Mr. Cali's Gobagu Started by: Frank-Cali on Jan 20, '19 18:24

Devante sat outside in front of Cali's Gobagu bistro.  He enjoyed the sun shine and cool breeze of the day.  He nodded to the ladies that would walk by and to the old men.   He was sipping on coffee and talking with Keith.  The day was like all others sit and wait and hope and pray that everything is everything and the guy's do whats required to earn and kick up enough to keep his boss happy.  The local beat cop would walk by every hour as he patrolled the neighborhood.   He would only look at Devante and never speak as Devante never looked at him.  Devante knew that one day he would have that cop on his payrole it was only a matter of time.  The old man that ran Cali's would come out side and refill Devante's and keith's cup with fresh coffee and chat for a minute then return to his duties.

Jericho enters Mr.Cali's Gobagu he takes a quick glance at the menu and quickly figures out what he wants.

"I'd like a slice of pie and a beer, please."

He pays and carries his beer and pie over to a table before he starts eating the pie, it was just the treat he needed right now.

Devante saw Jericho placing his order, he didn't know the man personally but he did recognize the man and knew that he was connected from the times when Devante was conducting business in Philly.  Jericho was a a friend of ours and Devante knew that to do more business in Philly he needed to get to know Jericho.  He wanted a formal introduction but there wasn't anyone else there that knew them both to make the introduction.   So he walked over and asked him if he like the meal and he hopes that it meats with his satifaction.

"Welcome my friends come sit and eat.  I hope you like."

"Thanks," vGoddess replies, "I'd like a sandwich and beer, please."

She takes a seat and waits for her order to be prepared while she reads a book she picked up from the library.

A rest after much spending walking around the business streets of Detroit after opportunity to earn cash made him get into Cali's Gobagu to get a beer.

He sat there and drank his cold beer and thought of next things to do in life before leaving Detroit, he drank up the last of the beer and thanked the keeper for it and went out to the busy street outside and headed to the back ally there it was pretty easy to rob some to get some good money to spend at the casino later on.

Pete sat at the table eating a sandwich and drinking a soda.  He was there to meet Logan a palfrom the old days when they both ran with Eric the killer Lupo when they were in the five points gang in New York.  Jean walked over and sat next to him.   Jean told Pete not to worry Bobby was standing behind him and Logan would be there shotly.  Pete smiled and told her that he wasn't worried he had friends every where.  Then Logan arrived and said sorry for the delay his people had to ensure this place was safe.

The two spoke for about two hours catching up and talking about possible investments.  Pete liked the way Logan explained the business plans he had but Pete was always slow giving a yes until he could review the numbers.

Pete was back in the motor city as he sat at a table eating a slice and drinking a beer.  He was there with Rita and Gina to talk about family and how they were doing.   Pete told them he loved the work they were putting in and he was giving them points on the operation under their watch.  The girls smiled and thanked Pete as they ate.  Pete told them it started today so going forward do what they needed to do but keep the money rolling in.  They understood and vowed that it would.

Pete walked back into  Cali's Gobagu and ordered a Italian hoggie with the works and a beer.  He looked around and smiling as he enjoyed the aroma it reminded him of home.   He was in the motor city to conduct some business and hope that these deals are more profitable for him then his new counterparts.  He took his beer and sandwich and sat outside it was a nice warm day.   He wasn't alone he had security and he was in protected territory of an old friend that helped him get started in the life.  again he started smiling as the beer was cold and the sandwich was just like his mother made.
