adrian always talked about the Spartans and he gave Tony his nick name Ducks because he was always avoiding trouble even when he was caught red handed.   They talked business first then about the good old days with the good old boys.  They then toasted and went their separate ways.

Adrian got a call from a bookie that needed a loan from him.  Adrian laughed until the bookie told him that he had a business deal form him.  Francis Joseph Navin a major owner of the Detroit tigers was looking for partner and that for a hundred grand he would own ten percent of the team.   He greed to the deal and once it was stuck he would give the bookie twenty five grand but if it was bull shit he would ensure that the bookie was a book end before the day was over.  He agreed to meet Mr. Navin at Cal's Gobagu.

Adrian was their with Stefano, Whispers and Agot.  Whispers sat at the counter eating a sandwich and reading a newpaper.  Agot sat at a table near the door eating his sandwich and drinking a sodapop.  Stefano sat at a table with Adrain until Navin walked in with his lawyer.  They place was empty because the lunch crowd wasn't there yet.  This was a down and dirty deal Adrian would own 10% but never make any major decisions Adrain pushed the papers back and told Navin if he was going to be a partner he was going to have all the rights of a partner.  10% was 10% and he had the money and the connections to ensure that the team had no problems on the road or at home.

Navin wanted to sign new players to win a pennot within the next two or three years and this sale was needed now and very few people had the money to make a deal like this in 1932.  Navin agreed to Adrian terms.  Sandwiches and soda and beer would be sold there and he would be the vendor for sandwiches and the chief supplier for the drinks sold.  everything would be legal but the beer.  That was sold under the table and that money went to him and he would give Navin 10 points of the profits.  The bookie got his payment that afternoon with his thank you lunch from Cali's Gobagu.
